yikes....just read that back and it is not clear.

SPOILER WARNING

In the end John Abraham at the last minute has a change of heart and does not carry out the bombing. But he drops his mobile phone and is shot dead by the FBI who think it is a bomb, and they shoot Katrina Kaif's character dead as well.

"One of the bad things was that it is terrorist apologia"

+++++

I have seen the film and would say that that is certainly one perspective that can be taken.

WARNING: SPOILERS!!

The main storyline resolves itself as John Abraham's character becomes a terrorist after being tortured following 9/11. At the last minute he changes his mind and does not carry out the bombing, but is shot dead by the FBI along with Katrina who mistake his mobile phone for a bomb.

However.....even before Gitmo, before George Bush, the WTC was bombed in 1993 and of course in 9/11. So what was the impetus for that? The movie is all too predictably silent on the matter.

I've heard both good and bad things about the film. One of the bad things was that it is terrorist apologia. You haven't said anything in the review that reassures me on that score.
You're also a lot kinder to Katrina than most reviewers have been.

sufia ajaz: " All Muslims were portrayed as terrorists."

perhaps it would have been good if the taliban had actually overrun islamabad and given drawing room anti-america pro-"muslims" like you the thrashing individuals like you badly need in order to help you to stop lying.

"Today it is Muslims, tomorrow you, day after them, and then… Think. Put a stop to this simmering fire. Stop the TORTURE. Stop it"

++++++

OK, OK, we get it. In case you hadn't noticed, America voted someone in who was voted on a manifesto of doing precisely that.

Now, any chance of addressing the other side? The propagation and support for the ideology within Islam that justifies, apolgises for and perpetuates jihadi terrorism in the first place?

Hmmmm....let me guess your answer.
