You can`t blame the victim of a crime -- previously the criminal was NS, now it is Musharraf. The Supreme Court cannot provide for its own security, that responsibility rests with the Executive branch of govt.

Some, including the Chief Justice, did resign when Musharraf asked them to swear allegience to the PCO (as is still the case today), but you can always find somebody willing to do anything if the price is right and a gun is being held to your head.

I have been there -- the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. I know the Afghan owners reasonably well -- every tried asking the proud Pathan owners about how they feel about the ISI and the Pak Army for foisting the Taleban on them? Make sure that you let them know that you are not associated with these institutions in anyway before you ask.

As before, I challenge you to find one - just one - of my hundreds of post on chowk to back your words. Indeed, I have on numerous occassions called for respect for all faiths. This call for respect for all faiths does not extend to hate-mongering individuals with whom I am content to exchange insults in lieu of better use of m time. This includes you. You obviously confuse yourself with hinduism, when in fact your hatreds have nothing to do with religion, any religion. Just with your own insecurities.

Dear Glen,

It`s just that when I first came to Chowk, I was probably 19 or 20 years old. Back in those days, Chowk had a really cosy feel to it. The articles would come wrapped in Khaki coloured backgrounds and authors would jump with joy if the number of replies exceeded seven. The posters were dignified and decent people and diverse topics were covered. Being nocturnal by nature, I would look outside my window and see the whole of London sleeping. On my side would be a cup of tea and in front, my $hitty `ol machine. Ahh, the good ol` days…

Now, Chowk is more like MacDonalds. It`s fast, the sam ol` $hit is served and there are far too many rowdy customers:)

In fact, I would kindly request the Chowkidaars to repost some of those articles (as long as they aren`t mine `cos mine are absolute $--t)
