Of course I expected you to notice that I called you a jehadi. And if you have been following my articles you know exactly what I think about them – they are “loving and caring” indeed :) About schizophrenia, everyone in this world is schizophrenic, only some are clinically certified.

I usually opt for the ‘damned if you do’ option, for at least then when I am supping with the devil, I know I am there after having done something. Life makes a mockery by pretending to offer many choices, when in fact it is just these two.

Here is another gem from an old film:

I assume you are referring to the “taqdeer ki gardish kya kam thi…” song. I am afraid I do not know which film it is from, except that it is circa late 50s; the singer is Lata Mangeshkar. Unfortunately, this is not among the very popular numbers, though I love it.

My family is originally from Bombay too! :)

But i have never visited. Born and brought up Karachiite Pakistani. So a bombaywali genetically and have a bombaywala attitude and humor - :)

I have allllwaaaaysss wanted to go to Bombay,

Gosh, don’t do this to me…ab tak kisi ne humein aisa nahin kaha Chowk par…As regards wanting to know more about me, this is my moment. All this while people have told me what I am, now I can speak for myself….but you would not want to take the risk of too much info…on my first big date years ago when the bloke asked me, “So tell me about yourself”, I spent three hours telling him the story of my birth, you know mother’s labour pains se leke my memories of the hospital. Seriously. I remember. Rahee baat rehne ki…I live in Bombay….I think! Most times though, I lead a gypsy-like existence. I guess you will find bits and pieces of me around as and when you see me…And then you might have second thoughts…

Chalo, jawaab do! And thanks for letting us have a run of the place with ghazals and poems…we were soooo starved…you let us feed on bards and sometimes (in my case only, okkkkkkkk?) our own bile.

Well, I now take all prophylactic measures when i come to Chowk , and my earplugs are very much in place , which has prevented my threshold from falling below sea level !

I think we will survive it , and i have a premonition quite well !looking forwards to it .

Aur aap kehtee hain key aap Bombay mein rehtee hain, `` you may not like it , are summers are not so pleasant ``.

Aap to waqai Jannat mein rehtee hain. I have always wanted to visit that bustling city .Another city to visit on my wish list is Jaipur !

Aur raha hum kahan rehtain hain .... Canada key aik koh kaaf key hisa mein jisae Victoria kehtae hain !

Hmmmm ! let me think !

Victoria has a reputation for being the city of the ``Newly Weds or the Nearly Dead``. If only the Nearly Deads would become Newly weds , then i see a possibility of the business of undertakers slowing down a bit, which would mean our medical offices staying populated , and if God continues to do the healing we can charge our fee :)

Well Rozie certainly has her timings right to start with . the :) at the end means you like this arrangement for starters , so i wish Sammy [ i assume Sami would be reduced to that !] and Rosie Happy morning encounters ! Just remember to put your best wrist forwards !
