Asadi sahib, thanks for sticking your 'surahi-dar gardun' for me but let me assure (not in chaste German) to Tah-Med 'batees' that I have never applied for a German visa, leave alone ever lived there.

Chowk staff please take note of the personal ad hominem in Tahmed's post. Tahir's application for a German visa does not reveal hypocrisy, the US stance of talking democracy but promoting military dictatorship in Pakistan does....

Out of those "20%" Americans and Europeans, a tiny one percent appropriate more than half of the wealth give or take. In the US just over 4000 individuals out of 304 million own half of the productive assets and their 'employees' that populate boards in the "other" half ensure that 0.001% of the US population makes decision of live and death for the over 6 billion around the globe and we have people like Anil here shouting "entrepreneurship"!

Now, THAT is the key!

The simple way of life as shown by the Prophets and as revealed by Allah is THE only way forward for humanity. The exploitive colonists have poisoned LIFE while dishing out nothing but excessive material comfort to all who can pay. It is THEY who must undo the harm done to the scarce resources of the world.
