Aw c`mooon stop being a lurker & join our party! Who cares if your english is bad? I speak bad english too. The good thing about Chowk is kuchbi english chalta hai our kuchbi spelling chalta hai. Just dont submit an article though, because then Mia Temporalji will start singing:)
Dont worry about rudeness & occ. gaalis either. Words can hurt children, but as mature adults, as long as we are secure about our self esteem, words should NOT hurt us! People give gaalis to GOD!...why should mere mortals like us be exempt?
Thats the good thing about cyberspace & anonymity. On Chowk you can reveal as much or as little about your personal self. Even if there is a khunnas-ka fight; nobody gets physically hurt. Thats what happens in the ``real`` world....then all the ``fun`` in the fight is gone:)!

Sometimes I wonder how Chowk has managed to survive amid the slowdown in internet advertising spending. I have noticed a decrease in the frequency of new articles being posted.
I would like to know what are Chowk`s plans for survival and if there is anything I/WE can do as readers of Chowk.

Happy Birthday, Chowk!! I am one of the 2000 lurkers, been lurking since the start in 1997. I don`t interact coz my English is bad, I cannot express myself properly and I am soooo scared of all the other InterActors....:-)

That ``respect`` you talk about was when tahmedji thought you were a genuine interactor. He himself admitted that you caught him when he was half asleep.
The ``notice`` interactors give you is otherwise known as ``negative attention``...the kind one gives to an annoying child who wants to be part of the conversation, when adults are talking.
