Alright, I take all those words back.
I couldn`t be doing better. I just finished one of my most successful and productive weeks ever. And, how about you, my friend?

Godot and naipaul,
rarely does any one agree with me. But I do think that this nobel prize is worse than that given to Kissinger and Walensa, then that is peace prize which is highly political. Well one mohandas K.G of whome many people even now talk abot did not get the nobel prize.
I have read a few of naipauls books, it is absolute diatribe against some or other. There is nothing of eternal in his writing, nothing to give a better understanding of human mind, and the spiritual quest, hermenn hesse comes to mind, nothing evocative and poetic like garcia marcusse, nothing of an existensialist question in terms of lay man philosophy like saul bellow.
This is definitely an anti islam nobel prize, no better way to spread canard against a religion that to give nobel prize to the one who caricatured a religion.
absolutely totally pathetic. This is dropping the anti-islam anthrax on the human mind.

When Mujahdeen infiltrated Kashmir in 98 early, the world came on the brink of war.Later with blast of nuclear capability ,everyone is most anxious about slip of rationality ,emotion & oanic resulting in firing of nuclear arsenal, our good neighbour still remain complacent. If they had good job of dealing with Kargil or Even petty hijack situation in 99 dec. This world trade center terror action migfht not have been possible if India could behave even like tiny Israel.
India disagrees with US view on J&K
New Delhi, Oct 12
India late on Friday rejected America`s statement on Jammu and Kashmir describing the state as the ``most dangerous place in the world.``
Speaking to mediapersons here after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh said he disagreed with the US`s description of Kashmir and voiced confidence in rooting out the menace of terrorism from the Valley. He added that special measures would be taken towards this end, considering the present global scenario.
The meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, was chaired by Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

Whoever comes to power in Pakistan, however they come to power. I just hope some people with ``convictions`` come to power.
Frankly Mullah Omar has shown more loyalty and conviction than Pakistan ever has. He at least lets you know he is waging a Jihad against you.
Its impossible to deal with ``shadowy`` characters who operate in ``the shadows``.
TO think of it, at one time Pakitan made statements (abuse of diplomacy really) that they were never at war wtih India, the army was never involved. Now the Dawn carries ``advertisements`` of the Army captioned ``from independance to Kargil``.
(I think there are some traces of the Mullah Abdul Salaam Zaeef school of diplomacy and communications here)

A TECHNICALITY,
Afghanistan is surrounded by countries except for pakistan that recognises it. All goods are imported through pakistan, all communications go through pakistan. The real bad terroists are based in afghanistan, and they carried out the attack on WTC.
A mere technical question, who helped them.

To encapsulate, one can take heed of the famous words of Edmund Burke a long time ago:
``All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing``

A time for passport renewal
These are desperate times in pakistan, from dawn of today
Pak consulate in UAE
THE Pakistan Consulate in the UAE is not entertaining applications for passport renewals unless accompanied by receipts of foreign exchange remittance to Pakistan, citing an order from the Pakistan Ambassador in the UAE.
I would like to know if there is any legal and constitutional basis of this action which is tantamount to denying citizenship rights to a bonafide citizen. And this, too, apparently on the orders of an ambassador. Does he have the power to issue such instructions to the consulate?

[This is definitely an anti islam nobel prize, no better way to spread canard against a religion that to give nobel prize to the one who caricatured a religion.]
I am sure Prophet Muhammad`s name has been submitted for the Literature Prize but somehow the idea that no other book is needed to the end of eternity seems to grate on the Nobel Committee. I mean, it is one thing to claim Khatm-e-Nabuwwat but somehow totally unsettling to the average rational mind to accept Khatm-e-Kitab. Also, the Nobel Committee will have to disband once the Literature Prize is given for Al-Kitab. And who wants to vote himself out of a job?
[absolutely totally pathetic. This is dropping the anti-islam anthrax on the human mind.]
What do you think was dropped into the mind of Muhammad Atta & Company for them to fly jetliners into buildings? What kind of toxin tells you that it is okay to kill human beings to make a point? Get a clue, Jay. Get a copy of Al-Quran, Life`s Little Instruction Book and read it.
Have you seen how carefully CNN is treading, with one-minute sound bites about `Understanding Islam`? I am wondering when they will reach the part that says it is okay to kill the infidels and rape their women. I guess I will have to wait till Hell freezes over before CNN says that.

General Comments... Shammi, Zafar..
Firstly, the first 70 or so posts were very intelligent. Seems like you all voted the idiots off or something, whatever it is I finally have something to read in between hamids posts...
Shammi: I saw this Korean cat on the bus with a hebrew dictionary yesterday. We got into a theological build (him being a christian and me being Paki...). We covered the egyptian mysteries, buddha, krishna... At the end I asked him what I ask most Xtians I meet. ``so Im going to hell?`` ``Umm, yeah.`` Most religious people dont know anything about religion, if they did they wouldnt be so damn religious (obviosuly Hobby is an exception). Once u study the various personalities, u notice how similar they are to eachother, and later, how similar they are to you. Its at this point when answers to lifes queries become more complex. ``Go to hell`` no longer becomes an option. Truth resonates from within at a higher frequecny till u know it but cant speak it...
Zafar: Howd I know youd quote that sentance...
PS: Someone PLEASE submit a lengthy essay on the mating habits of Congolese spider monkeys. Im dying to know who`d be the first to bring up kashmir...

What the hell are you doing here, you brain-dead thayoli, babbling about things you have no clue about?
Don`t you have better things to do, like immolating yourself because your beloved Amma has been thrown out of office by the Supreme Court?
Before that, tell your Dravidian cohorts who have been poisoning your mind with anti-Brahmin rhetoric for the last 50 years that the Nobel Prize for Literature this year went to a Brahmin named V. S. Naipaul.
You guys can then burn the Nobel Committee in effigy for not giving the prize to your beloved ``Perarignar`` (``Great Intellectual``) C. N. Annadurai whose claim to literary fame rests on the pornographically suggestive Tamil book ``Queens of Rome`` and pornographic translations of Kamban`s Ramayana where that great poet was describing the beauty of Sita.
Time for you to go to the nearest dealer and get some kerosene to burn yourself because a Brahmin got the Nobel Prize. Take a few of your fellow Tamils with you.
In your own brainwashings, you are no better than Mohammad Atta.

[V. S. Naipaul wins Nobel Prize for literature. Lets see who wins Nobel Prize for Peace? How about Abdul Sattar Edhi?]
How about Dr. Ruth Pfau who, like Mother Theresa, has spent the last 40 years of her life in Pakistan fighting leprosy and bringing health-care to poor Pakistanis?
As I asked on another board, does one have to be a Muslim in Pakistan for his/her good deeds to be considered worthy of recognition?

[(Had the west african slaves listened to a preacher calling for war each friday, perhaps slavery would have ended sooner?)]
Maybe if the East African slaves had risen up against the ARAB slave traders (what is it about equality in Islam that you guys keep talking about? Are the slaves the equals of the slave traders?), there would have been fewer slaves in the world.
You actually think that some fcuked-up mullah is going to declare property (slave) ownership wrong? In all likelihood, he is going to say it is Allah`s will that the damned Arab is more powerful than the African blacks.
