What Constitutes Blasphemy?

First of all, I am Moid, not sir or Madam (why care about my gender, when we are not discussing something romantic?). Regarding mark of respect, I suppose it is a remnant of British imperialism, even now nobody says sir or madam.

I am not going into the debate whether Mohammed infact ordered some killings because of some blashphemey. History can be interpreted (read `distorted`) as one likes to believe. And such debate is usually useless. But I am surprised that on one hand it is said that Mohammed was such a soft-hearted person that he once went to ask about an old woman who used to throw garbage on his way, when he found out that she was ill. On the other hand, when blood-thirsty intentions are to be served, another cruel and blood-thirsty picture of Mohammad is painted (read ur last reply). Again, as I said earlier, distortion/interpretation of history, as one likes.

So the question arises what should be the premise of such debates, if history is to be set aside? My fried, Barrister Amir, would stick to his guns of interpreting Islam the way it is `interpreted` from history and Quran. Even Quran is interpreted the way one likes. No wonder why we have so many sects. Tell me one thing, what will ur Khilafat do with so many sects? Kill them all until one sect of ur liking remains? What if some person has different opinion from that of the so-called Khalifah? No wonder why Khilafat ran out of its logical age in 1924. I think it outlived it a bit more. There is no point in blaming English for that.

History and Quran should better be left to a common persons to interpret, without any central and dictatorship leadership to impose their version on others. If Quran is for all human beings than no one should be worried about its misinterpretation by any person. As far as state laws are concerned, they should be secular and impartial towards any religion.

If you are a barrister, then name one civilised country (not Sudan, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia type barabric countrues), in which the penalty of insult is physical punishment, much less than death. Such criminals are asked to pay as penalty, publicly apologise, or serve jail terms. That`s all. You have named ``italy, russia, israel, philiphines``. Please minus the last 3 countries (their human rights records are perhaps worst than Saudi Arabia). I dont want to discuss them. Yes, can u be specific about Italy? And can u name one country in the west (the main `Islamic foes` like UK, USA, France, etc?)

Lastly, I have not called Mohammad a `pathological liar``. Read my answer carefully. There is no need to suffer more from `persecution syndrome`. What I wanted to say that any statement (like Islam) if true, is independent of who has made that statement.

Even the Mohammad did not castigat people in his life who vilified against him (this so, when he was in power and full control). Well, gone are the days when a law is inrepreted and applied, without questioning its benefits and rationale. This is where human evolution has brought all of us. Any islamic law, no matter when it originated, has to prove its rationale before being applied anywhere in this world. May be, in obsurantist and dictatorial countries like Saudi Arabia and Sudan (even Iran, despite headed by obscurantist is out of this class), the ruling class may make it an excuse to strengthen its rule on poor people. But elsewhere, people are more rational then ever. And all this because of the fact that we have more control over many dangers threatening our existence. So the fear has subsided, and hence the blind hold of religion.

Let the discussion take its original course--that is, What constitutes Blashpemey

To say something against a person, who has no opportunity to defend himself/herself is morally wrong. Yes, we can always attack his/her ideas and opinions, to any extent possible. This should be the premise to discuss further on this issue. If someone as some other opinion on it than please come forward and attack this premise.

Moving on, people who belive in Islam should not have nay problem if Islam`s main tenets are attacked with reasons. This can not be attributed as blashpemey.

What happened in NWFP is unfortunate in the sense that a letter castigating a dead person (without reasons) was published. What happened against such publication, with the state`s connivance is equally, if not more, condemnable. Any person vilifying some other, will have to made responsible to the society for his words. This is enough reason for every person in the society to act responsibly.

The extermist and obscurantist parties usually thrive on the `persecution syndrome` of the people they claim to represent. And this sort of violent incidents would just help them widen their enrollments.

If Islam is the most peaceful religion, then reasonable discussion on anything non-violent should be the only resort. The wrting and publication of the letter, blashphemosu, as it may be, was a non-violent act. Violence against such acts just indicate the weakening founding pillars.

Indeed, the greatest affliction suffered by the Ummah, after the demise of the Khilafah, is her rulers. They are the ones standing as an obstruction between her and her deliverance from the humiliation in which she lives. They are the puppets planted by the Kaafir to keep vigilant guard over his interests. They are the true protectors of the Jewish entity. They are the executioners employed by the Kaafir to prevent the Ummah from returning to live on the basis of the Sharia rules under the shade of the Khilafah. Thus, the Muslim rulers are continuing day and night to foil any movement, by which the Ummah desires to rid herself from the humiliation, and free herself from the Kufr, and to return to Jihaad. They feel no shame for their hypocrisy towards the Ummah and nor do they have any hesitation in disgracing her, so as to carry out in the best manner possible, what their master, the disbelieving colonialist has entrusted them with. No sooner did the Ummah move and her Islamic emotions were shaken and she displayed her deep-rooted Islamic concepts, and began to show her readiness for Jihaad and she declared the obligation to be rid of her rulers. No sooner did she do that, then the rulers started to contact their masters, and they made arrangements to control this movement of the Ummah. Therefore, they held conspiratorial conferences in Sharm ash-Shaykh and Cairo. Amongst themselves they exchanged roles to achieve the common goal, which is to conspire against the Ummah, trying to thwart her blessed movement. Thus, the ruler of Egypt - which is the most influential state in the Islamic world - considers Jihaad to be madness and the ruler of Iraq is calling for Jihaad but the blood of the Muslims on his hand, since he came to power, has not dried yet. The ruler of Jordan, which shares the longest geographical borders with Palestine, considers cutting relations with the Jews and abolishing the peace process as defeat. As for the ruler of Yemen he was the first one to rush towards calling for war but as soon as the American destroyer in the Port of Aden was bombed he appeared like a frightened slave who did not know how to regain the affections of his master. The petro-rulers in Kuwait, the Gulf and in other places consider cutting the oil supply to Kuffaar as incitement of the industrial world against the Muslims and damaging to the world economy. The rulers of Saudi Arabia have stated this more than once.

As for the position of the rulers of Kuwait it was expressed by the foreign minister on his way to the summit, as Kuwait`s representative. He said: ‘I believe that it is not in the interests of the Arab world to cut off the petrol supplies now, because we will go more hungry than others.’ Why did he not consider hunger when the rulers of Kuwait financed, with billions of dollars, the war between Muslims in Iraq and Iran? And why did he not consider hunger when they agreed to lower the price of oil, realising the interest of the American consumer? And why does he not consider hunger while our assets in America and Britain are subject to confiscation, nationalisation or freezing at any instant? These contradictory positions which revolve according to the interest of the Kaafir, whether it is the American or British, are the best evidence to show the extent of the submission of those rulers to the orders of the disbeliever. Allah (swt) spoke the truth when He said:

‘O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Awliyaa (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Awliyaa to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Awliyaa, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zaalimun (wrongdoers). The petro-rulers, who include the rulers of Kuwait, were not content just to take the position of onlookers at the killing and spilling of Muslim blood, and defiling of its sanctities at the hands of the Jews, nor to be silent over America`s support of the Jews, and not stop the supply of oil to the Kuffaar. Rather, by the mere talk by the media of using oil as weapon against those showing support to the Jews, at the head of which is America, they ran to make statements pacifying the markets of the disbelieving states. They feared that their silence with regards to cutting off oil supplies to the markets of America, Britain and other kufr states would cause world economic collapse. This position is described by our rulers as being reasonable! In reality it only indicates disgrace, weakness and subservience to the Kaafir. This is because in contrast to these humiliating positions from our rulers we find Kuffaar passing unjust laws to impose economic sanctions on Muslim peoples and causing the spread of hunger in Sudan, Libya, Iraq, Iran and other countries, and treating them with ruthlessness.

O Muslims!

Indeed, what the Muslims rulers do not have, is the courage to act, because of their betrayal of the Ummah and subservience to Kuffaar, the righteous Khaleefah will not hesitate for a moment from acting. This is because he will be elected by the Ummah, his presence depends on her and his power, is derived from Allah and from her (the Ummah). This is because he is pledged by the Ummah to work according to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw).

The righteous Khilafah will be established in the Ummah when the Ummah helps Allah i.e. His Deen and works with earnest to make the Sharia the judge. He (swt) said:

‘O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.’[47:7]

We pray to Allah (swt) that this blessed movement, in the Ummah`s rejection of her bad situation and her treacherous rulers may be a prelude to realising the victory, which Allah (swt) promised to the believers in His saying:

‘As for the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).’[30:47]

O Muslims!:

Just now you have displayed your awareness of the treachery of your rulers and your comprehension of the radical solution to the Jewish entity, which is but Jihaad. You have shown that there is no rescue for you from this humiliation, unless you free yourselves from your puppet rulers. Thus, it is obligatory on you now, to incite the people of honour, sincerity and Imaan from the people of power to remove any one of the Muslim rulers and establish the righteous Khilafah, which Allah has ordered you to establish. This is possible to achieve now directly. This is the only thing, which will take you out of this situation. He (saw) said: ‘The Imaam is a shield behind which the Muslims fight and seek protection.’ So that the Ummah may embark through Jihaad to uproot the Jewish entity from Palestine and remove the remaining Muslim rulers and unite the Ummah under the banner of one Khaleefah, to remove from her the humiliation and disgrace, and let her enjoy the honour and dignity, and live under the mercy of the Sharia rules.

He (swt) said:

‘Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along him said, “When (will come) the Help of Allah?” Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allah is near!’[2:214]

On Saturday 23/12/2000 the round of negotiations that started on Tuesday 19/12/2000 in the Bolling air base near Washington came to an end. The negotiations were held between an official delegation of Jews representing the Jewish entity in Palestine and a Palestinian delegation from their assistants representing the so-called Palestinian Authority. There was an American participation represented by the attendance of the foreign secretary Albright and the envoy Dennis Ross and by meeting the American president Bill Clinton twice in the White House.

Upon the return of the delegations back to Palestine, Yaasir Abd Rabbuh – one of the Palestinian delegates - stated on Sunday 24/12/2000 to the reporters: ‘We have received American proposals put forward by the American president Bill Clinton. These proposals deal with all the issues proposed on the agenda for the final settlement. It seems that these proposals aim to fill the gap between the two positions, which will lead to the achievement of a final agreement.’

In this manner, the result of what took place in Washington was the announcement re the American plan, which all sides waited for, day after day, following the outbreak of the Intifadah. It was for the purpose of carrying through this plan that the Intifadah was ignited and pure Muslim blood was spilt daily for three consecutive months on the land of Palestine, by the action of the Jews who ‘amongst people have the greatest enmity towards those who believe’ with the complicity of Arafat and America.

As for the formalities of the negotiations which took place in Washington between the delegations and the American administration, it is more akin to a style of presentation rather than to be a style of negotiation to reach a solution. This is because the solution to what they call ‘the fundamental issues’ are: security of the Jewish state, al-Quds, refugees, settlements, territories, borders and the Palestinian state, were all the subject of extensive negotiations in Camp David and afterwards. The solution was completed and its details and last minute adjustments were set out in the secret negotiations held in Europe and Arab capitals and inside occupied Palestine. That is contrary to what Arafat and his cronies intentionally publicised, that the negotiations with the Jews had stopped after the outbreak of the Intifadah, when they actually did not stop. Since they became involved in the path of treachery and conspiracy, they used the style of secrecy and lying. i.e. the work in the darkness and concealing the facts and deceiving those who suffer in the fire of their treachery. Even though the reports of the secret negotiations have spread far and wide and are known by everyone, in Cairo, Tel Aviv, Paris and London, they decided to absolutely deny them and appeared as if they are the only ones who do not know about them to the exclusion of the rest of the people. When these talks matured and Barak used a different approach in rallying the Jews behind him, America instructed the sides to resume the negotiations. She artificially implied the urgency under the pretext that Clinton will leave the White House to a new president on 20/1/2001. Thus Ross held a meeting with Arafat in Morocco on 12/12/00 and personally handed to him the same plan which his delegation brought to the last negotiation. As well, Clinton phoned Barak and they both agreed to quickly pursue the necessary arrangements to conclude the great deal which will put an end to the Palestinian issue for an indefinite period!!

The style of presentation in this time practically, has great importance so as to succeed in bypassing the Intifadah and slaughtering it, in order to carry through the great betrayal, the betrayal of the century. What took place a few days ago in Washington in terms of the open and formal negotiations was a fatal stab to the Intifadah in the back. This indicates that the criminals had realised their political aim of inciting it and they began a new phase in settling the issue of the Muslims in Palestine and strengthening the Jewish entity over it. Thus, the current political actions and their results have passed the Intifadah, and it is now history, however long it takes to come to an end. That is why the acts of killing have intensified and sacrifice has increased. It has ended politically though it continues in reality. Often the political decisions precede material actions in the world of politics and war.

This is not the only Intifadah they conspired against. They also conspired against the Intifadah of 9/12/1986 which they used to enter the Madrid conference in 1991 and then to Oslo in 1993, and from there to the series of conspiracies till this day. Today they are using the Intifadah of 28/9/2000 to implement the solutions which came out of Camp David, specifically for the settlement of the Palestinian issue! Instead of that the rulers of the Muslims -whether Arab or non-Arab - take the Intifadah as the starting point to uproot the Jewish entity, they use it as a tool to strengthen the Jewish entity and support Arafat and his cronies to realise this objective!

In this manner, five months have elapsed since the ominous Camp David conference. And after three months of the daily spilling of pure Muslim blood on the land of Palestine. And after placing the people of Palestine in an unbearable situation of despair, suppression and bereavement, to make them accept the surrender of their rights by Arafat in the conference. And after he and his cronies had marketed the treacherous concessions in which he was helped by the rulers of the Muslims (more specifically the Arab rulers) through their media and tools of deception, at the head of which is the great broker of America and the Jews: Husni Mubarak. After all this he was able - as drawn out for him - to rally together the official Palestinian public opinion and the Arab and Islamic public opinion behind him. This appeared from the dangerous resolutions taken by the Arab and Islamic conferences and by the Al-Quds Committee in the few past months. In this manner he faithfully executed his role in order to see through what had been agreed in Camp David and afterwards. As for Barak he was not able to rally the Jewish public opinion behind him, through forming a national coalition government with the Likud. Despite his repeated attempts, for more than three months, he was unable to contain Sharon who insisted on exercising his right to veto any decision taken by Barak in the coalition government, including what he approved in Camp David. Due to this obstinacy from Sharon, Barak decided to resort to addressing the Jewish people directly, in order to take a vote of confidence from them, and rally them behind him. He submitted his resignation requesting new elections to realise this objective. That is why the following was mentioned in his resignation letter: ‘In view of the state of emergency in the country and the need to limit the violence and advance the chances of the peace negotiations, I have taken the decision to ask, for the second time, the confidence of the people of Israel.’ He also stated on television during the ceremony of handing over the resignation that he resigned: ‘to give the country a true referendum over the peace process.’ This was also alluded to by Ben Ami in his statement: ‘Any agreement with the Palestinians will be put forward for the approval of the people whether via elections, referendums or perhaps both.’ Thus, the resignation of Barak is a way of getting the consent of the Jewish people directly concerning his proposals without the need of a national coalition government. Especially, since he is certain that he will succeed in the elections because of his sure knowledge that the Jews are close to achieving the peace plans which will realise their interests. As for the political manoeuvres between Labor, Likud, and other parties and organisations, they are all efforts necessitated by their political system, while all are intent on hunting the prey: Palestine and its people, each of them following their own way. These manoeuvres will not effect the suspension of the interests of the Jewish people which are reflected in the secure life in the heart of the Islamic world, under the protection of the Arab rulers and by urging the Palestinian people to protect them and guard them through the so-called Palestinian state. Hence we see Likud, which is described as right wing, rendering service to Barak and strengthening him, without reaching the point of stopping him. Rather it is pushing ahead with the negotiations even more quickly. This is what Barak pointed to when he said: ‘Indeed, the political situation in Israel will never change the highest duty of the government of Israel.’

As for America, she has prepared her plan which she announced for the first time. She prepared it in no hurry and began to get it ready seriously after the end of the Camp David conference last July, i.e. after she had become deeply familiarised with the final position of all sides. Just as she consulted afterwards all those in the world who were concerned with this issue: in Europe, the Islamic world and the Arab region. At the same time she placed the Jews in a situation of fear, terror, insecurity and instability. As well she placed the Muslims in a state of suppression and bereavement which would make them more likely to accept her plan than to reject it. And now we see that America has seen that the conditions are favourable and that the possibility of success is greater than the possibility of failure, so she has requested the sides to put forward their views regarding the plan, according to her claim! There are no visible obstacles at the present moment which will prevent its execution neither locally nor internationally. Unless the Muslims inside and outside Palestine reject it, against the will of their traitorous rulers. Those rulers have participated in this solution especially the issue of surrendering al-Quds and the holy sites as mentioned in the summits. Internationally, the role of Europe, which includes Britain, complemented the American role regarding what they called the peace process and they did not put any obstacles in front of the execution of this plan and the plans which came before in the region regarding this matter. This is the secret behind the great progress achieved by America in settling the Palestinian issue.

As for the planned solution it has not been announced in an official manner. However the greatest part of its outlines is apparent. It is to declare the end of the state of war with the Jews and sign a peace treaty with them. It is the birth of a disfigured state (Palestinian state) whose first task will be to protect the Jewish entity, eliminate the sincere people and pursue anyone who is tempted to shake this entity, and to be a signatory to the surrender of 80% of the land of Palestine to the Jews, and not demand in the future any kind of rights. Muslims will not have sovereignty over the area of al-Quds precinct and consent only to the religious affairs committees’ supervision of its daily administration and to recognise the Jewish relationship with this region. To surrender west Jerusalem and give them some parts of East Jerusalem. The settlement of refugees outside Palestine with the symbolic return of some of them. And international presence on the crossing points between Egypt and Jordan and the stationing of international forces in the valley of Jordan. And the presence of a mechanism to implement the plan via the security council and to issue a resolution through it.

O Muslims: We call you to reject this extremely dangerous treacherous plan. We call you to challenge the will of the traitorous rulers who have abandoned the Muslims and encourage America, the head of Kufr, to announce it with a desire to see its implementation. We call you to prevent Arafat and his cronies from accepting the plan and strengthening the Jewish entity and protecting the interests of the Jews, America, the Kaafir west in the land of Israa (night journey) and Mi’raaj (ascension) (of the Prophet [saw]). On Saturday 23/12/2000 the round of negotiations that started on Tuesday 19/12/2000 in the Bolling air base near Washington came to an end. The negotiations were held between an official delegation of Jews representing the Jewish entity in Palestine and a Palestinian delegation from their assistants representing the so-called Palestinian Authority. There was an American participation represented by the attendance of the foreign secretary Albright and the envoy Dennis Ross and by meeting the American president Bill Clinton twice in the White House.

Upon the return of the delegations back to Palestine, Yaasir Abd Rabbuh – one of the Palestinian delegates - stated on Sunday 24/12/2000 to the reporters: ‘We have received American proposals put forward by the American president Bill Clinton. These proposals deal with all the issues proposed on the agenda for the final settlement. It seems that these proposals aim to fill the gap between the two positions, which will lead to the achievement of a final agreement.’

In this manner, the result of what took place in Washington was the announcement re the American plan, which all sides waited for, day after day, following the outbreak of the Intifadah. It was for the purpose of carrying through this plan that the Intifadah was ignited and pure Muslim blood was spilt daily for three consecutive months on the land of Palestine, by the action of the Jews who ‘amongst people have the greatest enmity towards those who believe’ with the complicity of Arafat and America.

As for the formalities of the negotiations which took place in Washington between the delegations and the American administration, it is more akin to a style of presentation rather than to be a style of negotiation to reach a solution. This is because the solution to what they call ‘the fundamental issues’ are: security of the Jewish state, al-Quds, refugees, settlements, territories, borders and the Palestinian state, were all the subject of extensive negotiations in Camp David and afterwards. The solution was completed and its details and last minute adjustments were set out in the secret negotiations held in Europe and Arab capitals and inside occupied Palestine. That is contrary to what Arafat and his cronies intentionally publicised, that the negotiations with the Jews had stopped after the outbreak of the Intifadah, when they actually did not stop. Since they became involved in the path of treachery and conspiracy, they used the style of secrecy and lying. i.e. the work in the darkness and concealing the facts and deceiving those who suffer in the fire of their treachery. Even though the reports of the secret negotiations have spread far and wide and are known by everyone, in Cairo, Tel Aviv, Paris and London, they decided to absolutely deny them and appeared as if they are the only ones who do not know about them to the exclusion of the rest of the people. When these talks matured and Barak used a different approach in rallying the Jews behind him, America instructed the sides to resume the negotiations. She artificially implied the urgency under the pretext that Clinton will leave the White House to a new president on 20/1/2001. Thus Ross held a meeting with Arafat in Morocco on 12/12/00 and personally handed to him the same plan which his delegation brought to the last negotiation. As well, Clinton phoned Barak and they both agreed to quickly pursue the necessary arrangements to conclude the great deal which will put an end to the Palestinian issue for an indefinite period!!

The style of presentation in this time practically, has great importance so as to succeed in bypassing the Intifadah and slaughtering it, in order to carry through the great betrayal, the betrayal of the century. What took place a few days ago in Washington in terms of the open and formal negotiations was a fatal stab to the Intifadah in the back. This indicates that the criminals had realised their political aim of inciting it and they began a new phase in settling the issue of the Muslims in Palestine and strengthening the Jewish entity over it. Thus, the current political actions and their results have passed the Intifadah, and it is now history, however long it takes to come to an end. That is why the acts of killing have intensified and sacrifice has increased. It has ended politically though it continues in reality. Often the political decisions precede material actions in the world of politics and war.

This is not the only Intifadah they conspired against. They also conspired against the Intifadah of 9/12/1986 which they used to enter the Madrid conference in 1991 and then to Oslo in 1993, and from there to the series of conspiracies till this day. Today they are using the Intifadah of 28/9/2000 to implement the solutions which came out of Camp David, specifically for the settlement of the Palestinian issue! Instead of that the rulers of the Muslims -whether Arab or non-Arab - take the Intifadah as the starting point to uproot the Jewish entity, they use it as a tool to strengthen the Jewish entity and support Arafat and his cronies to realise this objective!

In this manner, five months have elapsed since the ominous Camp David conference. And after three months of the daily spilling of pure Muslim blood on the land of Palestine. And after placing the people of Palestine in an unbearable situation of despair, suppression and bereavement, to make them accept the surrender of their rights by Arafat in the conference. And after he and his cronies had marketed the treacherous concessions in which he was helped by the rulers of the Muslims (more specifically the Arab rulers) through their media and tools of deception, at the head of which is the great broker of America and the Jews: Husni Mubarak. After all this he was able - as drawn out for him - to rally together the official Palestinian public opinion and the Arab and Islamic public opinion behind him. This appeared from the dangerous resolutions taken by the Arab and Islamic conferences and by the Al-Quds Committee in the few past months. In this manner he faithfully executed his role in order to see through what had been agreed in Camp David and afterwards. As for Barak he was not able to rally the Jewish public opinion behind him, through forming a national coalition government with the Likud. Despite his repeated attempts, for more than three months, he was unable to contain Sharon who insisted on exercising his right to veto any decision taken by Barak in the coalition government, including what he approved in Camp David. Due to this obstinacy from Sharon, Barak decided to resort to addressing the Jewish people directly, in order to take a vote of confidence from them, and rally them behind him. He submitted his resignation requesting new elections to realise this objective. That is why the following was mentioned in his resignation letter: ‘In view of the state of emergency in the country and the need to limit the violence and advance the chances of the peace negotiations, I have taken the decision to ask, for the second time, the confidence of the people of Israel.’ He also stated on television during the ceremony of handing over the resignation that he resigned: ‘to give the country a true referendum over the peace process.’ This was also alluded to by Ben Ami in his statement: ‘Any agreement with the Palestinians will be put forward for the approval of the people whether via elections, referendums or perhaps both.’ Thus, the resignation of Barak is a way of getting the consent of the Jewish people directly concerning his proposals without the need of a national coalition government. Especially, since he is certain that he will succeed in the elections because of his sure knowledge that the Jews are close to achieving the peace plans which will realise their interests. As for the political manoeuvres between Labor, Likud, and other parties and organisations, they are all efforts necessitated by their political system, while all are intent on hunting the prey: Palestine and its people, each of them following their own way. These manoeuvres will not effect the suspension of the interests of the Jewish people which are reflected in the secure life in the heart of the Islamic world, under the protection of the Arab rulers and by urging the Palestinian people to protect them and guard them through the so-called Palestinian state. Hence we see Likud, which is described as right wing, rendering service to Barak and strengthening him, without reaching the point of stopping him. Rather it is pushing ahead with the negotiations even more quickly. This is what Barak pointed to when he said: ‘Indeed, the political situation in Israel will never change the highest duty of the government of Israel.’

As for America, she has prepared her plan which she announced for the first time. She prepared it in no hurry and began to get it ready seriously after the end of the Camp David conference last July, i.e. after she had become deeply familiarised with the final position of all sides. Just as she consulted afterwards all those in the world who were concerned with this issue: in Europe, the Islamic world and the Arab region. At the same time she placed the Jews in a situation of fear, terror, insecurity and instability. As well she placed the Muslims in a state of suppression and bereavement which would make them more likely to accept her plan than to reject it. And now we see that America has seen that the conditions are favourable and that the possibility of success is greater than the possibility of failure, so she has requested the sides to put forward their views regarding the plan, according to her claim! There are no visible obstacles at the present moment which will prevent its execution neither locally nor internationally. Unless the Muslims inside and outside Palestine reject it, against the will of their traitorous rulers. Those rulers have participated in this solution especially the issue of surrendering al-Quds and the holy sites as mentioned in the summits. Internationally, the role of Europe, which includes Britain, complemented the American role regarding what they called the peace process and they did not put any obstacles in front of the execution of this plan and the plans which came before in the region regarding this matter. This is the secret behind the great progress achieved by America in settling the Palestinian issue.

As for the planned solution it has not been announced in an official manner. However the greatest part of its outlines is apparent. It is to declare the end of the state of war with the Jews and sign a peace treaty with them. It is the birth of a disfigured state (Palestinian state) whose first task will be to protect the Jewish entity, eliminate the sincere people and pursue anyone who is tempted to shake this entity, and to be a signatory to the surrender of 80% of the land of Palestine to the Jews, and not demand in the future any kind of rights. Muslims will not have sovereignty over the area of al-Quds precinct and consent only to the religious affairs committees’ supervision of its daily administration and to recognise the Jewish relationship with this region. To surrender west Jerusalem and give them some parts of East Jerusalem. The settlement of refugees outside Palestine with the symbolic return of some of them. And international presence on the crossing points between Egypt and Jordan and the stationing of international forces in the valley of Jordan. And the presence of a mechanism to implement the plan via the security council and to issue a resolution through it.

O Muslims: We call you to reject this extremely dangerous treacherous plan. We call you to challenge the will of the traitorous rulers who have abandoned the Muslims and encourage America, the head of Kufr, to announce it with a desire to see its implementation. We call you to prevent Arafat and his cronies from accepting the plan and strengthening the Jewish entity and protecting the interests of the Jews, America, the Kaafir west in the land of Israa (night journey) and Mi’raaj (ascension) (of the Prophet [saw]). He (swt) said: ‘O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Awliya (friends, protectors) they are but Awliya to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as awliya, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (wrongdoers)’ [5:51] And He (swt) said: ‘So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you are the superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.’ [3:139]

hence yes as muslims we hate the jews, they had slaughtered and killed the prophets of Allah (as transmitted to us via verses of the quran), they are cursed by Allah (mentioned again in the quran)

and that how ``shame is pitched upon them like a tent``! (ayah of quran)



however when it comes to ruling the jews, we may dislike them, but are obliged to treat them justly.

hence as you rightly pointed out muslims treated the non muslims citizens throughout the ages with justice and dignity. to the extend as you highlited, after the spanish inquisition jews came to the capital of the islamic khilafah in instanbul, where they found greater justice then anywhere else in the world, or on how the cristians of the middle east fought along with the muslims against their fellow cristian brethen from europe (crusaders) who came to ransack the muslim lands. why becuase they prefered living under the justice and tranquility of the islamic khilafah, that the barbaric injustice of european cristians!

even Mohhammed saws is narrated to have said

``the one who harms a dhimmi (none muslim citizen of the islamic state) it will be as if he harmed me`` (ie the rasool saws).

the none muslims not only loved and aspired to live in the tranquility of the islamic khilafah, but many through its justice beauty and intelectual strength embraced islam.

during the time of the khilafah of Ali r.a (the 4th khailfah)

one jew had stolen his shield.

Ali took the jew to court. the judge asked ali r.a what is the proof the shield belongs to you? Ali r.a replied my son is my witness. The judge replied. your son is not viable witness , as he could be biased, therefore i award the shiled to the jewish person.

the jew was so shocked abd overwhemed at the justice of the islamic judicicial system, where even, the head of state was not above the law, that he embraced islam their and then on the spot. then was giving the shield back to Ali r.a. but Ali r.a said to the ex jew take the shield as a gift from me.

compare this to the brutallity of the capitalistic nations where the head of state is immune from prosecution, and is above the law!

But I ask the question when you refer to who are pakistans true friends,

Who do you refer to, when you say pakistan ?

Do you refer to the leadership of successive tyranically imposed secular governments? who have reigned over pakistan!, or the masses who love and adore islam.

Granted for the secular minority or rather the agnostic, atheist minority , and the capitalist ideological fanatics. Their true friends are the capitislat nations, including the usa (which places its hegemony over the world for “USA VITAL INTERESTS ALONE”

Followed by israel which is famous for its secular, humane, just and peaceful brotherly treatment of the native muslim palestinians, whom they have forcefully colonised!!!!

But for the vast majoirty of muslims, including many in the inteligensia (including myself)

The true freinds of pakistan and muslims is not saudi arabia (which is not based upon islam but a tribal barbabric regime riddled with nepotism) nor taleban (a proxy authority like azad kashmir run by islamabad).

But is islam and those who adhere to islam.

I say the masses because the masses unlike the ruling elite love islam. Is it any surprise musharuf (a known secularist) went to umrah, to try and pacify and beguile the masses, after he was exposed as being a secularist and kamalist. (see pak friday times article on the occassion of this event). He did not do this action to appease the islamic organisations, who exposed and highligted his treachourous philosophy. Rather because he feared the views of the masses who still love islam, and aspire for pakistan to be a truly islamic state.

Sadly today there is no islamic state and sincere muslim leadership which can defend the muslims, give justice to humanity, and carry the beauty of islam to the world.

But pray do not fret, as sincere islamic movements like hizb ut tahrir are working sincerelly and tirelessly ( now so in pakistan too) to revive this noble and glorious ummah, and give it the blessings of the islamic civilisation. which will liberate humanity form the evils of capitalism and secularism.

Please define ?

Is it a secular muslim who cosniders islam incapable of delivering viable, just, progressive, sustainable governence ?

If so then such a premise is incorrect as islam by its very nature is applicable for all times.

I have posted a leafet below published by Hizb ut tahir, about Uzbekistan.

Where the present tyranical (self appointed and tyranical ruler of uzkeisten) has failed to show an ideological alternative to the islamic soltions provided by hizb ut tahrir.

The masses alhamdullilah, due to their intelectual prowess (incedently uzbek have over 95% literacy) have rejected karimov and want the khilafah.

Further karimov on failing to show an ideological alternative has resorted (as often is the case when there is weakness in intelectual strength ) to resort to physical persecution of members of hizb ut tahrir their families and supporters and for those working for the khilafah.

Al`Jazeera Satellite channel mentioned in one of her news reports that the number of workers for the Islamic Khilafah in Central Asia is around 15 million. Al`Waie Magazine also mentioned in Sha`ban 1421 issue that the total number of Muslim prisoners who are members or supporters to Hizb-ut-Tahrir in Uzbekistan are more than 40 thousand

Hizb ut-Tahrir is well known througout the world to be non militant. and do not use armed struggle/ civil war as a method to re estasblish the islamic state khilafah. this is because from our detailed research (ijtihad) of the sources of islamic law. there is no legal basis, for such an endevour.

On the 6th of April 2000, Karimov, the President of Uzbekistan, gathered together the well known intellectuals of his country from the writers, poets, historians, correspondents, mosque Imams, psychologists, the educated and scholars in society and those qualified in ideological matters. In this meeting he gave a long speech which was broadcast on all television channels in Uzbekistan. The following are some excerpts:

``We have said many times before that we are fighting thought with thought and creed with creed. However, do we have a creed which can take the place of the false creeds that we are fighting? We have to acknowledge that up until now we have not prepared such a creed or ideology. Any state or society which does not have this is doomed to failure. There are many issues which I am not able to reveal to you. For example: If the state in Uzbekistan collapses then the whole of Central Asia will collapse. For this reason Uzbekistan has become a target for intervention and foreign intellectual struggle. How is it that we see Hizb-ut-Tahrir filling the society with its ideology and especially when we know that the Wahhabis and Hizb-ut-Tahrir are mere puppets in the hands of others?`` ``This is why I request you to create, as soon as possible, a national ideological creed, or an idea of this type which suits our characteristics and is able to face their ideology. You have been entrusted with this task before but the result was of no avail. This time I will provide whatever is necessary: time and financial support. But the results now should not be as before``.

This is a word for word translation of his expressions. The rest of his speech was full of defeated and contradictory expressions. He is saying that he fights thought with thought. Then he says he does not possess thought.

The truth of the matter is that he fights thought with arrests, brutal torture, killing and harsh sentences. Hizb-ut-Tahrir has not undertaken any assassination attempts or acts of violence. It only undertakes the carrying of the Islamic Call via the intellectual and political method. Thus, Karimov has carried out a campaign of arrests that has included more than 4,000 people from Hizb-ut-Tahrir and thousands more from the rest of the Muslims. A large number of those arrested have been martyred under the torture of Karimov`s accomplices. Others have been sentenced by his unjust courts for periods reaching 20 years. This harshness of Karimov comes from his origins as a disbelieving Jew. The Jews are the most severest of people in enmity to Islam and the Muslims.

Karimov`s regime is not the only regime which is empty and hollow and not based on an ideology or thought. Rather, all the existing regimes in the Islamic world including those in Central Asia are hollow. The creed of the people in the Islamic world is the Islamic creed and the creed of Islam is one from which a system emanates organising all affairs of the people. And this system is the only correct system for the world because it is from Allah (swt). And every attempt to separate the creed from the system or to mix and patch together different creeds and systems is a consequence of shallow thinking and its outcome is failure.

Hizb-ut-Tahrir did not bring together all the thinkers so that they may create a creed, ideology or thought for them. Hizb-ut-Tahrir carries to the people the Islamic creed and thoughts which Allah (swt) revealed. The people of Uzbekistan are Muslims and they stick to the Islamic creed and thoughts. This is what will suit them. That is why they are in harmony with Hizb-ut-Tahrir in its work to establish the Khilafah, resume the Islamic way of life, unite the Islamic lands under the flag of one Khaleefah and carry the Message of Islam to the world.

America had noticed that Islam was spreading in Central Asia. Thus she feared for her influence and ambitions there. She feared for her culture and herself due to the rise of Islam which she saw not as a mercy to her but as an affliction on her. That is why she and all the kufr states call it terrorism and are holding conferences and draw up plans to fight it.

Before Karimov`s meeting with the intellectuals a visit with secret objectives was undertaken by the director of the CIA George Tenet to Tashkent. At the same time George Tenet had undertaken a public visit to Georgia, Khazakstan on the 26th and 27th of March 2000. The Tashkent talks concentrated on the international fight against terrorism which has been led by America.

This visit was based on the report of (Stevens) the head of the department specialised in Russian and the independent republics affairs who stated in the report: `That Central Asia is facing danger due to Muslim Terrorists` according to his claim.

Therefore it is likely that it was the CIA director who requested Karimov to hold a meeting and put down a creed for the state as part of a wider plan whose drawing up and implementation is supervised by America in order to strengthen her hold over the region. Otherwise, the Muslims will seize authority in Uzbekistan and the rest of central Asia.

The American secretary of state Madeleine Albright quickly made an official visit to Uzbekistan, Khazakstan and Kyrgyzstan. She promised to allocate $10 million dollars for the training of Uzbek units especially to fight terrorism and protect the borders with Afghanistan. She also warned the government of Uzbekistan against oppressing all religious Muslim civilians because that would strengthen those advocating `terrorism`. She called upon Uzbekistan to subdue the `extremists` and those calling to `terrorism` only. She also invited Uzbekistan to participate in a conference that is to be held in Washington next June to fight terrorism in Central Asia.

No sooner had Albright`s visit to Uzbekistan come to an end than the President of China Jiang Zemin whilst visiting Ankara agreed with the Turkish president Demirel, and Prime Minister Ecevit that the two sides will combat with force `all types of international terrorism, separatist

tendencies and extremist religious forces`. It is worth mentioning that the area of Xinjiang (East Turkestan) is inhabited by a Muslim majority from the Igor who are working for independence from China and a return to their Islamic identity. China has undertaken suppressive and brutal operations against them and accuses them of fundamentalism and now is seeking help from Turkey against them, knowing full well that the Igor lands are in Central Asia and border Khazakstan.

O Muslims in Uzbekistan: Karimov was a communist. And when Communism fell he became an agent of Russia. Then, America enticed him and he became her agent. He is trying, with guidance from America, to formulate a creed and charter for the state which is other than the creed and charter of Islam. So do not allow them to do this. Protect your Islam and Allah (swt) will protect you.

O Muslims wherever you are: America and other kufr states have made Islam the number one enemy, especially after the fall of Communism. And they have begun to depict the complete Islam which will rule all affairs of life and look after the affairs of people as fundamentalism and terrorism. They have started to fight Islam explicitly under the name of terrorism. And their agents from the rulers of the Muslim lands are implementing the plans of these disbelieving states and suppressing those calling to Islam under the slogan of fighting terrorism. But, do not fear them and be strong and firm in facing them and be with Allah (swt) who will destroy the tyrants.

Allah (swt) says: ``If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm`` [47:7]

now as for your second point.

the khilafah, is an obligation. and the name of the term was given to us by Mohhamed saws in numous hadith you can find in the sihah (the 6 classical collections of sahih hadith)

Muslim reported on the authority of Abu Hazim, who said: ``I accompanied Abu Hurairah for five years and heard him talking of the Prophet`s saying: The Prophets ruled over the children of Israel, whenever a Prophet died another Prophet succeeded him, but there will be no Prophet after me. There will be Khulafa`a and they will number many. They asked: What then do you order us? He said: Fulfil the bay`ah to them one after the other and give them their due. Surely Allah will ask them about what He entrusted them with.``

Also Abu Said al-Khudri narrated that the Prophet said: ``If a pledge is taken to two Khaleefahs, kill the latter one.`` (ONLY ONE KHALIFAH AT A TIME BEING PERMIITTED FOR ALL MUSLIMS)

``O you who believe! Obey Allah, obey the Messenger and the rulers from amongst you, and if you disagree on a matter then return it (for judgement) to Allah and the Messenger if you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day.`` [TMQ 4:59] -(imam abu hanifa rm and iamma shafi rm say that the rulers here refer to the khhulafa. (khalifs)

the khilafah is an islamic obligation and working for its re establishment is also an islamic obligation. as to when it will ultimatelly be re established that is in Allah`s hands alone.

whether imam mehdi comes and leads the ummah to its return and re application. we are still obliged to work for its reutrn.

let me give you and example to illustrate the point.

rizk min allah, wealth comes from Allah, as stated in the quran tmq.

however Allah has commanded that we are obliged to work for it and physically work to acquire our rizk. 9similary as to how allah has obliged to work in the islamic manner to conduct all actions and acquire all issues.

he says tmq

``Allah does not change the circumstances of any people until they have changed what is within themselves.`` [TMQ 13:11]

so for exaple a baker with 2 children. needs money to provide for his needs.

hence he is obliged to work .

he bakes bread

then goes to the market to try and sell his goods.

( he has performed all the actions that are in his control)

ultimatelly the sucess he has in selling his bread is in Allah`s hands. not his own. he could sell all of it or half or none of it. the money he acquires is fixed by Allah but he`s fulfillment of his obligation to work to acquire the money is in his hands.

hence our ability to fulfill the obligation to work to re establish the khilafah is in our hands. as to its return only Allah knows when.
