You rightly pointed out the problems with the university-level education.
Let aside the graduation and M.Phil, even Ph.D. thesis in Pakistan are sold and bought at rates ranging from 10000 to 20000 and now that professors have cowed HEC into removing the 50 percent GRE test-score limit, it's all the more easier to earn(read buy) a Ph.D. degree without much fiasco.
