Some quotes
Though the exact number of missing soldiers was yet to be confirmed, security officials put the number at 156.
However, tribal sources claimed that the number of security personnel held hostage was about 205, including 105 regular troops and 100 personnel of the Frontier Corps. A colonel, three majors and some captains were among the personnel seized by militants.

Re: # 40 oh i have been reading most of the news items.
some soldiers were captured, they were not 200. and None of the Talibans were freed. If you disagree, tell me the name of any Taliban commander who was freed. On the contrary most of the swati Taliban leaders had been killed in Swat operation. i am sure this was very disappointing for most of you indians.

Re: # 36 Also quote me one example, just one would do, where Talibans were freed for hostages. I think you been watching too many movies, or maybe your geography is so messed up that you think something that happened in somalia was actually in pakistan? May i suggest brushing up on a little bit of reality?

Re: # 36 the radio mullah was Fazallulah who was killed in Army operation in swat. The one killed in drone attack was Baitullah, he never had any radio channel.
So, once again , you are making yourself look stupid, by quoting self made facts. You have no clue whatsoever, none of you have ever been to pakistan , so go ahead and enlighten us with more of your misinformation. Tell a pakistani more about pakistan, because you obviously know more right?

fooling the yanks
the pakis have perfected the art of fooling the yanks. They have sent a few troops to waziristan, funnily enough, they say that they have captured the jihadi leaders. We all know what happened in the past, the jihadis will kidnap a few soldiers and all of the jihadis will be set free.
The paki army is not fighting any one in waziristan, it is just a charade. In the mean time a few attacks are carried out by the jihadis who have infiltrated the army.
The real jihadis of pakistan are safe and no one is hunting them except the predators operated by the yanks. For years together the radio mullah spread his message and the paki army and all of the paki scientist declared that they have no technology to suppress the broadcasts. the radio mullah held press conferences and no paki army knew where he was. finally it was predator which got him.
Once again it is time for the yanks to realise the truth,
pak army motto is "jihad in the name of god" and they can never attack the jihadis, they share the same religious doctrine.

It is a colossal IF.
Who will bell the cat?
We are a nation where to join the ruling elite an individual has to prove first that he is a super-thief.
Badabing, badabang, badaboom.

Re: # 31 lol, Punjabi Army, right!, do you know how many chief's of the Amy have been punjabi in last 20 years? The major fighting force in FATA is made up of FC which is recruited from the locals.
You knowledge of the pakistani army and the situation in pakistan almost seems non-existen, or you just like to blabber BS either way, go suck a pickle.

The truth is that the Punjabi army will never fight the Taliban. A few weeks after the present mock fight, the Punjabi army will declare victory over the taliban and claim billions of Dollars as bakhsheesh from the gora saabs which the stupid saabs will give.
These dollars will be used for threatening India militarily and funding further terror acts in India.
Pakistan wants to keep the pot boiling in Afghanistan and it will never agree to a peaceful agreement with India, so nothing should be expected from this so called war on terror in the frontier provinces.

Re: # 25 you have one major correction to make. They are not our people, they are insurgents funded by india. so yes there will be more "success".
As a matter of fact, we pakistanis don't understand how can you mock someone with "islam" almost all of the pakistanis i know are pretty proud of being "muslim" otherwise they would have converted to something else by now if your mockery was working . but hey keep trying eh!
