urstruly,
next time instead of tryng to woo me/women over email why not just send me a picture of your wrist? i promise, lust does wonders with me. much more effective...(yes i know, you have no intention of wooing me, or being my friend, or giving me good advice..you just like to email me :))
im with J. two stories. both good. you kept your audience. and i did laugh. (im so hesitant to admit to that) but i liked it..it was simple and ..sweet. (i just said simple and sweet..my god such unconstructive comments).
rizvi.

Very captivating.
Although, the thoughts and emotions are beyond my comprehension. (poor guy)
Just few things to notice.
In class fifth you are dissecting cockroack and in class 6 riding BMX (motor cycle or cycle).
Narration and style are very good.

..actually as much as i love it as a `mushy love story` and relate to it only to well as the Fozia in the story(my names Fawzia too) - one can also call it `Canada - where everyone`s landing up at in the end.` :)

Having read your earlier stories, I sat down with a Keelex box. But for a change, this time I didn`t need it. Even though it was just another stupid (and sweet) love story, you somehow know how to make each scene and image so real.. and effective.
Anyway, knowing that you have a habit of keeping your readers in suspence, i am guessing there is a second part to the story. If so, please, tell us what happens next..

Not a stupid love story; a pristine one indeed. Right from the heart.
Hope to read more literary work from you, Sami Jhalla. Your narration and painting the situation are remarkable. You took me right along when describing Potohar and Punjaban. At least we agree about the beauty of Potohar and its people.
How come almost all pakistani women have their names ending with an ``a``. They are ``A`` class certainly.

Interesting and mostly well written. The passion of juvenile crushes. It did seem to be two stories though. One, in which your wrist is the central focus. The other, a crush on a pretty teacher. I don`t think combining them worked, for me at least. Apart, they would both be even more wonderful stories.
I liked the way you captured the atmosphere and not so innocent aura of youth. I liked the part at the end, where Miss Rabia is briefly rejuvenated by her awareness of the crush. Crushes do wonders for one`s ego, huh?
I enjoyed reading this. Sorry for rambling.

Oh dude,
Sorry to hear this . . . us air force people (and families) love to torture ourselves. We are masochists yaar! we are proud masochists in love with pain.
After all your pro-islamic nonsense I was determined not to read a word of what you wrote but this story made me cry in my bloody office . . . I am crying in my own office!
Torture!
This is soo like a Pakistani boy. We all love to yearn for impossible loves . It is almost self defeatest. We escape our own happiness. This ``pure``-itanical love is the fire that has burned us all.
I recently witnessed the Pakistani woman`s version of this , which is : fall in love with a jerk who mistreats you. So that you associate bad memories with love and then end up becoming bitter and cynical : ``oh love is over rated - sex is over rated`` etc.
In other words : both sub consciously avoid love.
Lastly ``ghaday! kaan khainchooN ga agar tujh jaisa admi Islam kay gul gayay ga``

You piece was very well written. I`ve had my schoolboy crushes too. Still remember Ms. Patsy from 5th grade, the face and above all, the perfume she wore.
