The story is written exceptionally well; I like it. It has three necessary Ss that can mke any story interesting. It is Simple, it has Sense of humor, and it is Sad. Well done.

What the hell is going on this board?

Re: # 52
NB,
Thanks, I owe you one. The next time you feel like beating up on somebody here, yell my name!
Go to go now; let's see how the ladies settle the identity issue.
And do check out my profile, from day one I've been condemning these ever-changing nicknames and insisting on the truth.
:)

Hina bibi,
just keep writing and don't mind the riff raff here at chowk ... part of the course I am afraid
MBA is a reasonable individual who, for some bizarre reason, seems to have taken a stand of sorts here ... which I find perplexing too
as for Tahir sahib ... he is an old timer here and with time you'll discover more, and perhaps will have an ability to formulate a stance of your own on the subject unless that has already occurred!)
take care and good luck with future writing ventures, both here at Chowk and elsewhere

Hina, MBA is Mont Blanc Alps, and she is certainly not Tahir unkil. I suspect she got banned (why exactly? but it happens all the time) and opened a new account. There are many, many multinickers on chowk to the point that I occasionally suspect that there are only about 4 people here with a 1000 nicks, but this is not one of those cases!

Re: nkh
Hina Sajid khan,
what message are you conveying by this very short storey?
This is a narration which revolves around events based on tea. "Tea" itself is one of the main characters of the story, besides a very pompous Lahori boy of 26 years of age. The story also gives you a glimpse of everyday life in Lahore being in your 20's.
No noble message nkh, just the fact that life itself can change in an instant. The choices we make can lead to different outcomes. But in this story, tea itself is kind of acting like fate.
Just a different idea to make an everyday object a main character.
:)

MBA and Uncle.
Such a foolish person you are.
1) The time of joining of MBA is very recent (after the whole RANDOM arguments of uncle). Coincidence? I think not.
2) Of course, idiot, it would show me as the last visitor since I did the digging. Tsk tsk. Not very smart are we.
Anyway, I think it is useless to have any kind of discussions with uncle and his side kick.
Therefore from now onwards, welcome to my ignore list (unless i feel it absolutely MANDATORY to correct you).
Enjoy your own tiny fan club. :)
Take care!

Just by clicking on someone's profile does not make the visitor the same person! What warped logic!
Now heeeeeere's Lucy!
---------------------------
Some might call me "inconsistent" for my impulsive behavior...some might call it insanity...
..enjoy charcoal sketching, music...photography...found myself finally becoming an Economic Analyst.
I wanted to become a doctor.....an architect...an undergraduate study in Economics & Management.
Then off I went for a Masters in Economics.
---------------------------------
And then she WENT off!

OK I help you. Can’t you see post #28 was filtered and blocked? And it later appeared as post #32? Now I understand why sensible people write it as CHOWQ.
Tahir, you must have wondered who is new ID defending quality writing. Sorry for disappointment, there are not many on your chowq.
