Don't wander; just return to the basics and have faith.
Do the thing that is required and leave the doctors, the test labs, and the pharmaceutical companies to their devices.

The trick that they usually employ is this one.
The women's groups come up with a load of hocus-pocus that makes men out to be better treated than women, or that they are far more abusive than is currently recognised. They base these lies on virtually anything that they can get their hands on.
Air will do.
Their feminist cronies in the media wet themselves with delight and publish the falsehoods with large headlines accompanied by exaggerated tales of female misery and woe.
The public is outraged. The politicians are blackmailed (literally) into supporting their malicious causes both vocally and with funding. If they refuse, they are publicly and vociferously castigated as being closet supporters of violence against women and child abuse etc.
In the meantime, the men's groups have no funding to test or to counteract the 'research' and they do not have very much access to willing accomplices in the mainstream media. So there is no protest, and no public outrage at the feminist lies.

Statistics show that in the UK ( where the study was done ), an equal number of
men die of prostate cancer! But it is unfortunate that little is being done to
proportionately increase its awareness or early diagnosis. Health care funding
for male causes is proportionately far less than the prevalence of the disease.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/low/health/351518.stm
" more men died of cancer than women in 1998 - there were 37,150 deaths from
cancer in men under 75 compared to 30,387 in women " ....
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/low/health/663688.stm
Womens groups are admittedly very powerful and influential, and its no surprise
to see even males, asking for support (high profile ) breast cancer awareness :)
Another example of the result of brainwashing : It is amazing how many people think Women are the 'Worst' sufferers in Afghanistan, when it is clear that many many more men are killed routinely there, without a tear shed for them. While whenever a Women is violated, the blood begins to boil. Womens groups have powerful apparatus used for propaganda.
This must be result of years of BRAINWASHING. Much brainwashing is carried out by the media. The reportage of rape, for eg., is so extensive, that the public is lead to believe that rape is so widespread, and that false convictions do not exist!
Let us remember prostate cancer ( and other male/female ) cancers too!
WAKE UP, LAZY MALES! SPEAK UP!

Amna, its no longer the case now. Check out matturwa women these days. :p
On a serious note though, this problem can be tackled if we start getting students become aware of it in some sort of medical awareness classes especially for all-girls schools. But what can be done in a country where sala they think that outlines of reproductive organs in textbooks (and not the actual colour pictures) can kharaab the ikhlaaqs of young people who may have watched porn on the net a thousand times more! :|

Cancer is disease of Old age ?
There may be some connection between what is eaten and drink and breathe. It may be possible due close inbreeding as emperical data given by Author about some jews. Also as rule pakistan women heavier( by 2 stons ?) than average indian, lanka or BD women. Generally high animal fat diets are considered good. Recently feeling being fat woman means whole life she has carry too much burden can be stressing.
I wonder this disease can be caused by stress.
Some Doctor friend once said practically all men developed some cancer in urinary or near there only most are saved as they do not live to 90 yeas old. Is it true ?
Good day

Important article and provides some important information that needs to be known more widely. The article should receive wider circulation in Pakistan to raise awareness (perhaps you should send it to the Pakistan TV stations who have programs on health).

A study at WV University last year concluded that immigrants from India and Pakistan, making up about 1.5 percent of the U.S. population, experience a better survival rate from cancer compared with the non-Hispanic white U.S. population.
It may have something to do with earlier diagnosis because of their higher economic status and greater access to healthcare.

Thank you Laleen. I had absolutely no idea.
I believe you were spot on with the "lack of awareness" bit:
"Ignorance plays a big role in the too-late-to-be-effective diagnosis of breast cancer in Pakistan. Here, if you go for a routine mammogram/breast sonogram, people look at you strangely and even the receptionist asks you why you’re there and if you have cancer "
Among the other problems inflicting our nation, "Jahaalat" stands right at the top and this is not just restricted to those who did not have a chance to go to school, if you know what I mean.
Thanks once again. I'm sharing.

Re: # 1
or maybe it is directly proportional to size. I knew it even before i read it, that punjab would dominate.
