laddu, what made you to think that indian forces can end taliban menace? naxalite problem in india,LTTE in srilanka and insurgency in eastern states were handled by indian forces unsuccessfully .There is some easy and nonvoilent method.somebody should declare himself the second rasool of Allah and tell all muslims that they have to pray 100 times daily instead of only 5 times as of now. That leaves very little time for any other activity (including terrorism)

My full sympathies for the current havoc that Talibs are creating in your back yards Ayesha.
But, I think you have now be ready with your licensed weapons and make police secure. The police men are clearly afraid of these Talib brigands- eiher you call them and do joint operations in order to protect your propery.
I think a good solution would be to invite Indian forces to help fight with these Talibs. It is time we indians thought about he strategic depth and the possibility of Talibs taking over Pakistan completely and then moving towards India.
We can send drones to help you track these brigands.
