I read your article but what actually happens in the end? Do you believe or don`t you ? I would like to know. What is the inevitable. Are you refering to death or eternal punishment ? Kindly clarify.

RE: Ashem ``...we have a strange relationship, my creator and I ...``.

YA HOO YA HOO DUM A DUM YA HOO

Have I ever thanked God for each day,
That I can move,
To fill my lungs with air,
to see, to hear,
to be finely tuned?

The trees so beautiful ...
Shelter birds,
Whoever seeks to rest.
They lift their branches skyward,
As if to be blessed.
Their Creator, their Source of life,
Upon which they depend.
And so we too,
As every creature knows deep down,
The pull of that great love comprehend.

The intangible that links us
When so long ago ordained,
To be part of God`s plan in this age.
To follow His example,
To be an instrument of grace,
To love when it`s not easy,
To overcome our weakness, our frailties.

To have that mantle
Which means to turn the other cheek!
To bite our tongues
To observe golden silence
And not to shriek!
This means that nucleus
Is the Humanity -
But no shadow cast but a great Light
And love and joy and peace!
And so this renewing
This turning right around
Ensures a balance and no confusion
But a mind that is sound.

With these thoughts,
My Life can then begin anew.
No stress, no imbalance
But simply God within!

It is the reconciling love,
The reconciling love!
It is the grace that we speak,
The life that we speak to those
We reach out to and love.

It is the contented of heart,
The gentle of heart,
Enriching all that we see and touch.
The purity of heart, cleanness of hands, Delivery, healing - His life in us.
Such power in His words,
In His path all wisdom.
His glory will surely abound!
The will of God, divine and eternal -
Heart of peace standing on Holy Ground!

The awesome love of God beckons us:
Child know My thoughts and My mind;
My compassions and mercies never fade - Knowing I bring understanding you`ll find. Apprehended for now - created for holiness, Infilled with My spirit of grace.
Your highest good - My perfect plan -
Daily I set in its place.
My glory cloud and fire, indwell in you - Awesome glory - you have yet to see.
But - all is on time,
All is established -
All is surrendered to Me.

And then ...
Will such worship echo the paradise,
Such glories bathed in great light.
The glories of paradise one cannot imagine, His love, His children`s delight.

Behold! You too shall overcome
By saying grace in His name.
Transformed by the holy character showing - You surely shall never the same!

And so as you stand
Daily forgiving and establishing
My Great Love.
I will be watching and tenderly caring,
Assuring My welcome ``Well Done``!!

Eid Mobarak, Ashem!

Good to see you back. This is a lovely piece and I am happy you allowed us to hang it in space.

Going back to the article, I found it thought provoking and as I understand it you are saying that our relationship with the creator is based on our emotional vulnerability. When we `feel` strong and discover our ego, we walk off on to our adventures, but come back into the fold with old age and infirmity. We are such children and our curiosity leads us astray from the path specified by the creator. The idea in a lot of children`s stories eg.,Peter Rabbit, Peter Pan and many more.

There is repentance and regret and a desire to become Good in His image....

Beautifully written piece. It`s poetry. Love the imagery. However, I fail to see something which, obviously, you intended to convey. Where is the relationship? I mean with the Almighty? Is it just a subjective feeling that inspired you produce this gem of writing, and that perhaps I cannot readily feel it because I don`t share your subjectivity, or did I really miss something? Do I need to take Remedial English Reading 101?
