Ref Acheron2

would you be interested in logically debating the following 2 assertions of yours:

1)the PAF was the major reason that India was not able to subjugate(?) East Pakistan until the very end of the war.

2)were not for the PAF Lahore may well have fallen to the Indian Army

correction: #48: ``Does every offensive comment deserve a reply?``

should read

``Does every offensive comment deserve an offensive reply?

Shirin Ahmad #44: ``For some reason Adnan Sami has found more popularity in India than in Pakistan, just as Chandan Daas has amongst the Pakistani`s and not Indians !``

Since we are on the subject, did you know that Adnan Sami Khan is the son of a PAF fighter pilot. Adnan for Ashwariya is acceptable trade, not for Chandan Daas. Who is Chandan Daas, by the way?

Other famous perfomers who are children of PAF fighter pilots: Marina Khan, Junaid Jamshed.

Famous Indian Air Force kids (not 100% sure): Poonam Dhillon, Lara Dutta, and probably many more.

summit75 #43: ``my two friends used to have both fathers were in the airforce and navy respectively. They loved arguing over which cadets were more cuter the Pakistan airforce guys or the pakistan Navy guys.``

It is unclear from your post, whether it was your friends or their fathers arguing over the cadets. I hope for the sake of the PAF and PN cadets, it was your friends, and not their fathers. :-)

....... sometimes after you pee in your pants you get a nice warm feeling ........

....as the godfatha of rock would say :

Wo! I feel good, I knew that I wouldn`t of

I feel good, I knew that I wouldn`t of

So good, so good, I got you (cecil)

Wo! I feel nice, like sugar and spice

I feel nice, like sugar and spice

So nice, so nice, I got you (cecil)

.......... 7 of the 70 PAF officers who were awarded SJ`s in 65 and 71 were christains ...... today, i don`t think there are any christians in the PAF..... in 65 there were 8-9 ahmedi generals in the pak army ( including akhtar ali malik ) - today there are none .......

......... but i feel good because i got cecil and he hasn`t moved to canada - yet............

anarayan,

Please dont make up stuff... kindly go and buy a copy of Chuck Yeager`s biography.

Friend,

PAF is ranked in top 3 in skills along with IDF and USAF... and this ranking has been like this for a very long time.

As for Czech site, did you even consider the possibility that they took it from the PAF site?

You didnt understand it then, you will not understand it now... it shows your nazi mentality.. like BM you too suffer from pangs of Greatness.

Long Live Pakistan

friend:

And I still didnt get your point ... so PIADs copied from the Czech site (which PAF didnot, it was the other way around) but lets say it did. Does that make Chuck Yeager`s comment invalid? Did Chuck Yeager not break the sound barrier?

Chohti Chohti khushian hain Indians keee!

Anarayan,

I have checked ... there is no such portion in Yeager`s Biography... Kindly dont try to mislead the people ok?

B_M

Irfan Mian:

Why are you doing, what you are doing? If you find no qualities or challenges here on Chowk, that you may contribute to or grow from, Why are you here?

You really need to think about this. I am sure like everybody else here, you feel a need to connect with persons from both sides. Is that not challenge enough? Don`t believe me?, well, at least give it a try. If after trying you can say, well I find nothing redeeming here and among these people, OK - but at least give it try.

Cecil Chaudry is among that handful, relatively speaking, of persons who has put his life on the line. Dushmaan Ya Doost, it does not matter, because he and those like him, have done something you and I have not, and whether you think he is right or wrong, there is no point in trashing him. For a person who has put his life on the line, regardless whether Pakistani or Indian, do you think he needs your or my approval?

Consider again, you are valuable, your point of view is important, but how will we value it if you show not your intellect? Please reconsider.

Has anyone considered who has the fastest conversion rate on the F 16 A/B ? Pakistani Pilot

Air Cmdre Shahid Javed was the first one to convert on.

Why would a nation which had the fastest conversion rate use Czech Manuals? Indians seem to be suffering from hallucinations of self greatness!

AAmir # 74

A few points

1. Banning a singer is different from terrorising a person. Not that I support Sanjay Gandhi`s ban on Kishore Kumar. But cases of Daler and Kishore are not identical. However I accept your economic analysis of music industry but that again does not explain the threat part.

2. As far as Adnan Sami and his Pakistani identity is concerned, I accept he is not Pakistani because in one of the interview I read about a month back in Times of India, Adnan Sami had specifically disowned his Pakistani roots and gave his family`s history of coming from Afghanistan where one of his ansector was a Governor and then his father moving to West Asia from Pakistan and further on to England, Canada etc. Rather he questioned why he was considered a Pakistani because he was once married to a Pakistani actress.

Now this has come from a celebrity whose family had stayed in Pakistan for quite a few generations. However, you have every right to be proud of Adnan Sami as your compatriot(?) while Indians do feel pride of welcoming people with open arms.

You were again right about economics playing a part in this. But then that is the reality in today`s world.

Best of Luck
