Are you sure there could not any other combination or mixing of blood? You seem very sure that this miracle could happene only thru Pakistani blood. - It`s going to take a lot more than this to get me into an Indo-Pak mudslinging match. People only resort to mudslinging when they run out of facts. I was just presenting facts.

- As for Ashwariya Rai, I think she is too good looking to be a pure Indian. She must have some Pakistani blood in her. Or she could be a freak of nature. Considering there are 550 million women in India, it is quite possible that in such a high number, some combination of Indian cells, genes, dna etc. combined against massive odds and lead to one individual breaking the mold. So the odds were 550 million to 1. And it happened. The next Ashwariya Rai will come along when the population of Indian females doubles to 1.1 billion (I would add Lisa Ray to this list here, but she was born in Canada).

- Is it a coincidence that all the Indian film actors are Muslim and/or from what is now Pakistan. Dilip from Peshawar. Kapoors are Pathans (I think). Dharmendra and his kids speak our national language (Punjabi). All the other ones have last names starting with K and ending in han. Dev Anand from Lahore (I think) - Dutts are from Jehlum (what to talk of our Muslims, even our Hindus are good looking). Feroze and Sanjay from Kashmir. Amitabh broke the mold for a little while, but I think even he is from the Urdu speaking part of India in Allahabad (its named after our God).

- As for Pakistani girls being lazy - I will have to give you that one. At least for the well-off Pakistani girls. They do sit and look pretty (prettier than Indians, which isn`t saying much). No match to Indian girls when it comes to ambition and efficiency and winning Olympic bronze medals in weightlifting. So Indian girls are way ahead of Pakistani girls. But since Pakistan and India are at about the same levels, it would mean that Pakistani guys are balancing out the average, in comparision to Indian guys.

- The maulvis are definitely coming in Pakistan. In most normal countries, in normal circumstances, this would be a bad thing. But in Pakistan, it could be a change for the better. After all, how could anyone be worse than the feudals led by BB.

- I think our maulvis, unlike your maulvis, are only maulvis on the face of it. They are already thawing their stances. Maulana Fazl could turn out to be a hearthrob if he shaves his beard, takes off his headgear, and loses a few pounds. After all, how good looking would Dharmedra (an famous actor in your country of birth, just in case you did not know) be had he not shaved his beard, not taken off his headgear, and added weight.

Even Asif Naqsh. has started writing poetry, and discussing dating rituals. That should be a sign that power is effecting the maulvis more than they are effecting the power.

- As for sports, there are only three sports that South Asians are reasonably good at: cricket, cricket and cricket. And the last time I checked, one of the two countries was scared of playing the other.

So, I will give you the benefit of the doubt on being more educated, more cultured, more intelligent, more balanced etc. But better looking! It isn`t a coincidence that Kmart went bankrupt within a few weeks after all the Indian H-1s returning to India from the USA.

Went to college with a couple of guys named Rai but they might have been straightforward Kannada types as opposed Konkans. Not sure that Rai is a Brahmin surname. Dickshit (aka Headshrinker) claims her to be of Konkani descent so he should be able to tell. Perhaps she is Coorgi?

...so pakistanis are about as better looking than indians as indians are intellectually superior to pakistanis?... :)

I hope chowkies (especially Pakistani women) realise we are just having some fun here. I certainly have no intention of hurting anyone`s feelings here. As Shankar has said, Paksitani women in chowk are sharp and incisive.

My dear friend, why are you angry with me. If it makes you feel better, let me say that Pakistani women and men are better looking than their Indian counterparts.
I can only speak from personal experience. Before coming to US, i had not met even one Pakistani. So, if someone said they are better looking, i would have said: that maybe true. I met Pakistanis for the first time in US and met them in large numbers. I often spent time with my Pakistani friend who inturn had many other (Pakistani) friends who were not doctors. There was one guy who was married to a Romanian girl. There were others. All were decent looking but none could be termed handsome. I can say most were better looking than Javed Miandad but not as good as Imran Khan, if you know what i mean.
But then i have seen such looks among Indians as well. From a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being ugliest, 10 being handsomest), i would rate the Pakistanis i have met at may be 5 or 6 and Indians at 4 or 5. Not one Paksitani can be compared to the tall, fair, blue eyed blond (girl or boy) that one sees regularly in US. So, what is this discussion all about. You are a shade better than me. OK, i grant it to you. Do you now feel happy?

They pile up their forces on our borders, while simultaneously blaming us for a potential war. They even have the audacity to point out that we cannot understand the java code written by their best and brightest Coca-cola lense wearing Bangloris.....

But to say that Indians are better looking than Pakistanis? (capital question mark!!!) Oh my Bhagwan!! What is this world coming to! Is there no limit to fantasizing and ego-nurturing! This one even the sexy Advani would have a hard time accepting.

I can still say loudly and proudly, that, during my college club going days, I have watched extremely attractive American girls walk off, in front of me, with the Australian, then the Norweigan, then the Brit, then the Argentinian, and even now and then with the odd Egyptian. But when all these guys were gone, and my only competition was with the Indian, ten times out of ten, I scored.

The fact that we are worse than the rest of the world in almost everything (including looks), but still better (only) than, ``them`` is what keeps us going. Now they want to take that right away from us also, and move us to the bottom of the heap. No way! Not till they stop wearing Kmart dress pants with Walmart tennis shoes and flannel shirts from India.
