What would happen if you referred to the sacred tablet in the title and not the second stanza. I understand what connections you are trying to make-but the reference to the tablet breaks the flow of the metaphor and stanza.

I hope this makes sense :).

I noted the your references - as explained by you - to Qu`ran. I had missed them. I repeat my request to help the reader with a difficult word glossary and add a suggestion for clarifcatory notes to references unless they are direct. These will help greater understanding and promote more meaningful interactions.

My purpose in suggesitions is to present a more positive and hopeful aspect.

…can i ask you if you understood the reference…loh-e-mahfooz or the sacred tablet or the is a Qur’anic reference…some scholars interpret it as an undertaking by God to protect the Qur’an…another (perhaps misconstrued) but popular myth is that the enite Qur’an is preserved n a tablet and arch angel Gabriel brought it in bits and pieces to Muhammed (saw)

#2, Naqshbandi: Our appreciation depends on our depth of thinking in any language. Inspite of everything I highly value temporal`s idea of providing a ``bridge`` between Urdu and English.
#3, Sameerjb: We need to overbeat on sexual aspect of poetry. While, for some inexperience it provides titillation, it does have a consequence of stereotyping emotional reactions.

You are right but translation dirct to Panjabi from Emglsih will come out different than from Urdu version. I had vuGH and kaDH, chaDH or laTH (for receding) in mind for flow and withdraw respectively. With these two wods in Panjabi, sex is automatic a possible abstract thought, once it is already on mind.
