i think it`s a great thing that you guys did...influencing young minds positively, especially in the age when they are susceptible to forming prejudices.
maybe the younger generation will grow up with a more positive and understanding view of the `enemy` because of the efforts of people like you and arifa habib.

[arjun_m, how about we make a deal? we let you worship ``your`` cows and you let us eat ``our`` cows.]
Well, my friend Ali, a Pakistani, NEVER ate beef, explaining that beef smells bad.
The farmers of Tamil Nadu are selling 10,000 cattle a week (instead of the usual 1,000 a week) to slaughterhouses in nearby Kerala because of the drought in southern India.
So, while Ali certainly doesn`t ``worship`` cows, he refuses to eat them while those horrible hindoos of Kerala are adding insult to injury by probably mixing heeng with beef before eating it.

``mushy just said we have nothing in common because ``we eat cows and they worship cows``. Dont make me post mushy`s interview. ``
Wasn`t Mushy who said this. It was the nuclear genius of Pakistan Dr AQ Khan who said this in an interview.
In any case, these things are a waste of money. I have good friends who are Pakistani, but does not make me wanna give up Kashmir. I am sure the Pakistanis I know are not so overwhelmed by my friendship that they wanna give up Kashmir either.

arjun_m, how about we make a deal? we let you worship ``your`` cows and you let us eat ``our`` cows. hmm... but that would mean that we`ll have to stop sending those jehadis to Kashmir first, because I heard that they`re eating ``your`` cows before you`re getting a chance to worship them. this is, indeed, very very sad. but, I also heard that there are a few cows who neither want to be worshipped nor eaten. what shall we do about them?

There was a recent article in Time Mag about Seeds of Peace. I believe it was based on an interview with Sana Shah one of the participants from Lahore. Heres thelink to the article. Made me want to say namaaz :)

Having taken courses in Conflict Resolution myself, I applaud the efforts of programs like SOP in bringing `the enemy` together. As for the question as to what is a better route to peace. . .the answer is simple, if one opens their eyes, and their hearts. And no, you don`t have to go all the way to Maine for it :-). The question is not what, but why isn`t anyone listening.
Hope The Seeds of Peace continues!
