[Muslim lives and livelihood just aren`t as precious.]

Is that why your mullahs tell your folks to go fly a plane into a skyscraper?

Does that mean the mullah himself is NOT a Muslim, since he values his own life at a higher price than that of the ordinary everyday Muslim?

Re hamidm # 2

Of course .... there must not be any distinctions at all, kill them all, all those filthy bearded men and those miserable veiled women and those no good children. They would grow up to be terrorists anyways. Better crush these serpents now.

Let us all rise and help America with her ``just cause``. The ``just cause`` that has already killed millions in Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan. But that doesn’t matter, I don’t know what a Lebanese looks like anyways. Probably has two heads. Right ??????

So lets drink up and say cheers !!!!!!

Re: Fawad:

You`ve fallen victim to the same Islamist/JI/JUI/whatever propaganda that infects so many of us. Pakistan was not created so that a faith, Islam, could have its own country. It came about so that Muslims could have their own homeland. Just as Israel was not created for Judaism but for Jews, Pakistan was not created for Islam but for Muslims while the Vatican was ``created`` for Roman Catholicism not for Catholics. There is a difference between these two points although it is easy to see how the two can be conflated if one is not careful.

``Pakistan ka mutlab kya? La illaha illallah`` is a relatively recent introduction and Mr. Jinnah, even if he could have understood it, would never have uttered it.

Regards.

[very little of this emerging scenario makes sense - hobbyty]

The great fanatical pan Islamist scholar is waiting for a chance to put the blame on terrible Jews, horrible Hindoos, and Satanic USA (which he is leeching from).

Watch how he behaves the next few months.

There is one thing to hunt an animal in the zoo ,which killing minorities means ,restrined & overnumbered AND ANOTHER THING TO KILL THE ANIMALS IN THT JUNGLE AS HUNTER.

Stuka #17, ``The Americans went in to SAVE muslims in Sarajevo. Same goes for Kosovo.``

Yes after the damage was done, to pick up the pieces, to save the `leftovers.` Glory rite?

``George Bush going to mosques to help prevent MUSLIMS being killed.``

He`s going to mosques because we`re innocent and we`re supportive of him and we are just as sad for the US as he is. No favors here.

`` The media is shouting itself hoarse saying ISLAM is not the enemy. Don`t take your revenge on Muslim Americans.``

Yes, the US needs the media to curb it`s anti-Islamic propaganda because it needs the support of Islamic countries to win it`s war against terrorism. No fuzzy feelings involved, it`s just politics. You should better.

Besides, the media did all the damage it could by shouting in more ways than one that ``Islam is the enemy, all Muslims are terrorists.``

``And you sit there in your self pity, talking about Muslims in Sarajevo and Baghdad?``

It`s not self pity, it`s reality.

``Tell me one Muslim country where Christians Jews, Hindus etc would NOT have been fair game if 5000 Muslims had been killed by ``Infidels``?``

No innocent person is ``fair game`` understand?

NONE whatsoever, whichever religion they belong to. If they are innocent, they don`t deserve to die. CASE CLOSED.

``It is the greatness of this country that it learns from its mistakes. Notice the repeated refernce to the internment of Japanese Americans, so as to prevent any harassment now.``

Yeah sure, that`s wonderful, but when the seeds of hate against Muslims have been already been planted in the average American`s mind through the media, no amount of government pleading will change them. It will take time to reverse the stereotypes.

My father, a wonderful human being who doesn`t even believe in religion, just received a bomb threat for one of his apartment buildings in NY. He had to help evacuate dozens of his developmentally disabled tenants (you see, he`s a good man, he took in these poor folks because YOUR great Americans didn`t want them in their buildings). What do you make of that?

``Your religion may provide spiritual growth, but this country allows you to fulfill your temporal needs. Be grateful.``

It`s not about my religion or your religion. I am grateful for what I have, but it didn`t come to me easily. My family and I have given back just as much to this country as it has to us.

NO FAVORS.

I know u are Sikh ,according to yourself ,YOU ARE SHAME ON YOUR COMMUNITY TO BE TALKING LIKE THAT!

ONly dogs are so loyal as to cover there masters at all cost.

harimau #18,

Muslims who have died so far haven`t been Mullahs.

They`ve been innocent normal people.

I`ve never justified the death of anyone. Why are you trying to justify the deaths of Muslims then?

......actually i can`t disagree with much of what you have to say and as someone pointed out there is really not much to bomb in afghanistan ..... the only thing that matters is that the islamists should be stopped before it is too late .... pakistan has chosen to ride a tiger and this offers an opportunity to dismount without getting mauled ........ as for the poor afghans - my heart bleeds for them, but any nation that follows a one-eyed lunatic who hasn`t been seen in five years needs some serioius therapy ...... the ``nobel savage`` myth perpetuated by silly pith-hatted orientalists and tree-hugging sillies is pure kaka ....... it is about time these savages were civilized, bathed, shaved and taught to play cricket ........

...... on a serious note, i hope that these savages don`t turn in osama - they might not be as crazy as they look ....... if they do, then pakistan has a real problem on its hands .......

Stuka #17, ``The Americans went in to SAVE muslims in Sarajevo. Same goes for Kosovo.``

Yes after the damage was done, to pick up the pieces, to save the `leftovers.` Glory rite?

Scout, would you rather that they not go at all. It is not the responsibility of the US to prevent all evil, across the world. The fact remains the US did not create the problems in Kosovo or Sarajevo, and when it did go in, it went to help. Personally, I think the US shouldn`t have gone in at all. Not our problem. But the fact remains they did, to help and not for gain, while the Europeans were complaining about costs and logistics. You are blaming the US for going late, when there was no obligation to go in the first place...

``George Bush going to mosques to help prevent MUSLIMS being killed.``

He`s going to mosques because we`re innocent and we`re supportive of him and we are just as sad for the US as he is. No favors here.

Really...no favors huh? Is the rest of the world held to as high a standard as the United States? I know that in India, (a country still much higher on the scale compared to Islamic theocracies)the media and the government went all out on the Sikhs in 1984. Innocent or not, communities in the past and the future will always be tarred by perception. Take one look at the way Central Asian Muslims are treated in Russia after the bomb blasts in Moscow. Or how the Israelis profile Israeli Arab citizens. It is the greatness of the United States that it holds itself to a higher standard.

The Media ``needs`` to do nothing. You really think the United States ``needs`` the support of any Islamic country? It can make ANY islamic country wilt in 48 hours. It is American benevelonce that introduces diplomatic niceties. You think I am being overtly generous? Compare the role of the United States with other global powers. Ex: USSR, Nazi Germany

Besides, the media did all the damage it could by shouting in more ways than one that ``Islam is the enemy, all Muslims are terrorists.``

Don`t know which media you look at. I have not seen a single report blaming Islam the religion at all. Don`t project your own biases to the media.

``And you sit there in your self pity, talking about Muslims in Sarajevo and Baghdad?``

It`s not self pity, it`s reality.

Is it your reality? Are you in Sarajevo? or Baghdad? Or do you expect the United States to pander to the world`s muslims

Oh I understand. This country, this government understands. Does the rest of the world? Or are we fair game to any psychotic fundo who wnats to take revenge for the world`s problems on me while I am at work, or in a bar?

``It is the greatness of this country that it learns from its mistakes. Notice the repeated refernce to the internment of Japanese Americans, so as to prevent any harassment now.``

Yeah sure, that`s wonderful, but when the seeds of hate against Muslims have been already been planted in the average American`s mind through the media, no amount of government pleading will change them. It will take time to reverse the stereotypes.

Is it the media that has planted the seeds of hate? Did the American people have any hate for Moslems say in the 50s or even the 70s? Tell me one corner of the world where stereotyping does not happen? And tell me One corner of the world where more efforts are undertaken to wipe out those steretypes?

My father, a wonderful human being who doesn`t even believe in religion, just received a bomb threat for one of his apartment buildings in NY. He had to help evacuate dozens of his developmentally disabled tenants (you see, he`s a good man, he took in these poor folks because YOUR great Americans didn`t want them in their buildings). What do you make of that?

What am I supposed to make of that? I am sorry it happened. You may not believe me, but I sincerely am. How does that take away from what I am saying about this country. Did you call the police? Did they take you into ``protective custody`` for your ``benefit``? See Scout, some parts of the world that may happen. Not here.

``Your religion may provide spiritual growth, but this country allows you to fulfill your temporal needs. Be grateful.``

It`s not about my religion or your religion. I am grateful for what I have, but it didn`t come to me easily. My family and I have given back just as much to this country as it has to us.

NO FAVORS.

I am sorry you think that way. I have also worked hard to get here, and worked extremely hard to set myself here. You are fortunate that you have your parents here. I don`t. I started from scratch. My brother started from scratch. All my cousins, we are all from proffessional/armed forces families and we all had to and still have to work hard to climb up the socio-econmic ladder.

We all pay taxes and contribute.

But I am grateful. Grateful for the opportunity. I could have worked just as hard in the country of my birth, and be nowhere near where I am. I am grateful that I pay my taxes, and I follow the law, and am protected by it. I am grateful that a chance accident with a politician`s son will not lead to stabbings or threats to my family. This is not a perfect country, but this is one of the few countries where I would choose to become a racial and religious minority, inspite of being part of the majority at home.

I am extremely sorry that you feel this country has done you no favors.

Hamid,

Its actually an interesting postition to be in. On one hand, terrorism is inexcusable and has no justification, and yet I have noticed how the abuses of the America have been used to justify acts of terrorism, by certain cyberjihadis. We must unequivocally denounce the linking of the two.

Has one-eyed Omar not been seen in several years? Does his third eye count, or does he refuse to use it?

As for the Taliban not giving up Osama, not quite sure what you mean. I agree its deceptive to depict Afghanis as noble savages. A cousin and I had agreed on the tragedy of Pathan men: so easy on the eyes, and yet when they opened their mouths, tsk tsk tsk...

regards

What is this ``master`` nonsense? I first read Farangi Kush Sahib using it, and now its become some kind of half wit refrain. Chowkwallahs who are using this ``master`` metaphor, kindly explain, in clearly explained sentences and supporting examples, what this term means.

If you hate America so much, don`t come back. We`re not in the mood to play host anymore. Quit blaming the world`s evil on one country. That`s simplistic and demonstrates the lack of accountability assumed by the developing world. And speaking of racism...what venom lives in the blood of Muslims for Jews. Your Pakistani president`s speech could have been given by Hitler himself. How many Pakistanis even know a Jew. Your hate for Hindus is legendary too. I think you consider them sub-human don`t you. So....don`t talk about racism in the US. Yes, the country has its problems and there have been recent incidents, but not the riots you would expect in Karachi. I have two words for you Pakistanis when you talk about the US, and I will speak them in English...``lay off.`` Now, off with you to go build and support some more terrorist training camps...

An American perspective:

Words of warning for terrorists

By Luke Ryan

Cavalier Daily Columnist

EVERY NOW and then the pricklies return. And when they do, I know that I am helpless to stop them.

The sensation feels like darkness. It is faceless and consuming. It seems to surround me like black water in a pool and I feel I cannot breathe. It is something terrible. It is evil. It is you.

You have made me feel guilty to smile. You have made me feel ashamed to laugh. You have taken my joy, and I hate you for it.

You have made my father weep and my friends fear. You have shown my baby sister that monsters do in fact exist - that they are not reserved for the bedroom closet or to the dark places in an attic. They are living, speaking, breathing beings, indistinguishable from what is human and what is good.

You have extinguished the lives of children who could not yet even talk and left parents who must now live the rest of their lives never knowing the sound of their child`s voice. You have taken our parents and friends from us. You have killed our countrymen and women for no greater reason than because they believed in the American flag.

Cavalier Daily Coverage -- Attack on America

You have invaded our homeland, a place that even we acknowledge as imperfect, but a place that is on the right track, to massacre and devastate. Our country is a place where freedom and equality constantly are being defended and upheld at the risk of preventing such attacks in the future. You have destroyed a fundamental part of our lives and taken away from us what we cherish. And we want to hate you. We will always hate you.

You have embarrassed all of humanity with your gruesome wit and hideous intelligence. Armed only with knives and box cutters, you`ve converted our very own jetliners into flying bombs. You planned an attack that you knew would be videotaped and broadcast into every American home, and hence, into every American heart.

You have taken the innocence of my generation. We are a generation that has not needed to face such casualty or horror, a generation that, perhaps unfairly, has lived during an amazing period of peace. There is peace no longer, and we are trying to come to grips with it. The change already has occurred. We will feel it soon.

You have killed a lifestyle, and for what? We cry for blood; we cry for war; we cry for revenge. And for what? As if the trial and execution of a few fellow human beings could ever alleviate the anguish we are suffering, as if new images of bloodshed or of a new war could ever soothe our wounds.

But you are evil.

You must know that the whole world will never mourn your passing. We will not feel sorrow for your fate or the fate of your followers. We will never sympathize with your ``cause.`` We will not budge one inch, and we will not let this change consume who we are at our core.

We will celebrate the day you are destroyed, and we will work steadfastly and with great strength until that day arrives. We will show courage in the face of pure evil. We will show you soon.

But we do not understand.

Is this what you hoped to accomplish? Is this what you wanted to give to the world? Is this what you wanted to share with humankind?

Why? Why did you attack children? Such an act is not even barbaric. It is incomprehensible. It is sheer, genuine evil. Perhaps that is the only answer, as hollow as it is.

You say you have done this in the name of religion? What religion? We have shown you what religion is. We have come together to pray for peace and to pray for healing. Now we pray for justice.

Justice is coming, and you know it.

Perhaps you simply wanted to show us how much you hate. Perhaps you only wanted us to realize the depths of your hatred. Feel now the depths of our resolve.

We will not be cowed. We will not be afraid of blind darkness wherever we may find it. We will never fear evil. We will never fear you.

You have failed. America is stronger than imagination allows. As one nation, we will respond. As one nation, we will ensure our safety and our children`s safety. You have shown that even they are not safe from your hatred. As one nation, we will make the world safe for all that we cherish.

We will hunt you until you have perished.

As our president said, ``War has been waged against us by stealth and deceit and murder. This nation is peaceful, but fierce when stirred to anger. This conflict was begun on the timing and terms of others. It will end in a way and at an hour of our choosing.``

You have failed. And we are coming to get you.
