I think I am critical about mainly one stream of Indian society, and because they happen to belong to the majority community and are the ruling party at the moment or a nuisance-value Opposition at one time, I am seen as someone rubbishing the country, which is just not true. I am glad that some sane elements (frankly, Shankar, very few) see it as that. However, I have been told that I am hounded because I am emotional instead of logical. I say that I am a Muslim, and they say I ‘use’ that. They say I am always criticizing Hinduism, which I am supposed to embrace as a part of my cultural heritage.
