nice little travelogue. enjoyed reading about ``a Fat Catalan women smoking a fag``.
Which end of his did she light up before smoking him? And did he scream for her to let him go??

PS: fag=gay in the US, NOT a cigarette.

Isfandyar

A zippy travelogue...Barcelona is my favourite Spanish city...The Gaudi Cathdral is amazing. Barcelona has become a byword for succesful urban redevelopment and the re-invention of depressed cities throughout Europe....Gaudi had a canvas to make the city his own personal work of art and there are times when it buzzes with that sensibility...Wonderful place...I think Picasso was a Catalonian from Barca too...

Met a few Sardarji`s with shops on the Ramblas there too...they were blasting bhangra at top volume...

:-)

Viva La Catalunya!!

Next time visit the Parc de Guel and other Gaudi master pieces as well :) and the thriving bars on Port Viel just off La Ramblas...

Btw. do you know there is actually a `pareshaan rambla` in barcelona!!!

The best youth hostel is named `Kabul` and `Govinda` restaurant serves the best `pau bhaji`.

And then there is FC barcelona`s stadium for football lovers!!!

Nice you liked my country this much. It is very interesting to read about Barcelona from an Indian perspective. Are there many Indians in Barcelona? I have lived in Hyderabad one year and miss my life there and my Indian friends. Now I am back in my country, Spain, eating jamón jamón...

Well, I don´t live in Spain but I consider myself Spanish in spite of my French passport. My mother is from Zaragoza, Spain, married to a French. I am visiting relatives now in Spain but have nver been to Barcelone. I would love to visit someday.
