Shiva: ``Go ahead speak your mind- us Hindoos or Hindians or whatever you godfearing Pakis are calling us these days can take it.``
``We`` (whatever the fukk that iz) may be able to take it but UR azz wouldnt last 2 rounds. You clearly (like almost EVERYONE on this site) have the intellectual capicity of a child.
What u see as an issue of ``Us against Them`` is really an issue of two breathtakingly stupid groups of people arguing over the same lame topics for eternity.
Chowk would be the baddest site if all the Indian and Paki posters collectively jumped off a cliff.

``...Now, ALL political parties in India have combined to oppose the Supreme Court decision to enforce honesty and transparency among politicians. To me, this is a confirmation of the failure of the democracy in India...``
When the US Congress rejected in 1994 then Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Arthur C. Levitt`s proposals to give the SEC more teeth in investigating accounting fraud and defend shareholders` rights, because most of the politicians received campaign contributions from accounting firms, many of whose clients now stand indicted with criminal charges after the failure of Enron, Worldcom, and many others, would you go so far as to say that `to me this is a confirmation of the failure of the democracy in the United States?`

If SUnil Dutt is Muslim , ( a Mohyal Musalman that would make him , not sure if there are any of that kind), however I kinda think migrating to Pakistan would have given him back his ancestor`s lands in Jhelum or Pind Dadan Khan and he could have remained a feudal , rich and powerful.

TRUE NATURE,
Sarwari 45
``Its been a while. Its usually a `take it or leave it` thing for me. But this time I do apologize if I offended anyone. I was typing directly into the chowk subscription box,``
The above quote is from sarwari. It is at the times of stress, when ones sensoring mechanisms are down, the the true nature emerges. Even the chowk shrink shankar will admit to that. After all these allegedly thoughtful articles on chowk, now the true nature has emerged ina spontaneous response. Yes it is about Ganguly, not about Omar sheikh who should be praised by every educated pakistani like you.
Again your true nature shows that pakistan does not have to accept anything, it is al a question of propaganda. How about accepting the hoodood ordinance and the sham of a trial that is going to emerge on the pack rape case.
For any educated pakistani, not just a schooled one like tahmed and the ilks of you, any suspension of sensoring function should resulte in the acceptance of the pathos of the pak society, the instutionaised criminality of honour killings, blasphemy laws and hoodood, but as it is the case with the pakistanis, the young ones, the children of TNT, the essential values of the education in the early age comes out at moments like this when the sensoring is suspended.
At least there is one truth after your above post, the article reflects your true values.

[Now. a positive side.
Nargis did not have to convert to marry Sunil Dutt even when her father had to convert to marry her mother.]
Of course not. Nargis was Muslim and so is Sunil Dutt, which is only a screen name.

Dear Glen,
It`s just that when I first came to Chowk, I was probably 19 or 20 years old. Back in those days, Chowk had a really cosy feel to it. The articles would come wrapped in Khaki coloured backgrounds and authors would jump with joy if the number of replies exceeded seven. The posters were dignified and decent people and diverse topics were covered. Being nocturnal by nature, I would look outside my window and see the whole of London sleeping. On my side would be a cup of tea and in front, my $hitty `ol machine. Ahh, the good ol` days…
Now, Chowk is more like MacDonalds. It`s fast, the sam ol` $hit is served and there are far too many rowdy customers:)
In fact, I would kindly request the Chowkidaars to repost some of those articles (as long as they aren`t mine `cos mine are absolute $--t)
Umer M.

harimau #113 you write ``Urstruly, Mullah321, Krashid, hobbyty and a whole host of others looking for proof that Islam is superior to all other religions``
As before, I challenge you to find one - just one - of my hundreds of post on chowk to back your words. Indeed, I have on numerous occassions called for respect for all faiths. This call for respect for all faiths does not extend to hate-mongering individuals with whom I am content to exchange insults in lieu of better use of m time. This includes you. You obviously confuse yourself with hinduism, when in fact your hatreds have nothing to do with religion, any religion. Just with your own insecurities.

Re: Arjun_M on Charcoal Kabab
I have been there -- the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. I know the Afghan owners reasonably well -- every tried asking the proud Pathan owners about how they feel about the ISI and the Pak Army for foisting the Taleban on them? Make sure that you let them know that you are not associated with these institutions in anyway before you ask.
