jaan-e ghalib:
This one is like a Punjabi joke, in amritsari-Jullundree vernacular, which simply goes flat if `tashree`ed` in any other language.
Nothing to do with the sequel to The Lord of Rings,..the unmentionables.
Fully marks to you in the `nice try` category. It takes one to know one.;)

Brilliant! The analogy of castration to debt was profound.

ghalib mian,
``Voh inni(impotent) hongay jo kehtay haiN, shehvat kl humein hogee.
YahaaN tayyaar baithay haiN,----- muraa ley jiss kaa jee chaahay.``
.........sounds pretty profound, but mirza ghalib is always a little difficult to understand .......... could you provide a simple tashreeh .........

Rather, you are the true Muslim in a world in which Muslims like nasah #3 are rarer than lotus flowers in sand dunes.

````There was, of course, the aforementioned destruction at the hands of the Mongols (1258), then the beating by the Castillians at Grenada (1492), then followed the watershed loss at Lepanto to the Spanish (1539), then the failed uprising of Panipat against the British (1857), and finally, the final destruction of the Ottomans at the hands of Europe (1924). ````(Ameer Afraid)
Great stuff indeed.
Heejrahs, khusraas, dallaals, and rundees have always been incharge whenever & wherever the the downful of the `muslim` empires began. Our own commando-heejraa is no exception. He believes in a baigharat life over a ghairatmund death.
As the sell-out unionists of punjab used to say :`` Ghairat aanee jaanee shai vey, bunday nooN dhheet honaa chahheda ay``.
``Magar yeh raaz aakhir khul gayaa saaray zamaanay purr
hameeyat naam thaa jis kaa, gayee Taimoor key ghur sey``.
Lal quilaa was being operated by rundees & devdaasees since the days of Shah Alam rangeelaa till early 1800s. THe `mughals` were drowned in their melon-merlots. The muslims were lying low and carrying on their life as `orphans` with deadbeat dads of `rulers`.
Ameer:
Can’t say much about your fascination with ‘eunuchs’….allegorical or not…but reminisces aside…post 9/11…the impotency of third world in general and the muslim world in particular is evident…almost glaringly evident…
….now there is a difference between impotency and castration…;)….not much…both may be finger printed and photographed…for now…but in the long run…
…was the reference to warraq intentional?
