jay #131 one more time i must expose your lie: you write ``I wonder whether there could be any indian who believes that akbar and the moghul rulers were pakistanis, and moghuls was a pak empire.``

now, cut and paste where i said anything about the above. then take two lithium and report back for your daily shock treatment at the Advani Welfare Institute for Mentally Sick Hindutvas (liars branch).

``Brave people never are, and never appear to be, happy at any misfortune befalling any innocent people. Besides, our proverty has not disappeared either. ``

It may be a misfortune for a government to be criticised, but the Musharraf government is not innocent in deliberating failing in its duty to compile poverty statistics just to save its own ass.

Where does India come in? India doesnot have a government under military control which is fudging its own record of governance and justifying its grand narrative against civilian politicians based on manipulated data. Its not India whose President preaches many times an year, his own grand narrative of how the West should help alleviate poverty in his country.

`Their` poverty cannot disappear if the government refuses to compile and publish statistics on it. It is specious logic on your part that India must first become a developed country without poverty and till then any of its neighbouring countries` governments can fudge figures to hide the rising poverty under their watch.

hamidm #128 by all means ridicule the ridiculous stuff that people say and do in pakistan. if that is the only side you choose to see of pakistan, i feel sad for you if this is all you can see of pakistan, but agree that you have the right to your views as long as what you say is fact based even though it is not the whole truth.

however, i do not see how you can (while agreeing that jay is a lunatic) say (as you said in your earlier post) that there is something to be learnt from him. perhaps i am missing something.

would you care to describe exactly what have you learnt from jay (and the rest of the thakeray crowd) on chowk?

Godot and tahmed,

You two are the ultimate proof of the pak education syatem, the true believers of pak.org version of history.

I wonder whether there could be any indian who believes that akbar and the moghul rulers were pakistanis, and moghuls was a pak empire. It is first time on the chowk that I have read thses attrocious views, paks as legal heirs to the moghuls, the rulers of india and the lot.

It is really sad and reinforces my view that there is no hope for pakistan other than iraquisation. If this represent the mind of the ducated, may be the jihadis are the most enlightened.

re: sick Romair`s ramblings
This guy Romair is actually sick. He has some fixations that he can never get rid of. He likes to live in darkness and refuses to see the lightl
He says:
``I don`t think Pakistan`s Kashmir will ever want independence. My family is from there, so I do have some knowledge of the area. It is getting a good deal from Pakistan...``

Should i repost all the articles that say how much rights the people of POK enjoy, how badly governed they are? Or how the demography of that area has been changed? If Romair the idiot lives there (a Punjabi ex-fauji), i can tell you he is not alone. Thousands of ex-fauji families have been resettled there.
People who live in a dicatatoial regime should not be talking about rights.
Sridhar

tahmed,

............ whatever happened to your sense of humor?.........and nobody is denying ahmedmadani the right to worry about the water problem - it is a legitimate issue .........

............. but are you denying the historical fact tha rafiq tarrar`s major contribution during his sentence at the presidency was leading the ummah in prayers for rain?.......... by all accounts he had a fairly decent batting average except for one major flood and a ten month long drought ............

............i know you disagree with naqshbandi on miracles and hobgoblins, but if mother teresa can do it, why can`t the prophet of islam?.......... come on, we muslims are always underestimating our own people ...........

#113 Mr. Romair i will answer tonight when I will in charge and assuming the things work as well oiled machine. If not next next night. You have raised all good points and will try to answer honestly. You always raise good points and appreciate that and value your personal feeling for your country. ( you are well to do,you do not need to waste your time here, and same can be said about others). I really appreciate of all EXpak and EXIndia for caring for their people. Its really good than nonchalant neglect. I take opportunity to all Ex,s.to thank for their caring.

#122 Mr. Tahmed..... do not get worried by Hamidbhai ideas. When you have liquid refreshements made from cool clear water of scottland ( hope he does not touch cheap american aluminium canned yellow stuff- if want to be sinner at least have good stuff)AGED OVER YEARS you get lots of wonderful ideas.

Mr. Nashabandi and hamid they are opposite of each other. Nasha +Bandi explains all. One is for bringing of Nizam E Mustafa other wants to have all benefits of Shahid Jehadi on this earth without judgement day call. In end both are not going get all and will be disappointed on earth. I hope one get Nizam E Mustafa ( one exactly not sure what is this stuff) and other gets his stuff.

Arjun ji,

Arjun was the epitome of bravery. Brave people never are, and never appear to be, happy at any misfortune befalling any innocent people. Besides, our proverty has not disappeared either.

I hope you will forgive my impudence, but I look at people like you as our new and modern Khshatriyas. Our Khshatriyas must be active, brave, and noble. To a person such as you, bravery and nobility will come naturally.

Thank you for listening to me.

hamidm #120 two points. First, madani is in karachi, and is quite rightly worried about the water problem. these are real life problems that dont affect you sitting in the US, so for you to laugh about the problem is disgusting. Second, madani has always written quite practical things and is no naqshbandi. So you are way off target in telling him to pray for the problem to disappear.

Seems to me the jay disease may be catching. maybe it is time for you to get some fresh air.

ahmedmadani,

............ you worry about the water problem for nothing ........ all you need is faith ........ there are at least three bonafide miracles attributed to the prophet (pbuh) where he created water out of nothingness (subahallah)................my personal favourite is the one about the infidel woman whose two bags of water quenched the thirst of a hundred followers and their camels ......... and she was so impressed by what she saw that she, and her entire tribe, converted to islam (takbeer!)..........

......... and if you don`t believe in miracles we can always resort to special prayers (salat-i-baran) as was customary during the reign of president hazrat rafiq tarrar who once caused a flood because he couldn`t make it stop raining.............

........... so let the horrible hindoos and the barbaric afghan tribes build their dams and divert our water - we have the power of faith ................
