I thought that this monomaniac will return to his shell to worship his GOD jinnah, but now this person is crossing his limits. Let me now call spade a spade, and show the dark side of his GOD.
READ THE DARK ACTS OF JINNAH, THE FATHER OF TNT
http://voi.org/books/mla/ch2.htm
Background:
``During the later months of the year 1945 and early 1946 the temper of the Muslim masses was kept up by the propaganda of hate emanating from the official pronouncements of the Muslim League, the speeches of its leaders and the unrestrained articles of the pro-League press. Muslims had everywhere in the Punjab and Bengal begin to look upon the minorities as their subjects in prospect. Provocative acts against non-Muslims by the Muslims were beginning to be frequent. By this time the police and the officials were so thoroughly saturated with the poisonous propaganda of the Muslim League against the Hindus and Sikhs, that it was not easy for a Hindu or Sikh to find a Muslim policeman or civilian impartial in his attitude where the conflict lay between a Muslim and a non-Muslim. This attitude on the part of the police was a great hardship, especially as more than 70% of the police force in the Punjab, for example, was made up of Muslims. In the people’s daily lives the police could do much to make them happy or miserable. That the police and the officialdom had gone thoroughly Muslim League was demonstrated by three successive events: The Provincial Assembly elections in the Punjab early in 1946; the Muslim League agitation against the Khizar Ministry in January-February, 1947 and the Punjab Riots which began early in March, 1947 and continued in Pakistan as late as January of 1948, till which month incidents of glaring brutality on a colossal magnitude against the Hindu and Sikh remnants of the population continued to be reported.

THIS SITE S/U/C/K/S because of this monomaniac Yaawah Latifay Hamdani. Go and s/u/c/k your Jinnah in private. This maniac considers him the GREATEST SECULARIST EVER, so what if he was the father of TNT. The GREATEST JINNAH, THE PROMOTER OF HINDU-MUSLIM UNITY, so what if he instigated his followers to start the worst communal riots in the history of the subcontinent. Worship your God/Allah Jinnah. Say the following:
``There is no God but Jinnah and YLH is his prophet.``
BY ALL MEANS WE HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH WHATEVER BS YOU BELIEVE. BUT BS AS IT IS, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. DONT TRY TO PROSELYTISE US TO YOUR VIEW. BE HAPPY IN YOUR MAKE-BELIEVE WORLD WHERE JINNAH IS THE GREATEST STATESMAN EVER. In short,
KEEP AWAY FROM US, go and sell all this BS to your fellow Pakis(stupid ones and not intelligent ones like Tahmed) who will buy it readily. Dont try to meddle with us and we will not touch your greater-than-God Jinnah

Out of so many Indians, there will always be some writing anything. There may be an Indian tomorrow writing Jinnah was an old pink woman. Will you take that as Gods word? Think of what most people say, not a few here and there.

I smell a dirty rat in Sadna`s request but I will proceed in good faith :
1) Muhammad Ali Jinnah : Quit 17th December 1947 saying that as the Governor General he could not continue to be the head of a communal organization. His Government had J N Mandal as Law Minister and had a very secular outlook.
2) Liaqat Ali Khan : Remained secular though Objectives resolution marred the secularism a little. Read Liaqat Nehru Pact for more details on Pakistan`s avowed declaration of secularism.
3) Chaudh. Khaliquzamman: President after Jinnah
Ex Congress party Worker, Joined AIML and supported the creation of Pakistan. Declared that Jinnah buried the tnt on 11th August.
4) II Chundrigar: Avowedly Secular. In Cabinets
5) Suhrawardy: Bengal Muslim League Split from the Muslim League to create Jinnah Awami Muslim League which finally transformed into Awami League.
The list can go on longer but I suggest you rather read the following books:
Pakistan in the twentieth Century By Lawrence Zirring
Pakistan Chronicle Sir James Monroe
The destruction of Pakistan`s democracy by Alan Mcgrath
State of Martial Rule by Ayesha Jalal.

Can we have an objective description of the post-Independence history of the Muslim League in Pakistan, its leaders and its legislative record wrt secularsim?
Was there a `E Bengal` wing of this party, what is its platform (and legislative history) wrt `Bangladeshi secularism` these days?

Dost-Mittar
You said it right. Thanks.
The position of minorities the same in Pakistan and India?
What can one expect from those who believe that the position of women is the same in Kabul and Los Angeles?
Doesnt surprise anyone you believe that pork eating booz drinking jinnah was the greatest human being. My dog is the bravest lion ever too.

No dostmittar you are right.. what does honor killing have to do with secularism.. that might have been the old definition...
The new definition of secularism:
Secularism: The philosophy followed by the jogis brahmacharyas, Mullahs, Imams and Bishops especially those following the true enlightened path of satyagraha and ahimsa of the one true god
Mahatma Gandhi.

Single party members? Idiotic ignorant fool, Wali Khan is Badshah Khan`s son. It is a known fact that Badshah Khan was not secular... indeed, had he lived today he would have been in the frontline of the Taliban Movement in the name of Pakhtun Nationalism. ANP is a reactionary party which uses Pathan Nationalism, and fanatical Islam interchangeably.
Pakistanis are not crying anything... Last time I checked it was an Indian sikh who wrote : `Secular and Nationalist Jinnah`
Ignoramus, Please go and read some history first!

You cant use the mistakes party members today to judge Badshah Khan. Pakistanis have been crying that despite their religious mess of their country Jinnah was secular! They cant play it both sides.

Jiye Sindh Movement:
Now that Sigalph has exposed the reality of ANP and its so called `secular` leadership which Indians consider as good as their own (though it might actually be better), let us talk of Jiye Sindh Movement.
Jiye Sindh believe it or not was led by a Power hungry megalomaniac who was trying to get some political mileage out of sindhi nationalism. Thankfully it never caught any public attention, as Sindh consistenty voted for PPP, a Pakistani Nationalist Party!
SO much for your Jiye Sindh Movement.

Sigalph,
You will appreciate ofcourse the difference between a Mob burning a Priest, and a Christian Priest killing himself?
The blasphemy law is unjust. However, to claim that India is better in anyway practically is a fallacy.
In any event, the point on ANP is very valid, and I hope GOWARDHAN sees the true face of his secular ANP and the remnants of Badshah Khan.

Sigalph,
Right on, but to people like Gowardhan who so blinded by their hatred of Pakistan, Talibanophile, Pakhtun Nationalist, Wali Khan will remain a secularist.
The truth remains: Fanatics and Fundoos amongst Muslims were in bed with the Congress Party. It was the secularists who made Pakistan, including Jinnah, Suhrawardy, etc.
You are right that Pakistan`s record is not impeccable, but when people like Gowardhan come in attacking us for being fanatical, I can tell you that is a lie!
I have never said that Pakistan is secular. I wish it were, for Jinnah`s ideal was a secular Pakistan. But let me tell you this, Sigalph, I do not wish to be a secularist to earn brownie points with Indian Bigots, who will lie and lie and lie again to prove Pakistan wrong!
Secular Democracy or Not, the minorities in Pakistan in practical terms are not any worse off than India, and that is a claim that cannot be contested. Do both Pakistan and India need to treat its minorities better? Yes... Can India claim to be the beacon of light? NO!

Sigalph 235:
The Bishop of Lahore did not commit self-immolation. He put a revolver to his head and blew his brains out in public.
Do not be a Hindu lapdog Sigalph. Pakistan is the land of the pure. Despite your genetic inferiority as a Bengali, bow before the Punjabi Mussulman. Know your place.
That is a precis of the Paki response to your reasoned, intelligent and clearsighted post.

Paki Christian Bishops shoot themselves in the head, Hindus have been exterminated like cockroaches, Ahmediyas are converted into proper Muslims by making them into Halal meat, Shia doctors are turned into sieves by the bullets of machine guns, three million mutilated Bengali souls are waiting for you in heaven.

Dada, Oriya is one of the official languages of India. At the last count there were more than 2 Crore Oriya speakers. Pakistan has only one official language, but Seraiki speakers exceed 3.5 crores.
Re ANP
What you say is right. However, their behaviour over the past few decades cannot be extrapolated to Badshah Khan. Is it fair to similarly extrapolate the buffoonery of Congress (in India) or Muslim Leage (in Pakistan) over the recent past to their leaders before independence?
