A very intresting humour ...
infact, I participated twice in Q&A Pakistan programme...
it used to take place at Royal Rondals,Karachi and what I
observed the people belonged to every part of Karachi they were
Middle class Pakistanis and that too educated and concerned about
Pakistan (that was a treat to watch) and I remember that fat British
guy who use to give briefings to teh audience and he always used to say
`now gentleman don`t be rude to our guests coz` after all it`s your country`s
image which is being broadcast` ..:P
and Maria`s makeup..?
i remember the episode when Pres.Mushraff was asked to sing
and he didn`t..! and after that the programme finished he sang for
us..
that was good!
some memories...
now for someone who lives in UK.. I miss Pakistan :(
and hey not to mention Maria Khan`s too much makeup !

Funny and entertaining.
You have captured the whole attitude and the feel of most of `Quashing Time Pakistan` episodes very well.

Found this one hilarious ...
``... is our government doing anything to put pressure on Bush Administration for better handling of our fellow citizens?
LANGAR KHAAJA: ``Hahahaha... putting pressure on Bush Administration... hahahaha....``
DAQIA-NUS-DANISH: I fail to see any humour in this question. I think the Prime Minister should throw all his weight on US Ambassador in Islamabad to...``

Zulfiqar:

LUNGER KHAAJA: Kashmir is our jugular-vein, and India calls it part of its body, and India is our bigger brother, but we`re no small fry so we are not going to sacrifice our body-part, that is why our nuclear deterrence is necessary, not only because there is sibling rivalry of nuclear proportions but also that India never discloses exactly which body part of it Kashmir is...

...finally, a body part!...very perceptive...but what if it is an organ and not a part?...

... enjoyed this...keep regaling!

rgds,

t
