Excellent article. It is all about money, sex and contract. Genetic Programming. Religious Programming. Cultural Programming. Robot looking for a robot to mate. Advertisement is the Mating call. Just like a mosquito or a bee buzzing. Papa robot, mama robot create baby robot. No escape from the INFINTE DO LOOP. Breach of contract runs into abuse and then to divorce. Children learn to accept new mother or new father. Children resents new mother, new father. Violence, hatred. Vicious cycle continue. NO LOVE, JUST HOLY MATRIMONY under GOD.

reminds me of matrimonial ads in Punjabi papers....ikk 42 saala, kadd 5`-13`` Sandhu jatt munDay lai ikk khoobsoorat, paRhi likhi te gharailoo kamm wich maahir kuRi di loRh hai. MunDay koll Canadian green card hai. jehRay munDay de waDDay bhra, ummer 45 saal, 12 jamaataN paas nu Canada liyaan wich madad kar sakday hoan, ohi raabta karn.

Sadly it is very common to find 30 and 40 something old munDay and kuRiyan these days in matrimonial ads. The pressure to get education. find jobs, make career and get settled before you get married has totally ruined the fun in marriage for desis. Goray atleast have fun between turning 16 and getting married at 35...desis mostly keep waiting and protecting their reputation and/or viriginity until marriage...then they discover ke equipment nu te jangaal lagg giya ay. ..lao banaa lao career..khao kharboozay.

Dude, why don`t you pay attention to the matrimonials for guys? he world has changed and power has shifted to the women. Try hitting on girls and maybe after ten tries one will give you her number. Even in the arranged marriage scene, the situation for guys is pretty sad.

Unless you have a six figure income as a doctor or an investment banker, ain`t no one even gonna look at you.

See disclaimer.
Man-corporation Link? Interesting notion, I have some theories on this but after seeing the tone and the disclaimer are you sure this is the right place for you to dust off your callousness?

Getting the attention of the custormers is foremost imortant thing in any kind of advertisement and matrimonial ads are no different. I see no problem in it any more than hamburger commercials. If 5 billion people can be fooled by Coca-cola and God commercials, why can`t a person try to fool another to take a bite.
