if i sum up he was greatest in class of gauss, euler, jacobi or may be better than all of them. We don't deserve people of such calibre. What he did is more all others indians contribution to mathematics put together. still no one in india knows who he was. what a shame. had west been his home he may have invented whole mathematics all by himself and would have become immortal in class of eintein and gauss.

what you say is true, eventually we should respect ideas and not people, in more simple words, "eventually, you should live truths".

And I do make small statements about truths all the time, rest of the things that I am saying are to create an environment where muslims can see and accept truths by breaking the huge Islamic propaganda. By which muslims can break Islamic propaganda and can reform it.

Islam and muslims preached their supremacy for long while Islam is actually far inferior to Hindu ideas or culture, they even now keep doing it and want to force people to accept Sharia and tribal laws in their own lands and want Islamic rule eveywhere else. There are millions of them who accept Kuran as "word of God", world seen by their mind or eyes is as big as Kuran???. And such people include even highly educated muslims. People who support Islamic propaganda include people of high status, educated people and even very rich people. They are not only shameless liars but also killers. And such people in Islam are there since Islam got invented; its spread relied on proselytization by any means, using force/lies or whatever can be used. But eventually it suppresses truths and creates a degenerated society

The whole idea of telling what Hindus were and what Arabs were and since when is to tell south asian muslims that while they hate their hindu forefathers, who were much better than they know, their Arab masters themselves learnd most from their forefathers and still could not hold on to anything for long thanks to their Islamic rules.

During my school days,life of a typical Bengali rural child used to be like following....
a morning wake up at 6:00. clean your teeth and wash hands and legs. Take breakfast....
b study until 10:00
c go to school and stay upto 4
d play for 1/2 hours and return back home at 6:00
e wash your feet and hands etc...and offer evening prayer to family deity...
f study upto 8:30
g take dinner and go to bed...
When I look back, it is almost the best routine for a student to grow up...but penetration of cable TV and cricket changed everything....and the last nail in the coffin is the coaching classes......the way the quality of education is reduced to show higher literacy rate is horrible....
My question is why to provide 90% people with very low quality formal education rather than providing 20%-30% people with very high quality education!!!!

If you follow Geeta, there are various Yogas, practicing which, you can attain moksha (aim of every atman or human soul)...Gyan Yoga (striving for knowledge) is one of them...
some followed Bhakti Yoga...etc...

As per temples in every corner in Kolkata or that matter even in Bangalore, you are true...In my opinion, the temple boom is relatively new phenomenon and started last 2/3 deaced...earlier 1 or 2 large temples in a locality or state used to be enough...that is the reason the term Purohit(priest) evolved...now every houses a mini temple.....

I had met one fellow in IISc campus. He was doing his PhD in Digital Signal Processing. He was great follower of Satya Sai Baba...While in conversastion, that fellow told me that, Sai baba knows better DSP than the PhD scholar....it may be true...but then, I was feeling very strange...I can not say that fellow dumb....he had very good academic record from IIT and was doing direct PhD in IISc...he can be considered part of 0.1% of highly educated persons in India...

Check who influenced Ibn Sina,

these are the 3 important ones, there are many more you can find though..

Sushruta, Charaka, Galen

Do you know when Ibn Sina lived, in 1000 AD

Now check when the grand-pas who influenced him lived and check what they did, so you know what is "primary" and what is "PHd"

1. Sushruta was a surgeon and teacher of Ayurveda who flourished in the Indian city of Kashi by the 6th century BC
2. Charaka 300 Bc
3. Galen He lived in AD 129 – 200.


This is not your kind of scenario, where Sushruta, Charaka or Galen are entering 1500 or 1000 or 900 years before him, not few minutes ago.

Read more about Indian mathematics, both what it was and when it happened. And till now Mathematical societies all over world were trying to giving less credit to Indian/Hindu contribution, primariy because its antiquity shocks them and secondarily the Arabs were who brought that hindu information upto them because they were middle-man/traders. But now with people freeing themselves of bias, Indian ancient mathjematics is given more credit by mathematical societies.

Indians are contributing to mathematics almost always, including last 100 years or even during the time when Kerala school contributed which predates related european research and may later be recognized properly. But in last 100 years most of mathematical research was done by first europe and then USA.

Anyway, if you have specific points do let me know once again and I will reply you. Doesn't matter what way you compare Arabs were fortunate to get in touch with two great cultures India and Persia which they almost destroyed. Ibn Sina was also a Persian and not an Arab, though by his time Persia was half Arab, the persian language itself became a secondary language because of muslim conquest of Persia.

The basi idea is that tribal Arabs themselves never improved that mcuh and Islam never created a golden age, the short lived golden age was created by the superior cultures, who already had a golden time before this so called golden age of Arabs/Islam began. And even the people and knowledge was from those who got converted. Many of those scholars of Golden age were not happy with Islam but were not able to do much against it.
