In response to sameer: Why are you hindus obsessed with our country Pakistan.
------
Because we hate you guys tooooooooo much(esp the ones like u)...baaghi convert kahin ke..ARABICS!!!!
If we could ...we would build a BIG WALL between India and Pakistan and never look the other side again(a task left incomplete at the time of partition)...and we really absolutely gladly accept your theory that you all are Arabic...we feel happy that u pakis have nothing to do with India (ho hi nahi saktaa...kahan hum! kahan tum arabics!)
Anything to get rid of you all out of our lives....

``Just as India, in theory at least, is a pluralistic society that allows many religions to co-exist without enforcing one over the other, Pakistan should except and allow the many different versions of Islam to co-exist, not allowing one dominance over the other, and extend that pluralism to other religions.``
My dear Idiot on Chowk,
India is not just a theoretical pleuralistic society. It is a fact. Go and visit that country. In town after town, city after city and in remote villages, different communities, religions co-exist. In big cities, Indians from different parts not only co-exist peacefully but also intermarry. Despite riots and some tensions now and then between religious communities, by and large the pluralistic model has survived. Pak has much to learn from India. Turning to Saudia Arabia is a regressive step. Saudia Arabia is a regressive society. It is a blot on humanity.

#10, hamidm2:
You are a unique and minority of Muslims. One with eyes and head.
The primary source of your discomfiture is the lack of education among Muslims and the capture of leadership in education by the organized clergy. This further aggravated with persistent and steady devaluation of Muslim countries. Heck, till oil was discovered in early 1900, the entire Muslim world was one backward part of the Nineteenth century earth. The tragedy of following the contorted form of Islam is that it has led to the demise of objective thinking and caused a population imbued with rationality to become antirational.
Wait till oil runs out and you will see that these suicide bombers will have to hang themselves as nothing else will be there in West Asia and North Africa.

Mr. Mughal: If you knew anything about islam, you would not be calling for islamic rule. An islamic state is a contradiction in terms, an antithesis of the message of the Quran which clearly calls for no compulsion in religion. The concept of an islamic state is the enemy of the Quran, the enemy of democracy, and the enemy of every decent value. No wonder you islamist types have the whole world against you. The same way drug smugglers and decoits have the whole world against them.

Indian-American commands US warship into Kochi
CHIDANAND RAJGHATTA
TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2003 10:07:21 AM ]
WASHINGTON: When the American warship USS Gary sails into Kochi for a port call on Thursday morning, it will be a sweet homecoming of sorts for at least one person on board - the captain of the ship.
In an eloquent testimony to the first generation bonds between India and the United States, the warship is being commanded by Tito Dua, an American citizen of Indian origin born in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh,
One of the highest ranking people of Indian origin among the increasing numbers in the US Armed Forces, CDR Dua joined the US Navy in 1984 after his parents, both born in Northern Punjab, moved to the US in the early 1960s and put him through school there.
Cdr Dua took charge of USS Gary, a Guided Missile Frigate of the Oliver Hazard Perry class with a complement of 240 crew including 30 officers, last July. Prior to assuming command, he was forward deployed with USS Sterett in Subic Bay, Philippines, and later in the North Arabian Sea and Japan.
``Since I began my career in this part of the world it has always been something I hoped to have an opportunity to do, to come to my nation of birth on a Navy Ship,`` he said in an e-mail exchange from high seas with this correspondent.
``While I have never exercised with the Indian Navy, I know of their superb reputation as mariners and have spoken to some of my friends who have been fortunate to sail with them,`` he wrote. ``All in GARY look forward to the opportunity to spend a few days experiencing many of southern India`s hospitalities and some rest and recreation after much time at sea.``
//////What a difference 50 years can make in the fortunes of people. In the last 6 months, six plane loads of pakistanis have returned to pakistan, handcuffed and chained to the seats in chartered flights. What a return, what a home coming, all because in pakistan the doctrine of TNT has permeated the society.

ANATOMY OF HOPELESSNESS
Many believe that the problem of pakistan is lack of resources, education, and good old money. No, that os not the case, pakistan is having everything, but of the wrong kind.
Most pakistanis are educated, educated in the madrassa, they can read the book, and see and understand that blasohemy laws and honor killinmgs are per the book and they welcome it.
There is money coming from the arabs, but it is chanelled to the numerous religious sects to fight one another, to kill the afghans, the indians, any kafirs. It is not the lack of funding, it goes to the wrong application.
For example take the water resource, it has lots of it, but the focus is on cotton that uses most water and chemical intensive. 70 percent of pak exports are cotton related. They import second hand textile machinery from russia, but orders brand new military equipment.
It is time that pakistanis accept that pakistan is not a viable country, long years of economic decline followed by iraquisation is the only hope. Pakistanis should knowingly accelerate the decline fo that the eventual up-swing is not delayed. This article in that context is the right type, it wants pakistan to find its islamic roots and that well and truly can accelerate the decline.
See the example of saudi, percapita GDP has declined by 50 percent in the last 10 years, iran, kuwait and all other islamic countries also have declined steadily. Pakistan has declined in the last two years and no doubt is in the correct path setr by the rabs.

``Religious resurgence in NWFP/Afghanistan is only a temporary phenomenon. Settlement of Kashmir and Palestine issues will compel people to vote with their brains, instead of their hearts.``
Above is a quote from a post by his -excellencey. I thought I have heard it all from the pakis why their country is going on the camel path to oblivion. It has been blamed on the sudid for wahabism, for the americans for afghanistan, for the sheer genious of zia, due to feudals. Now this, NWFP has intrudced sheria because of kashmiris.
If this english educated pakistani is the sample from pakistan, what education can do to a pakistani, well there is no hope what so ever for the TNT blessed country. This is the classic case of how what is taught at a youg age, the doctrine of hatred cannot be cleansed by education of any kind. Education only provides new avnues for the hatred to ooze out. pathetic.

...........the universal civilization vs. dar-ul-harb
..........i was one of those optimists who had prematurely accepted fukuyama’s argument that we had finally arrived at the “end of history” and that everyone would jump on the bandwagon of universal civilization ......... i had also poo-poohed huntington’s rather alarmist theory of the clash of civilizations .......... but based on the arguments presented by folks like mr mogul, naqsshbandi and other islamists, it is evident that huntington is at least partly right............there might not be the seven or eight civilizations as suggested by him, but there are definitely two distinct camps : fukuyamas “universal civilization”, which stands for democracy, free market economy, human rights and decency, and the retrograde and degenerate islamic civilization which is based on authoritarianism, misogyny and seventh century bedouin tribalism ........and come to think of it, that is exactly how muslims divide the world – dar ul salaam vs. dar ul harb, but they have the labels switched ………

Are you really serious Mr. Moghul?
I think that Pakistan should look at its bright future and forget about its past.
