You kids missed a lot because you were born late.

Samnadar (Abid Ali and Abid Kashmiri alongwith serial were rage.)

Waaris and that Chaudhary Hashmat Khan.

Sona-Chandi

Intezaar FarmaiN (I think this was the name) with that vagabound Zaidi (Athar shah khan)

Fifty Fifty

Stage Show by that Karachi University professor (Mahtaab Jinnah/Channa?)who was shown the door on Zia'a order because she refused to cover her head on show. She used to wear beautiful sarees, looked 'BhaiNgi' (some fault in eyes) but laughter was with absolute abandon.
and so on.

A nice remeberance of the bygone, however, I would call it a too generalized opinion deduced from personal prefernces.

A correction though, the play mentioned at number 6 was NOT 'uroosa aur mehrun nisa', but 'SITARA AUR MEHERUN-NISA'. Urossa was altogether a different play based upon the novel 'Uroosa', that was a PTV Karachi production in 1992 and which introduced Adnan Siddiqui and Mishi Khan on tv.
