dearest
seems that you have evolved out of the chains and self-censorship that years of hypocrisy has made us believe to be as the ultimate truth.

Shahab:
An interesting idea! I got to thinking and tried to give my twist to it without removing the religious thrust you may or may not have intended.
Doubt of Reason
Cherish your weakest doubts for they subsume,
The soil that springs the roses of belief.
Doubts lay down the bricks
On which the Reason dances along.
Swaying her hips for all beings that do not know
What underlay the glide.
Oh people of faith! Do you even know
Why is reason exalted and doubt pooh-poohed?
Doubt had the conviction that you so crave
To lay down like Ishmael, headed for the grave
While the whore named “Reason” posing today
Was sold for pennies in Courts and even less in a day.
Are we to judge this creation and the creator
On the minutiae of human mind, as reason?
Fain would I take doubt as my companion
To have and adore it all ages and seasons.
This format intends to convey the following: doubting mind is a flexible mind, it experiments and leads to new truth. We should cherish doubts rather than bigotry which is symbolized by rigid reason.
Thanks for giving an opportunity to think about your subject.

Excellent piece of work.
Keeping the title of this poem and your name in mind, the mathematics, which is the ultimate expression of reason, is called in Urdu as ``Riazi``. Is this a coincidence:)
