Rajeeb,
A typical story of South Asia`s misfortune. No wonder South Asia is the worst of all grouping of people in the world in terms of quality of life. This story is quintessential South Asia. What a monumental task to fix it, if it can ever be done.

Hats off for writing such an honest account of you privileged desperation. But, as you very correctly say, ``it is the individual who will make difference.`` Can you honestly say, then, that you instilled the ``right`` values in your children, the values you know that you grew up with are not right and should not be passed on to your children?

However, it`s great to see an article at Chowk from one of the forgotten countries of South Asia. I hope to see articles from other SA countries, including Bhutan. That would be just great. I think Chowk had enough of Pak-Bharat bickering. Let`s hear from the other groups.
