Re: # 24
Thank you Mishi,

I am grateful to god for being able to feel the pain without being hurt myself. Sometimes i wonder how people live after parting. Its truly heartbreaking.

Re: # 23
Dear Leenah,

Thank God that i have not experienced the feeling in the narrated extent, but i can imagine the pain and suffering of loving someone who is not worth holding on to. Especially when the head part knows its time to move on and the heart has not come to terms with this decision.

I think staying because of the humanity would have resulted in complete apathy a couple of years down the road. That is what happens to so many couples who stay together "because of the children" and in later years their only communication is sarcasm through their kids. And that is immensely sad. So i guess one should either stay with goodwill forever or leave quietly with minimum damage.

Then again how would i know until i experience a real relationship:) Do remember me in your prayers.

Fond Regards,
A

I wish Amber that wouldn't be your own....and Allah may never put you in a trial....
It was heart touching, human desires are never selfless which wonderly bother every single person.

Very well written Amber! Very well conveyed!
If its not an experience, I pray that it never becomes one, ameen; and if it is, I pray that your spirit regains its vigor soon, ameen.

Delivering the extent of numbness has been remarkable, but there was a shift of style, which someone has pointed out here earlier as well, a transition from symbolic to narrative. Had that slight phasal shift not been there, I think it could have been even better.
Just wondering, what would the story have been if inspite of all that numbness of a soul hanging in vacuum, your humanity would have asked you to stay?

Kya kahein Tahir? "kuch keh bhi nahin saktey, chup reh bhi nahin saktey"
Eik purani behas yaad aa gaye eik dost ke saath. Ager mein inkaar karun to woh such samjhay ga aur ager ikrar karun to bhi...insaan karey to kya karey?? Xhalein faisla aap pe chor daitey hain. ager sacchi hai to bhi dil dukhaney waali aur ager afsana hai to bhi dilsoz... aap parhain zaroor, chahey acchi kahani samajh ke ya phir kisi becharey dil ki roodad. yeh faisla aap pe chora:)

Only a bad cook will cook up fake stories?

I'll assume all of it is true.

Re: # 9
I agree human desires are very hard to understand and reason with. The quote comes to mind "There are two tragedies in life, one is not to get your heart's desire and the other is to get it" I guess one is never satisfied either way. So it must be peace that we are looking for and not happiness.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: # 8
Dear Sunil,
I am still working on my strength in etching characters but i had to share the thought so chose the monologue format...more of a soliloquy. It kind of leaves room to embed thoughts and feelings with the narration. But really appreciate the tip.
