well it's time to lose all the precious jewels we had and embrace "stones" cause the music era we know is about to end, or may be having it's last breath. starting with nusrat fateh ali khan sb. rahat is doing well to keep his name in light. gone are the days of reshma and abida parveen and vice versa.

the standards have changed,we love "trash music" now and it's awesome to most of us !!! singers, I don't know if we should call them singers, anyways, when you hear songs like "kuttay" and "mahia", makes you wonder who is the retard among you,the listener or the singer !!!

15-20 years on we will be reading "great singer (Annie) died who became famous with her hit song "mahia" ... but no one will mention a spoiled girl who wanted to be a star, with one of the worst voice you can ever imagine !!! but hey who cares !!! bling bling !!!

the era of ghazal or solo singers is gone. it's all about bands !!! after vital signs and junoon, we never really produced anything good, most is trash, some is ultra trash, then there are couple who somehow got thru the border and are singing to indian tunes. we lost adnan sami cause we hardly respect the talent till it's gone. good for him.

talent like amir zaki was fully wasted. I always believed he is the best when it comes to modern music in pakistan.brian of junoon showed everyone how bass guitar should sound like but depression got to him finally and he went back & I don't want to go over the punjabi music in movies and on stage, if I was hitler I would have ordered my firing squad to shoot them all.

I miss nustrat fateh ali, he was getting to put some sense into our musicians but his time here was cut short.

R.I.P Classical Music.
