``Your contention is that if the majority decides to eliminates a minority it is ok as long it is done democraticaly? ``

Technically a lynch mob is a democracy. When people talk about a democracy they talk about majority rule with safeguards for minorities (religious, ethnic, economic).

Of course that is all in theory. Practise is a lot different.

Talking about pakistan who systemetically eliminated kafar minority?
Right you are.

{{{Much like how most of germans stood behind Hitler while he extrimnated jews. }}}

Or yahya khan who killed 2.5 million bengalis?
Or saudis who sent muslim hijackers to do sep-11?
Or sadam who used mustard gas on its own people?
Or 2000 goatee beard muslims who came to burn the sabarmati train?
Choice is yours.

So.......... you are a RSS chaddi wala.. all this is justification for Gujrat.. or the 3000 killed in Delhi in 1984

Ask yourself, your name is arabic to begin with.

you mean Arabic belongs to the Saudi Monarchy. Or English to the UK queen?

gandhi was a traitor, hence he was silenced with five bullets, and not one, the intelligent man nathuram godse made sure he would not survive

True,

Some of us would like to browbeat pakistanis just for that. The pakistanis here are just as much/less responsible for what their govt does as ordinary Indians are.

Pakistan is in a mess that is admitted by most pakistanis.

The hate and unnecessary lies that some times prevade pakistani socitey also exsists in India only we chose not to identify it. At most we may say that it exists a bit lesser in India. So what exactly are we gloating about.

Instead of flogging a dead horse we could come up with some solutions.

However there are some who are equaly guilty of the same things they accuse pakistanis of and dont seem to see the futility of their arguments.

so we should give you bonus points for laloo parsad ?

Your contention is that if the majority decides to eliminates a minority it is ok as long it is done democraticaly?

Much like how most of germans stood behind Hitler while he extrimnated jews.

A hindu will always talk of loyalty in terms of places or Idols. Loyality for mecca means what? loyalty for any regime in mecca? or loyalty to the Quran?

I think that you dont understand the difference.

At one time gandhi suppourted the world wide khilafat movement. You supposse that he too had his loyalties with mecca.

So did khan addur gaffar khan, moulana Azad.

My contention is not that there are no good hindus in India. There are and I have many friends belonging to that religion who would be called devout hindus.

My contention is that there are rabble rousers and faciscits and I want to identify those who belong to that group on this board.

You are a good candidate who seem to belogn to that group arjun would also fall in your company easily.

Where as your attempt is to say that all Indians/ hindus are same or some how by some miracle the thinking of the parivar is not represented on this board.

A futile attempt I must say....

The rules of the game were different during the cold war. The rules are different now. Neither Indians nor Pakistanis get to write the rules.

Indian support for the LTTE was no different than Pakistani support for Sikh miliatnts or Pakistani support of Afghan mujahdeen or US support of Contras or Soviet support of PLO.

For the record Libya trained a lot of LTTE militants. Pakistan and Sri Lankan government provided weapons to the LTTE in the late 1980`s when they were fighting the Indian Army. It is not like the LTTE is around solely because of Indian help.

There are no training camps in tamil nadu now. this is well known ie after the assanisation of Rajiv Gandhi and Defeat of IPKF.

Earlier there were there and this was admitted by many govt officals indirectly and is belived by most countires and many people in the know.

Jerk where did democracy come up in the argument? You mean that terrorism is ok if it is done by a elected govt or inspite of it?

arjun try dwelling on the Indian suppourt to LTTE, The training camps in Tamil Nadu, The complicity of the govt (including the central govt) in Gujrat directly or defending the prepeutators. Or on how most of the gujrats polity heartily agreed with modi in his gujrat progrom and re-elected him.

only difference is that VHP does not target westerners. It would if it had a geo political reason like the fundus in pakistan do.

so stop preening yourself and jeering at others.

Also remember Rajiv Gandhis naked body after the blast.. and the fact that now LTTE is being feted by both the srilankan govt as well as the european powers. That India has wisely not decided to oppose the talks and may even some day be talking to LTTE in near future as legitimate representatives of Tamil people in Sri Lanka.

In fact Norway gave away communication equippment to LTTE last week which was smuggled into SriLanka by its diplomats under diplomatic immunity. The SriLankan govt was aware of this but could only protest.

Also remember that ANC was labelled a terrorist organisation and Nelson Mandela was also a ``known TERRORIST``

Similarly the white west now finds Mugabae a undespicable Tyrant because he is talking the lands held by the rich white ``only 4000`` farmers and that is enough for the west to condemm him. That India took the property and land of the princely states in similar manner after independence, Enacted a land celing act to stop people from owning too much land..

In sure that you are aware of all this.... but you want to beat the pakistanis with the terrorist stick...
Makes me wonder if you are making a logical statement or argument or is there some thing else behind your endless ranting..
.......Like for instance unresolved hurt for having taken away part of Indian land.... or the dream of unified India ??? (unified for what I never understood)
