Sobia:
``But she soon gets to know him after about 5 years of their marriage.....``
Does it take 5 years for a wife to ``know`` her husband (in a biblical sense) and discover that he is not man enough?:-)
Enjoyed your story...must be more where it came from.

tahmed32 #19, its ME who rejected cricket, because although too late, I finally did get to know no matter how good I`ll play, I`ll always be the `chosen worse` :D
My game would automatically improve infront of female audience. I wonder if it`s a subconcious effect of reading too much Shafeequr Rehman :)

PagalInsaan #8 Join the club of cricket rejects. Finally I found the solution to making a century: I enticed a kid half my size to play, with him being the bowler and myself the batsman. I had the poor chap bowling and fielding and bowling and fielding and bowling and fielding...until late evening when I had finally gotten my century.
Moral: It doesnt matter how bad you are - you just have to select someone even worse than you.

And then there was the time I was watching the ladies on the pavilion when I should have been fielding. And got hit on the arm really hard by a ball I should have caught. And then there was the time I was watching the ladies on the side (this time I was playing soccer aka football) when I was near the enemy goal, and got hit on the head by the ball and it went into the goal. And there was the time...

Yes sir...Those were the days. Now I only watch the ladies as they cross the road in front of me while I am supposed to be waiting for the red light to turn to green...

Further to my post at # 4, I think that frogs must have fared very well, considering the prowess of Pakistani batsmen of hitting with a bat. That is, if they were able to catch the frogs in the first place. Considering their fielding, I doubt that they were able to catch any ;)
