(1) Until the very last moments in 1945 ADOLF HITLER thought he was winning the war.
(2) The mindset of Punjabistan Terrorist Army (PUTA) and Punjabistan Terrorist ISI (PUTISI) is very similar. Rational arguments do not work with PUTA and PUTISI. They still think they are in charge and even worse they think they are even winning or making progress.
(3) Conventional wisdom has been that a stable Pakistan with current borders is good for peace in South Asia. Indies and Amrikis also have thought along those lines. But the reality is playing out otherwise. Thanks to #2 above, events seem to be in no one’s control.
(4) The activities of PUTA and PUTISI, more specifically their pursuit of terrorism and war mongering, are leading to unraveling of internal cohesion of Pakistan if there was any.
(5) The Republic of BALOCHISTAN which constitutes nearly 50% of land mass of Pakistan is the prime candidate. This is a new emerging country in South Asia, and is making Iran also nervous. The situation is likely to continue to deteriorate.
(6) Mr. ZARDARI -despite his past history of corruption- comes across as an emerging statesman. He speaks and conducts himself exceptionally well. Even though he had very little power to do anything, Punjabistanis are already blaming him for all sorts of failures….in no time of course.. What a friggin surprise. If MOHATARMA had been alive she would have met the same fate.
(7) PASHTUNISTAN is another sad story. Thanks to the propaganda of the PUTA and PUTISI, people elsewhere might have got the impression all Pashtuns are raging jihadis.
(8) The reality is there is NO PASHTUN NATIONALISTIC struggle against the foreign troops in Afghanistan. Rather a bunch of terrorists from Punjab, Arab countries, Central Asian republics etc are fighting for their own agendas and play havoc with the lives of ordinary Pashtuns. In the tribal areas all this is happening in connivance and collaboration with ….who else….PUTA and PUTISI..of course.
(9) USA and the international community have to think out of the box and start a new approach to solve the problems in South Asia.
(10) Strategic significance of Pakistan derived from its physical location should be severely undermined. Rapidly developing supply routes, economic lifeline for Afghanistan through Central Asian republics is critical to alleviate the choke hold Pakistan has had on Afghanistan for so long.
(11) Even though US has serious issues with Iran, India developing a supply route to Afghanistan through the new Iranian port will further help in achieving #10. US should not AND WOULD NOT discourage this development.
(12) Military aid to Pakistan should be entirely stopped. Aid to the civilian government should be tightly scrutinized to ensure it is strictly used for economic development and in installments based on how much Pakistan co-operates.
(13) The primary goal for the Afghan people SHOULD BE to establish a government in Kabul that truly represents the aspirations all the ethnic groups in Afghanistan. This is different from the goal of PUTA, PUTISI and Punjabistanis who primarily look at Afghanistan as their colony just like SINDUDESH, JINNAHPUR, BALOCHISTAN AND PASHTUNISTAN and would like to have some puppet government there even if that means they are Taliban terrorists.
(14) Finally, INDIES may not have much to gloat. They should be seriously worried about economy being affected by this holy mess. Indies should dramatically boost their technical capabilities, intelligence apparatus to fight terrorism and be prepared for the potential implosion of Pakistan into a mega-Afghanistan.

Mumbai investigation
IN setting up a three-member FIA investigation team to scrutinise the Indian dossier on the Mumbai attacks, the government had shown a degree of maturity and the beginnings of an institutionalised response to one of the most serious issues it has had to confront. However, while we must wait until the government’s report is published to comment on its contents, problems regarding the government’s ability to conduct the process smoothly have unfortunately already become evident. The Pakistan high commissioner to the UK Wajid Shamsul Hassan has needlessly — and wrongly, according to Prime Minister Gilani — waded into the issue by stating that the Pakistani investigators have concluded that the Mumbai attacks were not planned in Pakistan or the UK. Shamsul Hassan did not clarify where he believed the attacks were in fact planned because the UK and Pakistan are “the two places [he is] concerned about, thereby implying the Mumbai attacks are not his problem anymore. However, while the high commissioner’s brief certainly only covers the UK and Pakistan, his comments on a matter that has sparked a grave crisis between India and Pakistan and put Pakistan under immense international pressure are remarkably cavalier. A bemused Prime Minister Gilani was reduced to telling an Indian news channel, “He (Shamsul Hassan) can’t comment at the moment when the prime minister can’t comment.

nkg,
There is no way that a paki govt can try a muslim in pakiland for jihadic attack on india. What happened in mumbai is al quida 101, attacking teh westerners and the jews, the hindus are only collateral damage. That is the only reson why the US and teh west are so interested.
Mumbai is an al-quida ISI operation using the kashmir jihadis. Any investigation will show the isi role and no paki can do that. The paki investigation will be an eye wash.

India a significant partner of Afghan Govt.: Pentagon
Washington (PTI): Appreciating New Delhi's role in the rebuilding activities in Afghanistan, the Pentagon has identified India as a significant political partner of the Afghan Government.
"India is clearly a significant political and economic partner of the Afghan government," Pentagon spokesperson Geoff Morrell told reporters.
"I know there's a great deal of investment by India in Afghanistan. I think this (Afghanistan) is a country that is in desperate needs of investment, and I'm sure would welcome it from all corners of earth," he said.
After the fall of Taliban, India has been involved in reconstruction and development works in Afghanistan in a massive way. However, in response to another question Morrell said he does not have any knowledge of "a game plan for India to play a more pronounced role in Afghanistan".
Early this week, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen had said India is playing a very important role in Afghanistan. "India has taken significantly positive steps to invest in Afghanistan — has for some period of time," he told reporters at the Washington Foreign Press Centre.

Weapons for Taliban
WHEN we see TV footages of tribal insurgents in the NWFP and Swat, we observe most of them carrying rocket launchers on their shoulders, and all with modern automatic weapons.
These are very expensive hardware, hardly affordable in the poverty-stricken areas where they are operating.
Has anybody asked where these weapons are coming from? Has anybody highlighted the marks/labels on these weapons to indicate their source or origin?
/////////helping pakistan/////
the above is from a letter to teh editor of dawn.
The poor paki has no clue about from where such weapons are coming. Well some clue to that can be found in the mumbai attack. The grenades used by the jihadis were made in paki amrmanet factories.
All of teh weapons used by the jihadis come from paki army, the poor jihadis have no money to be spent on weapons, they are provided by the isi.
Hope thsi hel;ps the poor paki letter writer to understand bettter his own country.

Three alleged Indian agents arrested in Lahore
By Our Staff Reporter
LAHORE, Jan 29: Three men said to be Indian agents were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities in the provincial capital and other parts of the country.
City police chief Pervaiz Rathore said at a press conference that a large quantity of explosives, remote-controlled bombs, sensitive documents, maps and drawings of sensitive installations and advanced weapons had been found in their possession.
He claimed the suspects had confessed to having crossed the border at least seven times and receiving training from officials of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in New Delhi and Amritsar.
/////////////////
In swat, the alleged nato spies are killed and displayed on the road side per jihadic traditions. I do hope that the paki army, with the motto, jihad in the name of god, will do the same.

The thoughts resonate with the effusions of Mahathir Mohamad expressed by virtue of his open letter to Obama
Open Letter to Barack Hussein Obama, President-elect of the United States of America
By Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Former Prime Minister of Malaysia
January 1, 2009
Dear Mr. President,
I did not vote for you in the Presidential Election because I am Malaysian. But I consider myself one of your constituents because what you do or say will affect me and my country as well.
I welcome your promise for change. Certainly your country, the United States of America needs a lot of changes.
That is because America and Americans have become the most hated people in the world. Even Europeans dislike your arrogance. Yet you were once admired and liked because you freed a lot of countries from conquest and
subjugation. .
It is the custom on New Year's day for people to make resolutions. You must have listed your good resolutions already. But may I politely
suggest that you also resolve to do the following in pursuit of Change.
1) Stop killing people. The United States is too fond of killing people in order to achieve its objectives. You call it war, but today's wars are not about professional soldiers fighting and killing each other. It is about killing people, ordinary innocent people by the hundreds of thousands. Whole countries will be devastated.
War is primitive, the cavemen's way of dealing with a problem. Stop your arms build up and your planning for future wars.
2) Stop indiscriminate support of Israeli killers with your money and your weapons. The planes and the bombs killing the people of Gaza are from you.
3) Stop applying sanctions against countries which cannot do the same against you.
In Iraq your sanctions killed 500,000 children through depriving them of medicine and food. Others were born deformed.
What have you achieved with this cruelty? Nothing
except the hatred of the victims and right-thinking people.
4) Stop your scientists and researchers from inventing new and more diabolical weapons to kill more people more efficiently.
5) Stop your arms manufacturers from producing them. Stop your sales of arms to the world. It is blood money that you earn. It is un-Christian.
6) Stop trying to democratize all the countries of the world. Democracy may work for the United States but it does not always work for other countries.
Don't kill people because they are not democratic. Your crusade to democratize countries has killed more people than the authoritarian Governments which you overthrew. And you have not succeeded anyway.
7) Stop the casinos which you call financial institutions. . Stop hedge funds, derivatives and currency trading. Stop banks from lending non-existent money by the billions.
Regulate and supervise your banks. Jail the miscreants who made
profits from abusing the system.
8) Sign the Kyoto Protocol and other international agreements.
9) Show respect for the United Nations.
I have many other resolutions for change which I think you should consider and undertake.
But I think you have enough on your plate for this 2009th year of the Christian Era.
If you can do only a few of what I suggest, you will be remembered by the world as a great leader. Then the United States will again be the most admired nation. Your embassies will be able to take down the high fences and razor-wire coils that surround them.
May I wish you a Happy New Year and a great Presidency.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad
