This could have been construed as a spicy sexual odyssey of a woman had we not known that this theme is all too common in West, where women all too often write elegies after elegies of their lost modesty, worthlessness and failure at relationships. Such jagged little pills appear to be all sugar coated but inside there is nothing but venom, anger and frustration over lost time, desperation and hopelessness.

Over a million year of human evolution had resulted in the relationship between man and woman as bothers, sister, mother, father, daughter, wife, husband, cousin, and friend. Rejecting or relegating these relationships have reverted human back to the age before the caves. Without these relationships, the liaison between man and woman is nothing but that of male and female animals of specie.

This is extremely sad. Yes ‘stuff’ happens to all of us. Yes, we give in to our extreme desire to rebel. But our yearning for meaningful relationships just does not go away. It is so much ingrained in our genes now. Doing the right thing, while sacrificing self, is the only way to have meaningful and sustainable relationships.

nb: Yay! =)
VRV: Thanks! I only once kept a diary which became boring and turned into a journal but i havent written one in a very long time. Although i always joked that i should pen down my life. Here it is! =) Glad you like it!

My comment got filtered and thanks to Chowk staff for unfiltering it. Why did anyone complain about it?

Congrats Padash, for admitting to multiple sexual partners - something women in the subcontinent do not admit to normally.

In return for your frank admission, here is some advice, that women in the subcontinent wont teach you : get married to one of the blokes, and ditch him a few years down the line, for alimony. Of course, you may have to shell out some money for dowry, to get a really rich guy, but its worth it. After all, with all the present laws in India, there are many opportunities to blackmail him to shell out a lot of money indeed!

You will find it lucrative to accuse any guy of 'having sex after promising to marry'.

WAKE UP MALES! SPEAK UP!

I really don't understand DinaStrange's strange point. If you're happy that women are speaking out, then why are you judging Padash's lifestyle? Can't she have the freedom to do what she wants, and marry who she wants? I see no contradiction between the two.

In fact, the 'moral policing' that gets meted out to stories like that on Padash's life contribute more to creating an unequal gender balance in South Asia than you'd imagine. Let Padash be, and let her do as she chooses.

For all we know, this could all just be fiction. Albeit entertaining. And perhaps Padash is having the last laugh.

Girl you sure can write and it was a nice read but I can never approve of your way of life. I'd call wrong a wrong though at the end of the day it's your own life and we are the inhabitants of a free world.

I didn't like one thing though. You sleep around with white man then why don't you have guts to marry a white man even if your parents are against it. Because I am sure they'd never like you sleeping around like that as well but you do. Think about it! Somewhere I smell hypocrisy in this attitude.

Technically speaking this piece was much better than Pen-Pals.

Have a nice day!

Dear missdinastrange!
You should know that dating a man does not imply that he would marry you in near future. And that is what casual dating is for..why the hell people become senti-emotional cry babies after being ditched.
"f u are paki, does it mean that u knowledge should be JUST LIMITED to pakistan. What kind of moron are u then? U live in a world, full of different nationalities, cultures and people, u gotta know them, right.

This kind of ignorance and arrogance AMAZES me."
oh baby chill too much anger....

There's no need to carry on like that about morons and idiots. You appear to have more than a passing acquaintace with Pakistani culture. Did you live there or marry or date a Pakistani or something?

btw, i am leaving this entry. The story was okay, the writing was good and the point of this story is unanswered. Padash seems a nice girl but very confused, so i wish her luck. The fact that a muslim/paki girl can speak openly about with how many men she sleeps around is a good sign that women now have the guts to speak openly about what men had been doing for centuries, yet when women tried to do the same, they were labeled sluts.

padash, i didn't mean to offend u, but i couldn't understand the POINT of u story.
good luck to all.
