re: and where is the Urdu version?
ab dekhiye na, kyoon t. sahib ke dimaagh ko aur tax karna chahte hain aap? Is the English version not sufficient? (no, no, don`t answer that). I can just picture him scribbling on a piece of paper right now!
regards, ana :-)

Very nice, t. Puts things in perspective. As you correctly point out, this is a very cruel and nasty world. However, I don`t so quickly point my finger at the United States. But I suppose one expects more from the US. America is, and should be, held at a much higher level of understanding and wisdom than the rest of the world. Alas!
PS: My last post to this article got lost in the cyberspace (or in the messy world of Chowk.)

9/11 reminds me of the OJ Simpson case. The 2 worlds saw the same thing but drew completely different inferences. Most of us know which were the right ones though. Good job t.

This was beautiful!
I recently wrote a column about Sept. 11, mixing my rage with a sundry of emotions at the horrendous occurence a year ago. I have to congratulate you at keeping your calm, as you penned these lines. Poetry tends to do that to us usually.
Love,
Kiran

What an insensitive commentary on the anniversary of September 11. The typical effort to turn the victims into the accused. Three thousand people were killed, eight thousand widowed and orphaned, and all the `poet` could come up with is a litany of the oft repeated leftist- and Islamist- propaganda. The attempt to equalize Nazis with Zionists is simply cheap and vulgar.
Employees of my company, our corporate family, died a year ago. This poem is vulgar in its depth of insensitivity.

Nicely said, T!
By the way, did you forget about Sharpville, Soweto, Aremenia, and Baluchistan in the 1970s?
Ciao

t bhai,
You truly are a magnificent person...in thought and in word.
I don`t come down so hard on the ``mad giant`` (that was delightfully appropriate, though :)) ...but you express genuine sentiments so well that you can touch anybody`s heart.
