Macbeth you have a good point here. It is extremely difficult to define true love. In marriage at least one has the mechanism to form a lasting bond with someone, and if one is lucky that would be true love. Not all marriages are full of Love, but marriage is the best mechanism through which the love can be cultivated.

just read ur interacts with Taji .I found them very interesting. I don't know what ur views are on matrimony or so but abt this 'extra-marital' affairs and impressions that since marriage is boring one has to borrow romance from outside. Hmmmm I was kind of looking the other side of this love affair of the charaters,'they thought they clicked ,they were in love, both were happy' but what happened? their love melted soon. So there is no such thing as true love either! in marriage u atleast stuk with one person for sure!

I have just tried to read an article by promod( its on the front page) and it was really torture going through it due to verbosity and usage of uncommon vocabulary.
I think among the recent writers, taji is easily the best as she can present her views in clear and readable manner without compromising on her expression.

Some time people confuse even once i was that now ruling family of India and old mohatma are not related. Even Bigot is ok but elite is not good as peon of west was unfortunately he got some bad heart attack he use think too much being elite.
You can be elite but elite also requires something which you have which arrogence and contempt for pakistani and you want Indian movies want to become assimilated and steam roll us as Wanabi Indians in west as you are shy to call yourself Pakistani. As you criticise me for we are not same as Indian race but different race in thinking eating etc. But you still not ready to move away from india only situation is this eliteness will go way when India is outof site then after 50 years out of mind and finally we all will be dead I hope not k. Now Jinnah was real elite he was way above awam and he had pride not as belonging to Indian race. He dress different , eat and drink different things and was good in english. To become elite you should be sofisticated with good english and and should have arrogence and contempt for average opinion. Now people like Kennedis, Bhuttos and Gandhis type people can be elites who do not need money but are breed as stateman and statewomen cultivated as rulers and leaders. Now real elites never will read this type of papers they have no time for these trivial things. Real elite will never go to west , they just go for knowing world or for change and as added qualifications. Real elite never does job like poor people.
So please do not call yourself elite and overestimate yourself. Sorry but you can not be elite. I wish you good luck. Please you can make money and work hard but elite is different than what you think yourself as an Elite.

could you discuss your writerly intent in making all the conversations b/n the female characters straightforward and without pretense, nastiness and manipulation? the contrast of those conversations and the ones with fahad are striking. i've drawn my own conclusions, but am interested in your comments.
