Political Slogans in Pakistan

Some non MQM slogans,

MQM should bring more brethren from India ( Bihar,UP, Bengal and Assam)...I think, miserable muslas should taste the fruit, their last prophet ( Muhammed Ali Jinnah) brought for them....

the "local" slogans for parties are totally different from the mainstream parties.

There is one which really is my first memory of "religious hatred", was a slogan of some sunni party in gujarkhan.

Ofcourse. Just the idea that except in the dreams of our FO spokesman, the real world is not too keen to let us have another province. But I am open to enlightenment. Please do so if you have any practical ideas; even a slight realistic hope would do (I am not a fan of Taliban taking over India).

By the way do you know that our FO is sharply divided over this one? On strict ethnic lines. With the Sindhis and Baluchis not caring too much about Kashmir. I remember asking an ambassador this very question and referreing him to SU's Professor Nizamani's "Ethnic dimensions of Pakistan's Foreign Policy" in this regard. He dodged the question; and on tea when I persisted said, baita is tarah kay sawalat nahi poocha kartay! Its a sad fact but its there, more than you would like to think.

and you wont believe it, a little while back I was told by a 'loyal' karachiite, "log to yunhi baatain banatay hain, ab to karachi ki shaamain bhi Paris jaisee ho gaeen hain"! :P
