Guru, without going too much into depth, I agree that the "respect" is over-rated in the subcontinent.

"FYI muslais are much more civilised than the chinks and this means chinks of all types cept Burmese, Tibetans, Manipuris, Arunachalese and Tripurese. Koreans, Vietnamese, Thais, Japs, Indonesians, Cambodians, Filipinos, Nagas, Mizos are less civilised than monkeys while the Sinos take the cake."
Sanatani gandu Mamu,
Kya cheenione Tumhari Bhi gaand Mari?
Burmese, Thais, Combodian, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Chinese, in that order, are much more civilized than Papis.
Hinduism practiced in India is mostly Buddhism & Jainism. India should stop Haj subsidies and give subsidized facilities for Budhist pilgrimage for people from Mangolia to Indonesia.
Mamu G, stop the noise of your Arabi gudgudi and open up to the reality. http://www.buddhanet.net/masters/u-ba-khin.htm
Most north Indians are culturally brutalized by Islamist gaandus. Old gandu mamus like sanatani attended madarassas.
I predict in next 50-60 years America will be more Buddhist-dharmic country. Already people are searching the real cause of Yogi Jesus and his organizing Sangham which later morphed into paulian romanized armed legion called Christianity. Mo of Arabia created something more deadly and brutal than romans.

Sanatani bhai,
Ok tell us the alternative to partition. If in India with a 14% muslim minority you cannot live in peace how would you propose to do the same with a 40% muslim minority
That is a good point and no one either from the Right or Left or Centre seems to have a clue.
Regards

Look at Riaz Haq. What separates us is Islam and the same Islam has made them an enemy of ours.

Kaure "Kashmir problem is also an incompetency and stupidity of Nehru" Also of the Hindu Samaj which made him its great leader after the Sardar died. The greater fundamental issue being of course a society that rejected Savarkar and adopted Gandhi.

Gandhi signifies The begining of the end of the Hindu Samaj

Kashmir, IMO, was a 'land grab' and that's all there is to it, like Texas, New Mexico, California and many other instances worldwide are , throughout history. It is Pak's failure to accept the status quo that has led to this dangerous state of affairs that threatens to devour Pak itself. I'm always reminded of the film "Animal Farm" when i think of events in South Asia!.

Re: # 304 NKG..... Why you indians do not behave with humility. Why always all blistering and name calling and vitrus diatribe, nothing didatic in your writing, etc. It is due to lack respects to adults taught in India and even in IIT from which you and many claim to have gone. ( who knows truth whether amny indians to some name sake colleges in town or village without water and elctricity0, some nondescript engg school or medical school started by some local political scoundral in his own name or some corroupt politician). All Indian are with no riwaj, adab etc all crudeness with overdose of arrogence and lack of ethos of Khandan. We here always say old and our superior as Yes sir, madam etc and never address in first name.
Now you can visit prof. R.Haq website and look at his resume, he does not live in like your self in India but he lives california which like Vilayat in America which fools.
of idiots , arrogents and and half educated pehalvans and many just know english and not much other. How many Indians who can stand up to prof Haq in knowledge, experience as prof, easeacher, contribution of tech and reserch. Not many.
You can disagree with him due to his strong bought with "india Phobia" but you also suffer "Pakistan Phobia".
Let you be nice and polite.
But indians will not follow simple common decency will start call names as Mad madani etc.
I am going in peace and withou malice even after your profane way addressing Prof. R. Haq, you go in peace and wish you good gentleman ethos , good day.

Satya...
Mr. TruthSeeker,
There is no point going into confrontation with Chinkus...They are bit aggresive towards India, but they are civilised nation....If India would have engaged with China in the matter of Tibet, rather than providing shelter to Dalai Lama, we could have avoided lot of uncomfortable situations....That was the greatest diplomatic mistake, India committed....Otherwise, there was no conflict of Interest between India and China. If Chinkus forgot the bloody nose they got from British India during opium war, there is no other issue which can create animosity between Chinkus and Indians....
Now, if you are a big country and find India at your neighbourhood, there is no way, you should resist the temptation of bullying India...
A country with 1/4th of the population arabized/islamised and hell bent on destructing value system of this 5000 year old civilization and eager to adopt slavery to barbaric beduins from far away place....enganged in destruction of local civilization....etc.
The main source of problem for India is Islam and not China....And if Indians would have identified that and engaged in cleaning up this mess long before, with the help of Brits, we would have been in better place. If you place any country (other than China), it would have exploited the presence of two semi-arabia in our east (BD) and west(Pakistan) in far bigger scale than current level....

"This statement is beneath contempt, You are a blathering idiot. This shows you do not know your asshole from your mouth and I am sure you would be interachanging the function very often."
Sanatani Gandu Mamu,
I am not into reading books. But I like your my kind of response. It makes me little younger.
Today the kids who are dieing in Iraq & Afghanistan are mostly Hispanic, African Americans and poor whites. My two 10th grader boys studied Vietnam war just as you BA (Hon.) gaandus do, that is through books.
I doubt about the lines in front of Harvard, MIT, Stanford as you say. America was very different then. These institutes were not that competitive then to get in and the opportunities for fresh graduates were not many. George Bush was a draft dodger. White trash Clinton dodged it because of his academic success. Even in 60s they had to impose draft so that poor kids can be sent to Vietnam. What our dear Mad Sad Arabi says about elite has some truth.
Tum sala bahut old book padhake idhar gaand masti karta hain.
Indians should know Europe is on demise demographically, technically and economically. America is browning and also economically becoming a Pacefic country very fast. Indians better stop gaand masti (Macaulaid BA (hon.) talking about bhaichara, composite dialog etc) with Papilandis. Theat energy needs to be spent on ASEAN and China. China can be tamed by showing your sharp teeth as well as Civil Society contacts. But Papilandis are hopeless... a paki friend just told me that their Kargil dialog guy (some Naik) was murdered few days back.

China is following, what the imperialists followed in 18th/19th century...Brute anexesation of land and it's resources in the neighbourhood or elsewhere to sustain low technology growth. India should be careful about China. In it's present avatar, China will not angage with India directly. Instead, they will unleash their pet dog Pakistan to inflict maximum damage to India. So far, Pakistan is proved to be very loyal dog to Chinkus, though it is not saving kicks and whips from NATO. But, Pakistan has no other way to survive either.....
India should be careful about China and need not be that aggressive like China....
India created diplomatic environment to promote H H Dalai Lama, and India is very much successful, so far....and there goes the Chinku a** burning.....The more importance H H Dalai Lama gets, Chinku pet dog (Paki army and jihadis) will try to be more active against India....

Re: # 291
I see a lot China envy in your comments.
In recent history, Tienanmen Square was the scene of the Chinese government crackdown by the units of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) against mass students protests in 1989.
Since the death of Chairman Mao and passing of the leadership to late Deng Xiaoping in 1980s, the Chinese communist party has pursued liberalizing the nation's economy without political liberalization, in the same way other East Asians did earlier. Such a strategy has allowed them to pursue rapid industrialization with accelerated economic growth over the last two decades, while forcefully controlling the chaos on the streets, to lift a record number people out of poverty.
China's large neighbor India has failed to use a period of high economic growth to lift tens of millions of people out of poverty, falling far short of China’s record in protecting its population from the ravages of chronic hunger, United Nations officials said recently. Last year, British Development Minister Alexander contrasted the rapid growth in China with India's economic success - highlighting government figures that showed the number of poor people had dropped in the one-party communist state by 70% since 1990 but had risen in the world's biggest democracy by 5%.
