Enjoyed your article.
Isn`t it amazing that there is more comfort in the chaos of back home than in the structured life of the west!

Your article was interesting. I think Pakistani politicians should stop politicking, and start workig for the people, who have elected them. If you want to do something you can do it in any system.

politics in pakistan is like... high school gossip... bollywood/hollywood, tabloid trash. the best (or selfish) thing to do is, get to know the politicians.. see the deal... join the party. and if anything, you have a lot of money and respect at the end of the day. if thats what you really want. or just ignore it all together like most of us tend to do. cause theres no point. either you`ll be a loathed govt chamchaa with a lot of bhao or be shot down. no wonder everyone moves away..........[.[.;.

Nice, specially since it wasn`t at all what I thought it would be. Just today CNN showed a small report about the widespread, across all echlons of Pak society, incidence of domestic violence specially cases involving burning the women with with fire, acid etc. So my friend be carefull of the world spotlight cause it will show all ugliness also. I don`t know if it is ok to comment on the comments here but I am going to. It is not the choas back home that is comforting but the people, though sadly they change when they come over to the west. The Pakistani politicians are working exactly for the people who voted for them. And many of the voters got paid on voting day anyways. But who exactly elected the general. Yes any system can work but why try to create a new one when the world around us offers good working examples. Besides the general would have had more credibility if he had been a proper dictator instead of trying to head this sham democracy. God save my beloved Pakistan.
