tahir ji,
Contrary to your constant exhortations to others to read Quran, it is YOU who needs to re-read the Quran and Hadith.
Intercession is one of the most important pillars of mullah Islam because it cuts through the vile acts and banditry of momeens and makes them eligible for the special places in Jannah.
It is what makes suicide bombing the short cut to Jannah- it is what drives most of the momeens to induge in all sorts of vile acts - ALL IN THE NAME OF ISLAM.
Without the concept of intercession by your Prophet momeens do not draw the confidence that they would reach the jannah.
If you ask those who believe in intercession: "How will Muhammad recognize those who deserve his intercession?" they tell you, "God will tell him!" According to this concept, a person will go to Muhammad and request his intercession. Muhammad will then ask God whether this person deserves his intercession or not. God will inform Muhammad that the person deserves to go to Paradise.

Dear you should have checked with the site briefly. Mullah bashing won't lead us anywhere. We have got to be open minded and frank in our approach to the topics at hand.

In addition to #53 …
… and accepting intercession “where evidence is permitted opens a can of worms (not that there is anything wrong with it).
What if a holy man has this evidence … and is needed to present one’s case to the Almighty? And what is a holy man anyway?? Was prophet Muhammad one? What about naqsh’s sufi master? I am doomed if my mother-in-law qualifies …
And welcome back; hope you’ll stick around. I guess I went through the procedure for nothing. One can never trust his parents, I’ve just learnt …
+++
tahir, you fool, it’s not about “inner contradictions or “giving fake hopes or suppositions …
All I have stated is that Quran makes room for humans to intercede on each other’s behalf (despite denial from tahmed). Who, what, and under what circumstances is a different discussion …
Btw, have you considered switching to decaff …?

The Qur'an states many times about Muhammad's (peace on him) reality as a walking talking mortal who, when asked for miracles, was asked to say, "miracles are with Allah only".
There are places he has been granted a very special status (you will disagree I'm sure) and yet many times he has been referred to:
64:12) Pay heed, then, unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle; and if you turn away, [know that] Our Apostle's only duty is a clear delivery of this message.

Stutter-2, Asadi sahib is correct.
We two are right; you are wrong in your suppositions.
The Qur'an is totally without inner contradictions.

Stutter-2
When did you revert to Islam?
Anyway, quote ALL the references, and stop giving people fake hopes.
No dead pir (you know who) will be able to save your sorry rear bumpers unless you've driven according the rules.
More later.

masadi,
I agree. But what I am showing is that Quran DOES allow for intercession! And this contradicts tahmed’s half-baked theories. It's ironic that he has not taken the time to read his favorite Book yet ...
I don’t know if tahmed has sold-out (perhaps not consciously) … but certainly, he is not a very intelligent person (gently stated) … and is mainly stuck in denial, esp. when it comes to the Book.
I still get a chuckle out of tahmed insisting that Quran confers no special status to its messenger. But he no longer pushes this theory since he and I had a discussion (grin)

Sattar mian, "except whom he permits", does not translate into x,y and z are those whom God permits. Intercession in its use in the Quran refers to a defense where evidence is permitted. It does not mean that you get off the hook because a holy man argues with God on your behalf. Intercession of that kind would be injustice and no verse of the Quran suggests that.
That said, tahmed is a sellout to the white man.
TNITC masadi
p.s Circumcision is not part of Islam

tahmed,
Your habit of quoting Quran selectively amounts to intellectual dishonesty. I am only pointing out your inconsistencies; no hard feelings I hope.
Perhaps you are reluctant to actually read Quran … because it may not measure up to what you were told to believe. And this, understandably, embarrasses you.
So instead of worrying about discussion, take the time to actually read the Quran. Iqra, miaN … Iqra. And I am not sending you to any web-site, but to the Book itself ...

syedjaved: by referring me to a website while ignoring what is clearly written in the Quran, you are merely refusing to face the truth.
And the truth is that mullah islam is no islam - it is a means to using islam to earn a living (in case of ordinary pir, fakirs), or to get fame and wealth (in case of tv mullahs and website mullahs), or to otherwise get power or prestige in society (as in case of mullah diesel and co).

tahmed (#42),
You should, perhaps for the first time, consider reading the Quran … all of it, and not just a few verses here and there …
Not too long ago you were boasting that Quran confers no special status to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) … and that this, in itself, proves that Quran is not authored by Muhammad.
Very impressive … except that it is not true ...
I pointed out verse after verse, where blatant special treatment is given to Prophet Muhammad, as well as his wives. If you were honest, this alone should have made you question the authenticity of Quran. But you dropped the issue …
Now, I am not suggesting what is right, or wrong, in Quran … or Islam, etc. But you need to be forthright and honest about what Quran actually says … and not quote selectively. Yes indeed, while holding individuals responsible, Quran does make room for intercession …
Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? … (2:255)
This is only one of several examples where Quran makes room for intercession; I hope you get the point.
Quoting selectively is very convenient, and at times, intellectually dishonest. Like I said, you should read Quran … all of it, and not only few verses here and there that fit your notions.
It all started with “Iqra (Read) … which remains a challenge for some to this day … (sigh)

Dear there is no cast system in Islam. Everyone is individually answerable to God. Further your reading and understanding of the Quran requires more depth and sincerity which I believe you amply have to seek out the truth. I can't say much here. Pl log into www.ambassadorsofislm.com you will find a lot of good material to read Kindly continue to interact this way you wil let lose a lot of anger that is the result of and due to our misnderstaning of Islam.

Tah-Med 'batees',
"some of the most lewd and shameless language i have heard has been from maulvis. A maulvi is nothing but a jahil with a beard. common sense is way beyond his league."
I could pass your comments on to the Taliban High Command but thank your lucky stars, I don't know them at all.
Gute Nacht jetzt.
