Re: Temperoal

I agree with your last paragraph and I am thinking the same; Nawaz Sharif is involved in this business, as a guilty party, because by his inactions in the matter, he is ispo facto condoning the murder of Hakim Said. One does not need to pull the trigger to commit a crime and the smart ones, who have others do their dirty work, always get away with murder ! It is called plausible deniability and it works ! !

I think Chowk will make me a poem fan yet.
A very moving topic written with the tone of sadness and despair that many of us feel. I am sure the anger that is within all of us also comes through but is dampered by our own feeling of helplessness in the face of these random violent acts.

Ras:

A fine effort marred by an unnecessary reference to Mir. Mir & Hakims were poles apart.

Amir-ul-ChorDaku a.k.a. Mian Sahib presiding over his party`s Central Working Committee yesterday AGAIN asked MQM to hand over Haklim`s killers.

Is it just me who wonders?

Let`s recall recent happenings:

--PML bags a ``huge`` majority with one of the least percentage of popular votes cast.

--he moves swiftly to clip President`s wings

--shovels draconian laws down Awam`s throats

almost without deliberation

--gets rid of the President to put his beard on the

Presidency (Or is it Abbaji`s)?

--Maneauvers the Chief Justice out of the Supreme Court.

--Sends packing the Army Chief and replaces him with his own man ( a la Bhutto Sr.)?

--And with all this power, rightfully or wrongfully concentrated in him is APPEALING/BEGGING MQM to hand over the alleged six men wanted in Hakim`s murder investigation.

I wonder why he can`t order a nationwide manhunt to arrest those men? Is he involved in Hakim`s murder too? Or is he using this excuse to divert people`s attention from Pakistan`s deteriorating economy and other serious woes?

wondering aloud,

temporal
