Mian Mullah of Detroit!
{{the spider who just wouldn`t give up climibing the wall and after trying a thousandth time finally succeeded. And so should we; just keep on trying until we succeded. So we will try another Kargil, another Kargil, another Kargil until our captured land is free. We will try until the banya falls down on his knees and beg for a dialogue. The itsey bitsy spider will ultimately win, because God has never wasted the efforts of those who try.}}
hahahaha!!!
beta,
Is that what your mentor OBL told you in his latest sermon; from some rathole in NWFP?!
Everytime you spiders try & scale the walls; it seems the wall becomes higher & higher!
The only people who give MORAL backing to Pakistan`s Kashmir cause is frikking Al-Qeeda!! Even the BESHARAM Palestinians are lovey-dovey with India (despite the fact that Big daddy Sharon himself is planning to visit India in September). No talk even in your rich sugar-daddys S.Arabia & Kuwait about breaking diplomatic relations with those damned penis-worshipping indecent Hindians!
Huzoor;
What is happening to muslims of the great ummah; hahn?!
Why are the muslims of the world not uniting behind such BLATANT abuse of Kashmiri muslims by godless penis worshippers?
Seems to me; atleast ONE morcha of S.Arabian, Egyptian, Syrian, Libyan, Iranian, Afghan students burning the flag of India, in their respective countries, would have gotten our dhotis...tsk tsk..such a shame!
Burning of Vaju`s effigy or Indian tricolor in Damascus, Cairo or even bloomin` Riyadh would be splashed on front page of Indian newspapers (eventhough they all belong in the gutter)...
Please
migrate to S.Arabia. They need young, handsome, proud muslim engineers, such as yourself, to beat some sense into them!
At the very least, you ought to traverse the tunnel in Detroit & go to Windsor--like.... for GOOD! These damned Michiganders think Kashmir is a sweater!!!
I`ll bet you; Canada`s better for your emotional well-being (eventhough Canada gives refuge to besharam liberal ex-communists, like SameerJB)...
I dont know why Allah doesnt listen to your prayers; these days?!
Maybe He`s wasting His time trying to redeem 800 million pagans like us...
Now, I HUMBLY admit I dont have Almighty`s wisdom...
Islam is a great religion & your Holy Prophet was a great man..
Its a good thing that Islam is hijacked by REAL muslims like you...
Frankly, I dont understand why the Ummah is acting so illogically?!!--
Do you?

You probably belong to that group who vacillate between ``love for Pak`` and ``hatred``. It is a disease, especially with those who have had some past links with that country.
I am in a position to be more critical and objective. I have nothing to gain or lose. I am a south Indian with no links to Pak. I am not emotional when it comes to Pak. My best friend in US was a Pakistani, so it is not as if i have anything against the Pakis.
But I need to see the result on grounds. All this lovey-dovey talk makes no sense to me if Paki terrorists keep on killing innocent people and our armymen. When that stops and Pak renounces the policy of jehad against India, it would have automatically become a friend. Until then, i will hold my horses.

I got a serious question to Paki establishment... Who are the retards in Paki establishment that are allowing the scattered Taliban morons to re-group ? Who are the retards in paki establishment picking up fights with Hamid karzai.... Seriously, what exactly are these retards trying to achieve ? Doesn`t everybody ( who has atleast an ounce of brain matter in their heads ) know that U.S of A will rain down daisy cutters on their friggin` heads..... geeez, how bad a retard does one have to be to think they can gain anything by creating troubles for Karzai government.

stuka/naqshbandi:
``However, to put things in perspective, if the troops had not been withdrawn, the onset of winter would have meant the cutting off of the entire Siachen brigade from India leading to their surrender or death``
I think you omitted the most important factor. The reason why Nawaz and indeed, the world community, panicked was that India was all set to expand the conflict. The Indian army wanted the permission to go into POK and the US intelligence suggested that it was not a mere threat. The responsible Pak media at that time was full of eerie comparisons with the 1965 expansion of incursion into a full-fledged war. If the jehadis were not withdrawn, it would have certainly resulted in the expansion of the war beyond Kargil.

`` One sure hopes that pakistani people change because of their insecurities. As for pomposity--Pakistani`s sure come across as know it alls.--they talk big, and tend to be bombastic especially with women. Talk to a pakistani guy and within 3 minutes he will tell you he knows everything about something or drop names--or give the ``inside`` story of some political situation or other. I think P`s have a rabid interest in politics and political events. Indians don`t complain about life in India. They are much more matter of fact about their life and accepting of things in general within their country and outside--perhaps it is the training of accepting suffering--dont know if that is religious or cultural. I took that to mean that perhaps they are more secure about themselves--but you may be right--it is perhaps a better mask that is all ``
There is a difference between whining and quietly working to improve things. I grew up in Southern India without air conditioners. I knew very few rich folks who had one. These days everyone has a air conditioner whether they need it or not.

`` I hate sissies and I hate sissy talk. Sissies have never accomplished anything in this world; heck they can`t even bake a bread. You`ll find them complaining how hot the oven is. If there is something to learn we should learn from the story of King Robert Bruce and the itsy bitsy spider, the spider who just wouldn`t give up climibing the wall and after trying a thousandth time finally succeeded. And so should we; just keep on trying until we succeded. So we will try another Kargil, another Kargil, another Kargil until our captured land is free. We will try until the banya falls down on his knees and beg for a dialogue. The itsey bitsy spider will ultimately win, because God has never wasted the efforts of those who try. ``
There is more to being a man than being macho. Robert Bruce succeeded against third rate English monarch and despot. If Kashmir is your captured land, how about trying to reclaim East Pakistan ? Try to bring back the Taliban and Bin Laden. What are you afraid of ? B-52s ??

Arjun, since you had been asking this question for a long time, I hope you do mind, because I took the liberity and asked some of the Pakistani soldiers who were at Kargil. They said that when they attacked and took over Indian army food depots, grass was they could find there!
Hope this answers your question!

I used to suffer from the same hubris, which infects many on Chowk till one day I learned that politics, specially nationalistic politics, should never be taken personally, because it is nothing more than an opinion.
Personally speaking, I do not frown upon the person who hates me, because all they are doing is upsetting themselves and not me! Hate wins, when I response with hatred. Hate is a personal opinion and I opt to disagree with it. What you are calling rationality and neutrality is nothing more than an indifference. It is the indifference, which my friends refer to as the cynic in me. Cynic in the sense that I am always searching for a good person knowing that I will never find them, but that does not mean I should give up the search!
Hope all of this makes sense!
