tahmed32,

``Let us, however, not think in terms of a south asian or central asian ``bloc``? Stop this tribal thinking, and see the world as it is today: a global village``

Worth repeating. STOP THIS TRIBAL THINKING.

More power to you Mr. Ahmed!

By all means let us work together to improve (economically, culturally) the immediate neighborhood that India and Pakistan are located in.
Let us, however, not think in terms of a south asian or central asian ``bloc``? Stop this tribal thinking, and see the world as it is today: a global village. Lets seek a more peaceful south asia, in peace with itself as well as ``with malice towards none``, as Lincoln said.

Pakistan is at the crossroads of these cradles of civilization. It is therefore that we still enjoy a very focused central position in world affairs .. one hopes that it will be a positve position instead of a negative one in the future.
