This is not a defence of sadna.... sadna can defend herself... I am trying to defend you from yourself. :):)

From your interacts, I don`t see any danger of sadna being ``exposed`` as a bigot (except among the chowkwallahs who have already irretrievably decided that this is the case.)

However, I do see a danger to your reputation as one who reads (or even makes a sincere attempt to read) responses carefully. I can understand (it happens to all of us sometimes) if you misread/misinterpret a post the first time and make assumptions that were not implied by the author. But I am surprised that you ignore clear explanations offered in subsequent posts.

And agreeing with qalander`s distasteful remarks was just... well, distasteful.

My comment about Hindu women was a mere re-iteration of the accusations made by your own people. The truth of this matter is a different story. My contention was that: I will accept all the accusations and will take all the blame for all the historic injustices that my forefathers have done if you stop punishing and starving your ``own`` people to avenge them. Tahmed sahib, classifying Sadna and Urstruly together is a big mistake. Nowhere has Sadna called Muslims and Pakistanis names. So, I fail to see your point.

We don`t see F-K as embarrasment on Pakistan.

We have quite a few persons espousing same.

But hopefully people would start seeing in terms of issues rather than country pride more appropriately hating each other. Which as I said in another post is like justifying wrong deed commited by my brother.

There exists an interesting similarity between your personal witch/trophy hunt of myself on chowk and that of the mob baying for Pervez Masih`s blood.
At no point during this hunt do either you or the crowd discuss anything on its merits. Moreover, the prosecutor, jury and judge pronouncing sentence are all embodied in yourselves.
I can also draw an analogy with members of society trying to enforce their caste classifications on selected others.
I am happy to say, I am not in Pervez Masih`s position and will never be and that my country has outlawed the caste system.

The context is Urstruly`s accusation on the situation in India.

And rationalization that situation is not so bad (or improving)

So it was just an observation of Tu Tu Mein Mein.

That any thing coming out of Urstruly`s pen needs to be refuted.

(Although I would do the same if I am in Indian shoes for the simple reason that it is not an attempt to solve the situation but an attempt to show that you are bad and I am better).

Usually I tend to shy away these days from these discussions. But sometimes hands just itch.

Accusation and counter accusation will either strengthen our BELIEFS. Or will produce some understanding.

In my experience, some long term Jamati (Islamist) my friends are taking an active role in Social justice and some long term leftists are inclined towards religion.

While in student days we were poles apart in our thinking, propaganda and actions. It means to me those times have not been lost. We influenced each others thoughts in the long run.

My philosophy is I am ``Me`` and you are ``You``. How can I find common ground without comprising on ``Me`` and ``You``.

I have read these stories, but I must admit that I`m having a hard time believing that The Prince/King killed his own mother and father and siblings over a disagreement about whom he would marry.

It seems to much like a Bollywood movie scenario to be true, especially, among families at that cultured and refinded state as families who have been in such publicly powerful positions and who are the only Hindu royalty in the world.

It`s too tragic and too absurd. And why has he been named King? None of this makes sense.
