Re: Sadna
``...Didnot Musharraf say when asked about school children being blown up by jihadi bombs, `in freedom struggles, innocents suffer`?...``
Actually, he said it in New Delhi, when the leader of the ethnically-cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community asked him what Musharraf thought of their predicament.

Stuka #57,
I have faith, now more than ever. It was heart warming, for once, seeing Muslim children talk candidly about their experiences on national TV, on almost every channel, during the recent celebrity fund raiser last night.
Things like these help unify the country, instead of dividing it on hate. And it will help people considering a hate crime think before they act.

Suxena #54, ``Talk to the hand, cuz ain`t no one givin a damn for words from a hypocrite.``
Even your hand is not worth talking to. And if you don`t give a damn about my words, don`t read them. Simple as that.

Meanwhile, important news from India as reported on the front page of Times of India.
``A leopard that entered the Vidyavardhaka Engineering College in Mysore on Friday chases one of the students who tried to capture it. It injured three students.``
(Accompanied with picture of bada$$ leopard chasing skinny South Indian who was probably irritating it.)

Its in times like these that we turn to our leaders for comfort. Didnot Musharraf say when asked about school children being blown up by jihadi bombs, `in freedom struggles, innocents suffer`? Lets stop complaining and realise that Musharraf is right, that when US struggles for its freedoms, innocents will suffer. No point in wanting it all ways.

``bahr-e-zulmaat main dauRa diye ghoRey hamnay``
Ever wonder what happened to the people who were living peacefully until these conquering heroes came charging on their horses? Anyone still glorifying violent and aggressive acts in the 21st century has to be mentally retarded.

Scout:
When I gave examples of my people working, hard it was to add on to the fact that you and your family work hard as well. In this country who doesn`t.
You now bring up Israel. Well, that`s completely different from your earlier comment about Sarajevo. Look, everyone has a right to criticize. You said ``Muslim lives are not as important`` or some such. I criticized that statement because I genuinely believe that whereas foriegn policy is biased based on national interest, it is not biased on religious reasons.
The second thing I took exception to was the issue of ``no favors``. I think I adequately explained that. I can understand your feeling bitter. I can only suggest having more faith.

`Gender tests harming sex ratio`
TIMES NEWS NETWORK
ANGALORE: Decrying the practise of female foeticide, Health Minister Dr A.B. Maalaka Raddy said that each foetus regardless of its sex is precious.
He was speaking at a special programme on the girl child __Cynosure of All Eyes focussing on the Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques Act, 1994, organised by the Central Directorate of Field Publicity and St John`s National Academy of Health Sciences on Friday.
He said that modern sex determination techniques was primarily meant for knowing the well-being of the baby in the mother`s womb. ``Self realisation is the best tool for implementation of the Act since it has good intentions of checking the sex selective female foeticide. However, scientific techniques could be misused in the wrong hands with the connivance of parents harbouring desire for a male child,`` Raddy said.
Speaking on the occasion, Joint Director, Directorate of Field Publicity Archana Datta referred to the dwindling sex ratio in most states as has been revealed in the provisional figures of Census 2001. ``There is an urgent need to narrow down the gap between the provisions and actual implementation of the Act,`` Datta said.
Dr Kamini Rao, president of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India in her keynote address called for registering all ultrasound machines so that the actual intention behind the test is detected.

Asim: My previous post should read:
``The ones who lived, worked, or were in the vicinity have taken this shock far differently from the rest of the world. Please do realize it. I do not think that sitting in the west-coast or anywhere else on mother earth, you can feel the same.``
Sorry, for that. I am also under the influence of my surroundings :)

SIMI is preparing for bloodshed?
You appear to know about SIMI more than most Indians. How come?

Rsuxena #40, ``Don`t bother with her. She`s a hypocrite.``
And you`re a hypocrite because you go against the basic tenet of this country`s constitution:
All men are created equal.
You`re a hateful man, thus a hypocrite. Think about that before you claim your loyalty to this nation. We have enough hatemongers, rednecks here, we don`t need more of your kind.

Stuka #28,
The US is what it is because people like me and other Americans can criticize it and hope it changes for the better.
What`s wrong in pointing out biases in foreign policy when it`s this policy that`s caused hate and ill feelings across the world for the US?
Does my criticism of the American foreign policy have anything to do for my sadness about the recent terrorist attacks?
As far as the war against terrorism, I`m 100 percent behind the American government. No country in this world needs terrorism, it should be eliminated.
The world of politicians and analysts are questioning each other about the US`s foreign policy, so why can`t I without being labeled as `ungrateful` or a `hypocrite` by Indians on this board?
As far as your ideas that `the US doesn`t have to save the world` why is the US so bent upon saving Israel? ISn`t that country outside the US world too? What about helping Kuwait out by bombing Iraq?
The US has taken a definitive role as a world leader, there are duties to that role.
``All my cousins, we are all from proffessional/armed forces families and we all had to and still have to work hard to climb up
the socio-econmic ladder.``
And you think my family didn`t? You think success or education came to me on a platter?
``We all pay taxes and contribute.``
And my family doesn`t? I don`t? We all do. We all are. Right now, I`m slaving away for THIS country, and THIS country`s people (and I hope to do the same for Pakistan in the future). The day of the attacks on the WTC, I didn`t go home. I worked till the end, I finished my duties and tasks, because of THIS country.
Think of that before labeling me as `ungrateful.`
As far as bitterness, I am a little bitter, any person with emotions and feelings will feel bitter when their family and themselves are threatened for no reason due to racism.
But I don`t let the bitterness turn into hate, like others do. I let it go.

RE: Shah
``They call Jews and Christians the ``People of the Book`` and allow them to practice their own religions.``
How generous of you...you ``allow`` them to practice their own religions.
``Muslims abhor the followers of later prophets.``
How nice...how touching. How peace-loving.
``This attitude serves to explain the extreme Muslim animosity toward Bahais, followers of a nineteenth-century prophet, who in the Muslim mind is false.``
Again, how loving and embracing of people with diverse beliefs.
THIS IS SOME REPULSIVE $HIT
