re: sri

{what is it about this feeling of pakis that they are so brave and 1 paki is qual to 10 hindus ( or something of that sort ). I mean you pakis should have realized your place when hindus whacked your behinds in 65 and 1971. Well, let me tell you that next time you will not only be facing hindus but also dalits ( include me and all my relatives in that ). }

..hahaha...and the funny thing is that the ancestors of present-day bakistanis were part of the victims 1000 years ago, not the ``warriors`` who rode into india on camels (even if urstruly dresses in a white bedsheet and a tight headband)...

adnan_rafiq #25, #34:
I agree that the recent INS regulations in the US are only affecting innocent muslims, and are highly unlikely to help America deter or prevent the actual terrorists. Even if the US govt had no sympathy for the inconvenience and fear that Muslims are going through, it should realise that the INS registrations are inefficient and useless in their war on terrorism.
On your other comments regarding the `glee` of Indians, I must say that it is only restricted towards Pakistanis - it is very difficult for me or other Indians to wish Pakistan well, given all that you guys have done to our country. We are not inhuman, and I do sympathize with the difficulties that muslim americans are going through, but my feelings towards Pakis are based on Indo-Pak enmity and Paki terrorism.
Ironically, if Jinnah had not got a separate Pakistan, Muslims would have comprised around 35 to 40 percent of unified India - too large a number to be suppressed.

NATURE OF THINGS,

It is pathetic to see the pea brained pakistanis trying to blame al quaida and osama for all of the muslim vows. The reality iss that pakistan, created by a doctrine of TNT has spawned a virulent version of islam. This islam conquered afghanistan, and now it is spreading to other parts of the world. Muslims from kenys, indonesia and all over the world are coming to pakistan, to be schooled in one of the 200,000 madrssas that formed the incubators for taliban.

It is time that pakistanis take some credit for creating a true version of islam from a country created by a man on the typewriter, who created the ideology of hatred called TNT.

Essentially, having denied all of its hindi history by the doctrine of TNT, the muslims of pakistan were left with no moderating influence and fell on the jihad. Muslims from all over the world are coming to pakistan to achieve jihadic heaven and pakistanis have to be duly proud.

Till the day the fools of delhi woke up to this reality of pakistan, people all over the world will continue to be killed. The sterling contribution of pakistan in creating taliban and al quida has to be accepted with with pride in the name of J, not for jay.

{it will be fun to watch the hindu coward sweat. What I have noticed is, after 911, the hindus have been silently gloating over their good fortune, and just now it is becoming obvious for all to see when Pakistan is being pinned tail on the donkey.}

...don`t worry about all these ``will be`s`` and ``was`` etc etc etc...you can pray for all that while you are in line at the INS office...be sure to pack enough clean undies...never know if the detention center will have in-cell laundry services, or if the PIA flight back to pakistan will have spares...

Another typical hypocritical Pakistani to add to the rest. You are proud to be in a 1000 year `civilisational conflict` with Hindus, but start howling in dismay if anyone in the West talks of any `civilisational conflict` with you. There was a poster here who went around for months with a handle FARANGI_KUSH. He complains the loudest about the Western attitude to Muslims. Hypocrites.

We need to move the discuusion from AyeshaKhan`s article on Imran
Khan to where it belongs, which is here...

From that board....

We should move this discussion back to the Beynaam Badshah article because that is where it really belongs.
We are already very familiar with GhalibZaman and are trying to figure out where YusuKhan is coming from at the moment.
But once again hamidm (original or #2?) has hit the nail on the head.

Where do those who always opposed the bearded boys stand in America today? Merlot in hand or Cabernet if you will, where do some of us
hybrids fit in? The thought of consuming sweet lassi made by heejras on old monkey road in Karachi is no longer appealing. But will we be forced to make a choice in the near future?

Beynaam Badshah: Your whining about your being fingerprinted indicates the problem most muslims suffer from - lack of character. If they had character, they would understand why this is a reasonable procedure dictated by legitimate security concerns. And, if you people had any character, you would appreciate how lucky you are to be in the US and thank this great nation for taking you in. You obviously are smart enough to realize this, otherwise you would have put your money where your mouth is and gone back to Pakistan from the US. But that would require character.
So, your life is one big lie, as is the life of every single Pakistani who whines about these procedures.

Now coming back to the topic, americans seem to be very nice in this whole INS registration story. After all, they seem to have detained only those who have serious violations in their documentation.

Mr. Adnan Rafique comes across as a reasonable person. I am of the opinion that people should oppose overzealous government action by peaceful means that happens to be targetted against specific groups. Today it is Muslims, tomorrow it may be someone else! At the same time, an effort should also be made to understand American insecurities and fears. American mindset has turned paranoid after 911 and is now veering towards xenophobia. The minorities, especially ALL immigrant minorities, should voluntarily cooperate with the state officials in their efforts to make America safe. Especially Pakistanis need to introspect why their country is looked upon with suspicion in most of the terror activities all around the world inspite of being a ``frontline ally`` on USA. How has Pakistan become a terrorist haven in the world. Is it because of its participation in Afghan war through ``Mujahideens``? Or are these the fruits of nurturing ``freedom fighters`` like Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Muhammad that are known to have Al-Qaeda connections. Pakistanis need to get out of the delusions about good terrorist vs bad terrorist. This mindset has done more harm to Pakistan than anything India is capable of doing.

``I should like to one day see you all strip-searched, it will be fun to watch the hindu coward sweat.``

Dear Sir, are you referring to the ``Hindu cowards`` before whom your illustrious General surrendered with his 90,000 brave Sher-e-Pakistans in
1971.

re: namak haram #37 and #39

...as far as registering with the INS is concerned, it depends on what country`s passport you have...india is NOT one of the countries on the list...religion is irrelevant...get it?...

...as for modi, the US does not give a damn about him or what he does in india...this thread is about US detentions, not india...pull your head out of your behind for a change...
